So, Deborah comes from a dysfunctional family. Haven't we heard this before? Good article and worth reading, but I don't think it tells us anything that we didn't already know. jmo
We will never really know how each one of us would react in this situation. We also know that LE works from inside the family first. If I was in DB's shoes and I was innocent, I feel I would work with LE every step of the way to clear my name so that they can move on to FIND MY BABY. It would be the most difficult thing to do, being accused of doing things to my own child, but getting through that and having LE clear my name would speed up the investigation. Having LE interview and DNA test others in the house, would speed up the investigation. LE is trying to find your baby, nothing would stop me from slowing LE down from doing so. JMO
This is just MOO-DB was not mother hen the night she was drinking, blacking out from a box of wine, and I don't mean
that in a snarky way.It was wrong for her do this when she had a sick child and 2 others in her care!!

That might be an initial reaction to being accused by LE...but clinging to it a month later, and acting only through teams of attorneys, when no progress has been made, really? A parent's hurt feelings really supercede the fact that a little baby is missing? A so-called fear of a false arrest? When was the last time a person confessed falsely to a missing persons case? Wouldn't they have to know where the person was, for it to be a confession? What fear could be greater than the fear of not knowing where your baby is? It seems very selfish to me for the parents to worry more about themselves at a time like this. JMOJMOJMOJMOJMOJMO
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, Mountian Kat, a link. OMG, I really need to see this!!!!! THANKS!!!
This is NOT evidence pointing to Lisa being dead. There was one hit by a cadaver dog . . . respectfully, maybe you should read the Cadaver Dog thread.

Point made, thanks (back to lurking)
What's up with the cops telling JI that Lisa was not his child? They told him DB confessed to this. LOl What a tactic..No wonder they quit talking to them. maybe they should re-think their techniques for interrogations. I understand they were trying to get him to roll over on her I guess but in this case it must have backfired. I would be mad as a wet hen and never trust them again.
Is anyone related to Lisa more concerned about her than about bad things being said about Mom?
Baby Lisa is out there, somewhere, Netz says.
“She was absolutely beautiful, and she was always cooing and laughing and chewing on her hand. I used to tease Debbie and say, ‘That kid is just hungry. Give her a pork chop, will ya?’ ”
“They can take her away, but they can’t take away her memory. … She is so special to us.”
Again, he stops talking. He wipes his eyes.
“Yeah, I think she’s still alive…
“Tell people to keep looking.”
You know what? There is a standard for when your child is missing - it's called telling the truth and helping in any way you can, regardless of what may be brought to light. I can tell you that with every fiber of my being that if my child went missing, my life would be an open book, skeletons and all. I would not stop cooperating with them or refuse to allow them to question my minor children.
Besides, what exactly are DB and JI doing to help find their missing daughter? Nothing. MOO.

All kinds of people say Terri Horman was a great mother to Kyron too...and yet very few have any qualms about insisting on her guilt...I see very little correlation between the "good mother" quotes and the actual truth of what goes on in homes.
The family mostly speaks of Baby Lisa in past tense which bothers me a lot. IMHO his last sentence, tell people to keep looking -- has he looked any at all? This is a prop up interview to "humanize" DB and her host of insecurities and problems. We all have problems KWIM. DB's baby is missing and they are ALL AWOL.
Kind of O/T but kind of related. In Kenia Monge's case, the police had a surveillance video of Kenia at an apt building and/or hotel before she met up with Forbes. This video was only recently made public (after Forbes confessed and her body was recovered). I found that curious only because people around that hotel/apt. building that time of night could have witnessed Kenia and Forbes together and his van. But for whatever reason, LE didn't make it public until way after the fact.
The Kansas City Star article of 11/5/11.

There is discussion about it on at least 2 threads (MSM Coverage 11/5/11 and 11/6/11), so it probably needs its own thread.
David Netz, Jr., Lisa's maternal grandfather, and Hazel Bradley, Deborah's mother-in-law, are interviewed.
ETA: Deborah's uncle, Johnny Chivalette III, is also interviewed.
ETA2: Article also being discussed on "Mother preparing to be arrested" thread (FYI to the mods)
