Hi all Been reading today, and trying to keep up.

Just a thought on this Dr. Geffner and what he would be called to testify about. Remember when JW was questioning Dr.D about the MMPI computer read outs, and all those graphs that Dr.D said were of no significance to her and she didn't interpret them. But JW made Dr.D 'humour her' LOL

I think it's very possible that this Dr. Geffner could be called to interpret those test scores (or whatever they are called), and I'm thinking he has come up with something completely different. Would not surprise me if JW already knew what his interpretation of it was before she questioned Dr.D too. He could interpret those reports and refute what Dr. D came up with, without actually interviewing JA. That is the only logical thing I can think of why they would/could call him. JMO

This whole thing is being orchestrated by Ms. Einstein wanna be. She is out to search and destroy everyone besides TA. She is so angry, delaying the trial is her way of costing the taxpayers of AZ. tons of money, making TA's family miserable every single day they have to sit there. And Juan and the State are also her targets. JW and the guy Nurmi who is actually a spectator who likes to eat and relax during trial are all pawns and they're running up the bills too. She is so vindictive, a female Hannibal Lector for sure. She can't hide the look behind any of her disguises. Sad !! :drumroll:

Yep, she knows she's going down, and she's taking as many as she can with her, in her alternate reality.

I wish the jury could read the DT's 2nd degree plea offer and threats.

Did that happen when Travis asked her to repay a loan or something? Something to do with money, ..and we all know Jodi considers repaying money for money loaned to her is her loaning money to them. Heck, she probably stole it in the first place.
Watching her, I think she's been a thief all her life and I bet she has self-medicated herself since a teen---how did she convince clean-living Travis, that she was clean, drug-free?

Well, she may be the things you're saying. But when you meet people, you know only what you can immediately observe about them. Travis probably simply believed whatever she told him, since it seemed reasonable to him when he met her based on her appearance and the circumstances under which they met. It's pretty clear that as he got to know her he realized a lot of what he had first imagined was not true. Unfortunately, we still don't know exactly what some of that was -- if we did, particularly about what set him off in the last text messages we have from him to her, the trial may have been a lot shorter. Narcisssists like Jodi can maintain facades very effectively and they are extraordinarily careful about managing appearances to avoid detection. She slipped up and he caught her at some point, and everything was about to come tumbling down. That was certainly the precipitating event. What that revelation was, though, we don't know.

I guess but the State probably won't do that to prolong the trial unless it's necessary.

O/T update. Surgery went great! Cataract out, lens inserted in 8 minutes. go back at 9 in the morning though for a check up. I will miss the first part of the trial. But yayyyyy surgery went great! :great:

How will he have the time to spend 44 hours in person with her, send her books and read all the stuff Violet did before time to testify? Even if he did have time, after hearing all the BPD and battered woman testimony, what would stop Jodi from changing her answers to his questions to fit more in the battered woman diagnosis? OTOH, how can he base his "opinion" on erroneous information collected by Violet.

Makes no sense to me ... so will probably be allowed.

I think the Judge is being especially cautious to keep this from ending in mistrial or re-trial after appeal. To be honest, I'd hate to be her making decisions on some of these motions.

I think the imaginary April choke-out led JA to pack the UHaul and take off for CA... only she called a few hours later... and asked TA if she could come back and spend the night...which turned into 4-5 nights iirc. I could be wrong, since that sounds like crazy talk, which probably means it's correct. Jodi never answered exactly when this occurred, except it was before April 10.

Didn't he also slap her? Then she called her mother for help? In front of Travis?

Wow. How did 4 incidents of violence ever get so discombobulated?

I couldn't believe her nerve in saying that. I wished that the judge would have just let her talk, but someone objected. Maybe Martinez. I know there was one time he objected to her testifying about what happened during the fog, he was like, "If she remembers then I want her to tell us about it. lol"
