Good point. Why would anyone call 23 times in a 2.5 hour period? Something's not right with that.
I've done that when I was young. Hell, I did it 2 months ago when my daughter and hubby went to visit family and I couldn't reach them. She had turned the phone off by accident and I was frantic.

He was talking about Tim, not Ron.

I beg to differ. Mark Nejame plainly states that he had spoken with Tim Miller regarding the gun incident. He states that they were together, Tim, Mark, and Ronald and that he (Nejame) genuinely believes that Ronald has absolutely does not know what has happened to his child and is absolutely dedicated to finding that child. His manner and the way he acts alot of people may not accept it. That's verbatim.

You are right, he was speaking of Ronald not Tim.

He was only 30 minutes from home. If I was that close, I would have gone home to see why I couldn't get hold of anyone.

He was at work, some people can't just waltz home whenever they want. And we all know he couldn't afford to lose the job, since CS was sending no support for her children.

Additionally, for the record, Mike Brooks also stated when Nejame was speaking OF RONALD that he agreed that Ronald had nothing to do with the disappearance of Haleigh.

I'm sure you guys are right. The statement I heard from MN was in regard to the "undercover" incident and it was not publicized. How Tim was 100% dedicated to finding this child. When I'm wrong, I'm not too proud to admit it.

He did say the same thing about Tim Miller when the subject was first brought up about the defense lawyer on the panel stating that Tim's credibility was now shot because of the undercover episode. Brooks then went on to ask Nejame about the gun incident and Ronald, and that is when Nejame made the remarks that I posted above. I rewinded my DVR several times to make sure that I had heard it right.

There was an argument on the phone IIRC. That may explain the number of calls.

I have never known anyone to be excused from work, clock out and go home because someone doesn't answer their cell phone. We're talking cell phone, not even a reliable land line.

because of how ron acts, he may be short with people sometimes and his history i think caused a lot of people who dont even know him, to judge him by that, some people even suspect him due to that.

BROOKS: I want to go back out to Brandon Beardsley, the attorney for Ronald Cummings joining us from Jacksonville, California.

Mr. Beardsley.

BRANDON BEARDSLEY, ATTORNEY FOR RONALD CUMMINGS: Yes, sir.

BROOKS: Does he, in fact, have a weapon in his house?

BEARDSLEY: He does not have an assault rifle. That is just -- that statement is absolutely ludicrous. You know? No. He does not have an assault rifle. Does he have a pistol, I believe he does. I don`t know. I`ve never searched his house. But I know he didn`t have an assault rifle.

BROOKS: Have you talked to him about this?

BEARDSLEY: Yes.

BROOKS: You have?

BEARDSLEY: Yes, sir.

BROOKS: And have you been out to his house and asked him.

BEARDSLEY: I have not been to where Haleigh was taken from. When we started representing him he had already relocated residents.

BROOKS: Do you think that Ronald Cummings is a danger to himself or others, from what we are hearing from Art Harris?

BEARDSLEY: Now from what you are hearing from Art Harris, if it was true, then of course. But I have many, many clients that I am concerned over their emotional and mental state and I always refer them to therapy.

If I believed Ronald Cummings was emotionally or mentally unstable I would have him in therapy. And there is no doubt in mind that he is emotionally and mentally as stable as he can be for the circumstances that he`s in. He`s not a threat to himself or anyone that`s around him.

Why does he make so many threats if he doesn't mean any of it?

It's strange how the atty says it's ludicrous to say that RC has such a weapon because there is a poster who says that he had agreed to buy it from RC. :waitasec:

Also, it's a strange non sequitur about Ron moving from the house that Haleigh was taken from because that's not even close to what he was asked about. The point of the question was to get him to supply information about how he knew Ron didn't have such a weapon in his possession.

About the divorce: What happened to "we might get back together"? Now it's down to all communication through the lawyers?

And Fields is back on the case? Misty trying to reconcile with her own family?
Who has Misty been staying with? Have they been able to make her cautious? Have they been able to convince her that her atty may have some advice that she should take?

I bet Tim Miller wishes he'd never heard of this case.
