The 35-year-old mother of two was last seen by friends and family in July. On Friday, an official police investigation was opened by Champaign Police after a concerned friend, Kendra Keeler, reported the disappearance — And she said she’s deeply concerned about Brittany’s well-being.

Her SM are outdated, but photos show her tatoo

Soon after, (her friend Keeler) reported the absence to the Champaign Police Department, who then opened an investigation. Keeler also reached out to several missing persons organizations, like the Black and Missing Foundation.
…We will create a flier that we distribute on our social media channels

So here is the flyer prepared for family and friends: note the last sentence of the circumstances as reported by family

The missing picture may not be current, as at 230 pounds I would think her face would be a little bit fuller (my opinion, as that's where I always show it if I gain a few pounds). But the tattos are quite distinctive.

I've left out a probate case, a minor claim <$50, and several traffic infractions, but there is a pattern here that is concerning. I didn't see it at first as the cases in the system aren't chronological but when I matched up the names I saw the pattern. Over the years, six requests for orders of protection, 2 each for 3 different men, 1 closed, the rest dismissed. In one year she had two separate orders of protection requested for two different individuals and for one individual the orders of protection were 5 years apart (long term relationship, father of a child perhaps?)

The criminal case is minor, retail theft.

There is an OPEN case in Family Court (details not viewable), though it was filed in 2014, it's still showing as open. Case is against the party named in the Orders of Protection in cases ending in 321 and 541, so I'm thinking father of a child of hers.

Police said Schurvinske was last seen July 24, 2024, near Illinois Terminal. WAND News spoke with Champaign police. They said she was not reported as missing to the department until Jan. 24, 2025. They said were not sure why she had not been previously reported missing by the family

She was listed on Black and Missing and is no longer there but that's all I can find.
