I think you're assume a 'withhunt' when for the majority it's more of not being willing to automatically rule DB out because we feel sorry for her or because she once was able to call 911/take her stepbrother to the hospital. Many of us are unsure and not willing to rule her out. She's told to many mistruths and changed her wstorytoo much.

I have to ask, not picking of you but for you and all posters of every mind set,

if it were Jeremy instead of Debbie we were discussing, would you be so willing to rule him out and declare him innocent and victim of a 'witch hunt?

Until LE gives proof.... YUP!:twocents:

This is NOT evidence pointing to Lisa being dead. There was one hit by a cadaver dog . . . respectfully, maybe you should read the Cadaver Dog thread.

Cadaver dog hit on scent in DBs bedroom - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community

Point made, thanks (back to lurking)

I have read that cadaver dogs have an over 90% accuracy rate. And how do we know there was only one dog hit? Maybe DB just has really bad luck and all the stars were aligned against her that night. I obviously don't know what happened to Baby Lisa but I believe DB does. I just hope the truth comes out and soon. In the beginning I didn't doubt Baby Lisa was kidnapped. Then DB said she was drunk. IMHO, you can't believe or trust a drunk.

I agree. Where did that even come from? I think LE were just throwing out whatever they could think of, because unfortunately they really had not much to go on. *sigh*

I'm not banking on any of this stuff actually being said to DB. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't, but the only people telling these version of events are DB and JI, and of course, the family members who are simply repeating what DB and JI have told them.

So, the house on Walrond is not JI's parents home, it's PN's. Glad that's finally clarified.

And the question of whether PN lives in a trailer behind the Irwin house, or whatever.

I agree MK!!

I think it's all due to the lawyers, at least that's what I feel. I think the parents advisors are telling them "All the police care about is convicting you of this crime. DO NOT talk to anyone." For all we know Deb and Jeremy may not have a problem talking to LE again, or letting the boys be interviewed. But if the "legal experts" who have handled things like this before are telling them not to, that it won't help Lisa, then maybe that's the reason for their silence. People who are in shock, in a traumatic situation, may just be taking the only guidance they have right now. I think Joe Tacopina et al. have a lot of influence with those parents right now. JMO

Just jumping off this post, more in the direction of the post you were quoting than yours... the idea that the harsh content would only be a temporary set back in terms of talking to LE.

IIRC DB and JI asked to interview again with different detectives and an attorney to protect their rights. If it's true it explains why they want their next interview with a fresh face.

My question is why won't LE allow it? The first tactic and persons DID NOT WORK.

a)If they don't have enough evidence to force another interrogation legally, then YES, they really are at the mercy of these provisions to get their additional interview. And that's fair- if (roles reversed) they had no evidence against you, you shouldn't be interrogated endlessly either.

b) if they DO have enough evidence to force another interrogation without caving to the new detective wish, then quit whining and do it already. You don't need permission to bring someone down to the station when you have probable cause.

LE rarely tips their hand when it comes to evidence, they keep a lot close to the vest until a trail..so for some people to say LE is not doing anything and have stop searching is just wrong. They know a little girl is missing and I can almost say without a doubt..they have NOT stop looking for Lisa!! Great article, it almost puts me back on the fence.

Total spin! What else would you expect from a family member or someone who loves and trusts DB?

o hello! Hazel the ex MIL has every reason to be sweet to DB-her grandson? When lil debby and he ex MIL son were sleeping together and knowingly broke that rule, DB dad signed for them to get married. The ex MIL lost a son as she knew him over that little deal after he signed up and went in the military. Seems to me db is very adept at i will show u, using others in just that situation and her dad says he dint want her to be all alone, so she managed to garner sympathy to boot!

Great post! I forgot that the parents said they would agree to be interviewed by different detectives. A and B are two EXCELLENT points.

How in the world would that put anyone back on the fence...I'm curious too.

I'm wondering........WHY would LE tell JI that DB said the baby wasn't his? PERHAPS....DB admitted to it and now she has no choice but to say "OH Those Mean LE".......hhhmmmmmmmmmmm...................................

  • #175
LOL. Whew, trying to be slightly insulting to me, but I'm a big girl so I can ignore that. No, no top secret mission. I'm just stating that we have no idea WHAT Lisa's family is doing, nor do we really even know what LE is doing, unless they are searching, because the media covers that. We are not there, so you can't say they are doing NOTHING, because you don't know that.

Sorry but it is pretty well documented that JI and DB are doing a whole lot...of covering their a - double s es.... Haven't been doing what has been asked of them...sensible things to HELP FIND LISA. Nope they are hiding. Huuummm. MOO

If it is true that LE said that to her, why would it really be motivation for her to harm or kill Lisa? :waitasec:

I think it is interesting that in the article that "armchair sleuths" were making judgement on DB. They must know we are here.

*puts tomato down on desk*

That's a very interesting thought, Teh.

And a statement from the interview:

"And for some reason, Sean seemed to feel uncomfortable around his little boy. He stopped visiting him. He still pays child support, Hazel says."

Not his? Recognized the child now looks like a friend? Did the new baby's dad decide the same thing?

I want to believe the parents were not involved in her disappearance, but find it difficult to do so.

IDK........Maybe it was along the lines of LE asking her if she knew anyone that would take Lisa and she said something along the lines of "well maybe her real dad"?
