Defense counsel in chambers? Wonder why?

I am hoping with every fiber of my being that he is being asked to refrain from describing any adult activity in detail, or from backing up to anything.

If the questions are 'sensible' then hopefully they are common sense.

Like, idk....why look to fill up gas cans using the saving money technique yet buys at least 25 8 buck strawberry fraps throughout California.

Of how come you didn't call 911 once you woke up and realized what you did..even if it was anonymous.

After their little 'finger draping' demo they should probably return her chair to its normal height, too.

With her hairdo i'm sure she will try to lower the chair even more. :floorlaugh:

Not sure, they were going over the questions with speaker off, ten speaker on and all I saw was batman's cape and heard judge say court will see Defense in chambers???????

thanks QueenD....would love to be a fly on that wall!!

Omigosh I noticed that too. I have NEVER seen her write with her right hand until today. Good call babe!

I'm pretty sure it was pointed out by some astute posters about why JM did not point out that her journal writing after the so called broken finger didn't change but I think it did right after the murder?

Not sure. But I'll bet the jury noticed it.

Buggers, I didn't realize they were showing this...how much have I missed?

It started about an hour ago Noon Central time. A lot of it done at sidebar so we couldn't hear. The questions weren't read in open court, just objections and the judge either sustained or over-ruled. Now Defense team (only) in chambers with Judge.

Jodi's mother and aunt

Holy crap! The Geico caveman is in the court. I guess people will have to go back to the original post in order to see the attachment. :sigh:

Both sides must have gone back into chambers. I heard what you guys heard too but she cannot have only one side in chambers alone. That's ex parte communication and it's forbidden in such a scenario as this.

If so then why did the judge specifically request to speak with the DT?:waitasec:

Maybe about the question that Nurmi said is protected by privilege. Judge can get info in chambers to decide whether it would really violate privilege.

Might have to do with a question about Jodi's conversations with her bishop or maybe conversations she had with her fake attorney who advised her not to speak to the detective or maybe something about her defense strategy and when she first told anyone it was self defense.

Can you two have a sidebar and give us a ruling on this matter? LOL

]One of the evening shows said, I think it was Jean, that she saw Arias lower her chair herself just before court started. She said it went WAY down.
What a looser.

I heard that too!!

Think they brought in some pizza or fast food while they were reviewing questions so they don't make the jurors wait an hour? Nope!

Jury in at 3 eastern per hln.

Beth says Jodi has seen the questions.

Juror Question: Miss Arias, will you please demonstrate your ambidexterity by writing a paragraph using your right hand?

Might make that lovely penmanship from the January 24th journal entry a little suspicious.

Anyone else watching it on HLN? The callers make me laugh. They ask the weirdest questions sometimes.

I didn't hear judge recess for lunch. Are they out for lunch or just meeting in chambers? Anyone know? Thanks!
