:::::raises hand just like a middle schooler :::::

I missed that question and answer so had really been trying to find a quick video limited to that question. This video was priceless. I am not sorry that I laughed ...

Two thumbs up!

I never had clarity until today.

I needed the: who, what, where, how, when ... but the jurors questions and her answering has reinforced some of these.

Elle Elle dang it, I went from wanting to shake you to wanting to give you a high five and a chest bump w a good game butt tap!! Welcome aboard!

I think that was her point - although she didn't know she was making it.

Her specific comment was that "the whole 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 thing isn't funny"

Speak in FIRST person and not through someone else when we post. Blaming something on a child/husband/SO/friend is getting rather old and much like elementary school ... to me. Maybe that's just me? Kthanksbye
ETA: had to fix a bad QUOTE

Just my take on things but it's not laughing about a "🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 joke" or laughing about sex testimony.... it's the fact that in a murder trial a juror actually asked a question like that and a judge in all her stoic professionalism asked a murder defendant what her definition of 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 is. It's a bit of a shocker. I don't think that makes anyone immature. Other things might, but not that.

You always phrase thing so well. I admire your ability to get your point across with a few well chosen words.

I don't think it's any secret that my sense of humor is sophomoric, but I am's what I ams. :dunno:

BINGO! And she hacked into his email and saw the emails between Travis and Mimi.

Travis found out and sent her those texts on May 26th 2008 threatening to expose her.

I thought it was the "safe" excuse Travis gave her when he told her he was taking Mimi. Mimi didn't want a r'ship yet he was still taking her and I thought she mentioned in her testimony that Travis explained that a family with a little girl were also going...so maybe he said she could baby sit the little girl and still come along with no strings attached. Just my guess...

Just FYI...Linda's son is watching the whole entire thing, with her blessing -- except for when he gets bored of it. I don't think anyone's voiced any issue with that so far, including me. My kid has watched about 30 minutes, total, because she became interested.

In fairness, I think it depends on the kid. Mine happens to be very interested in the justice system. I support his interests in any way I can.

I don't mind him watching because I need him to know what can happen when you don't go with your instincts ... And choosing instead to listen to biological urges.

I recognize all kids are different. I would never say to someone that they should have their kid watch this trial.

and I do think she is conflating the two and this may be because of the Mormon use of edify and her not understanding it correctly and confusing it with deify because of it's religious connotation. I was curious because she seems to have learned to use certain Mormon buzzwords as part of her inserting herself in Travis's life and world. But she puts her own spin on words and her use of "de-edify" is just ridiculous. It doesn't make sense-if edify is to instruct and improve the soul and increase your moral and religious knowledge than what does "de-edify" even mean.

But I think she just makes this stuff up and her word was supposed to mean she didn't want to bring him down in people's esteem as he was highly regarded by all. Of course, that's exactly what she wanted to do so it is fitting that she is unable to describe it correctly and keeps repeating words incorrectly or words that aren't even words.

Exactly, well said! She keeps saying edify when she's speaking of canonizing and uses de-edify when she speaking of abasing. In any case, her impressive vocabulary is less than impressive, just like everything else about her.

Yes, I watched it. "Looking at" the video is what I meant. I can't turn the sound on though because hubby is watching TV. I saw the bloody floor and bullet. I guess different people have different ideas about what their kids watch. To each his own. :)

When you can listen to it you'll see that the bullet on the bathroom floor is surrounded by Jodi's testimony that she doesn't believe the bullet casing landed on blood. When the picture actually shows it lying on a pool of blood.

Given the nature of the humor abounding, I doubt it. But it's possible. Regardless, that was my dd's take on the video having no exposure to the attitudes or humor on this site and without my commentary. She wanted to see the link because she thought it "legit" had to do with the jury questions and that was her reaction.

How old is your child?

:tyou:I felt the same thing! She acts like she is teaching a class of newbies! I honest to God dont think she realizes why they were asking all these questions. May be she feels they forgot the answers. I dont think she has an ounce of common sense.:floorlaugh: :seeya:

P.S. Thanks to all for the beautiful job of posting..I have been so sick, fell asleep today during the questioning.:tyou:

Get better quick. I have a feeling tomorrow's going to be a doozy!!

But, I also can't see you attacking another poster and saying that it came from your son. I also didn't think that we were supposed to personalize posts here and announce what other posters (by name) allows their children to do or not do. But, perhaps I am wrong.

That could be a reason why Travis only sustained one gunshot wound. She declined to use the gun again because of how loud it was. She didn't want to run the risk of drawing attention to her crimes. Indeed, I recall from her interrogation that she mentions the loudness of the gun going off.

One shot would probably attract attention of the neighbors like "what was that?" A second shot would confirm it was gunfire.

It was quite the word choice that's why it is funny... They could of asked "🤬🤬🤬🤬" I suppose.

meh, I don't think it's funny under any circumstances. This whole situation is not funny and the trial is not funny. Bits of mostly unrelated-to-the-cris humor are probably necessary and appropriate from time to time, but potty jokes that even a middle-schooler finds immature (and I agree with her) diminishes the credibility of anything that this site hopes to accomplish, if anything. jmo

That is because she didn't realize she couldn't see clearly.....until she got glasses in 2010.

And she called herself a photographer???!!!

:what:

That means she couldn't really see that supposed pic that she says was a
little boy wearing underwear. Destroy an man's entire reputation on faulty info. :furious: The Devil
only knows how she was able to look through a window and spot a bra being resnapped.

I ain't apologizing for my sense of humor! It's gotten me through some of the darkest days of my life and without it, I wouldn't even be able to follow this trial.

Elle is a good addition to this board. She ponders/thinks/wonders/?, etc. That's all good. We all need that. Never ONCE has Elle posted anything other than her own opinion. I respect that.

And that is with poor eyesight and NO glasses.
Her lies are so incredibly bad.

Oh yeah...I got that part just from watching with no sound. That's the first thing I thought when I heard her testify to it today. She's nutso! But, I will watch it tomorrow when I can turn my speakers on. And, I liked it too! :)

None of the talking heads are talking about my number one gotcha remark, so I'm wondering if I am mistaken.

When Arias was talking about the period of her fog, its convenient borders, and how it is a memory issue of it's own, unique, etc, her attorney was trying to stop her. He was talking over her, reminding her that she can't remember, and she turned to the judge and said exactly this, "I can remember emotions, Judge."

She was talking about whether she was experiencing fear or anger when running from Travis (I think).

I think this is huge because if she can remember EMOTIONS from her fog period, then Juan can zero in on that, saying, "First you told us you felt fear in a flashback to the time he grabbed your wrist. Then what do you remember feeling?...... Was there sadness, fear of being caught....

Did any of you notice this?
