SB didn't even know DB had Lisa. Married to the guy and doesn't tell him she's pregnant. Oops, well I guess it's out of the bag - she probably admitted to it after the amber alert, like the wine after the video.

I see it as a situation where they broke up and everyone moved on. I certainly can't speak to SB's actions, just to say he was in the military during 2 horrible wars, and perhaps with his having PTSD he made the decision to not be in his son's life. Not knowing more than that I can't speak to his or DB's actions. If he agreed to child support and having DB keep receiving benefits, then good on him. Having been separated from him, I don't know why she would've been required to tell him or his step-mom about her pregnancy with Lisa. I know of several friends of mine who were separated but not divorced, who moved on with their lives, and amicably agreed that they're not obligated to share their personal lives with the other.

In this case it doesn't automatically make SB, DB or JI horrible people who are capable of murder.

called her that..LE has not verified this statement as true..this is from DB's camp!!

Lot's of things I'm taking as "hearsay" at this point and of that particular term-so what? DB may have inferred that term by the way LE was speaking to her or maybe in the heat of sorting thru the timelines and such-someone in LE did say it!!
Either way- there are more important things to worry about - like let's everybody get on the same page and find Lisa?? And when will LE get to talk to the boys again??:banghead:

Again, is it known that LE called DB trash? Nope. Is LE admitting to it? Did it come straight from DB? Is it even in quotation marks? No, no, and no. The statement was made by her brother, and allegedly came from DB's mouth, after it came from LE's mouth. That's third hand info, which is fourth hand info when it makes it to print, and not a direct quote to begin with. Make of it what you will, just consider the source.

What makes you think they haven't looked for a live baby? I don't have the links, but I know I have read where LE was following up on tips of a live baby, but so far none of those have panned out.

Maybe somebody else can verify that.

Did you hear LE say that DB was "*hite *rash"? Unless you did, how do you know if this is true? What was written in the article is a "rumor" until proven otherwise.

Well, I think that's a nit worth picking. This is a msm article, not some kind of publicity piece written by the family.

The point is, unless there is a video or LE states it is true, or there is another witness, it is simply what DB says LE said. In other words, it cannot be corroborated. DB could have made it up, exaggerated it, or taken it out of context. We don't know. DB is the only person who says LE said that.

This is from an attorney who at least observed the Oct. 8 interview. Not sure about the Oct. 4-6 interviews.

My opinion is that it wouldn't be prudent to be searching for a live baby at this point. I know that they're checking out any leads that are sightings of a live baby as they receive them, but it seems unlikely that Lisa is still alive by now.

I'm wary about this article-taking it a face value if you will-but i can see why le may have referred to DB as w trash, Sitting on the stoop, drinking wine while having a ciggy and talking with neighbors isn't a good picture to paint. Heck it's against the law here to drink in your front yard.

Remind me to never go there then! And I rarely ever drink, but I sure would want somebody to tell me what I can do of that nature on my own property.

Question about LDT--if LE are allowed to say whatever they want during interrogation, couldn't the just lie to DB about her failing polygraph questions?

Police can say what they want if they have evidence of what probably happened,but look at the Balloon Boy incident.The police were saying publicly they didn't suspect the parents were involved in what happened,but when the little boy said it,they had what they needed.They won't arrest till they are sure it will stick,so either someone confesses or someone else tells what they know,or tests results and it can be proven.The fact the boys aren't allowed to speak to police,when in the house,is disturbing. And with the changing stories,esp when a lawyer came on the scene,and police aren't free to question how they want,it's more than disturbing. I don't understand how in a case like this,they can't question the parents one at a time or the boys.It would seem like the parents would do anything to make sure they weren't seen as being involved,in any way,by talking to LE.Now if she's not found,God forbid,most people will always think they were.

perhaps the star reporter has off the record or background information from other sources that allowed her and her editors to feel comfortable using the "white trash" based on the grandfather.

They interviewed Sean O Brien. He may have shared more details off the record with them. Or may not have. But a question to ponder.

If you were innocent, I don't think you would be so mad that you wouldn't assist LE in finding the real perp though, right? That's what I just don't get. I would be angry and frustrated too, if that were me, and I was innocent. But I would still want my baby found. Giving up, and shutting up, just seems so strange to me.

Seems like it is easier to blame LE for Lisa's disappearance.

ITA with you, finding my child would be my first priority, and we definitely do not know for a fact that LE did accuse or treat DB and JI with disrespect. IMO innocent people do not blame LE for treating them unfairly, they blame LE for not doing enough.

I don't believe Deborah would be stupid enough to make things up about her interview with LE. Because, if LE hears her making claims of them saying or doing things to her that they did NOT do, wouldn't that make her look more guilty in their eyes?

I absolutely believe they treated her the way she says. Is anyone here naive enough to not know LE does this all the time? Personally, I don't care what they do as long as they find Baby Lisa - whatever it takes.
