100 questions from the jury: Arias answering on her 16th day on the stand #75

That was sort of the meaning I inferred from that first question asking if Travis paid for her trips and if so wasn't he entitled to choose what happens ....

The arrangement of her house cleaning has always seemed like an arrangement for paying for it.........

Given the nature of the humor abounding, I doubt it. But it's possible. Regardless, that was my dd's take on the video having no exposure to the attitudes or humor on this site and without my commentary. She wanted to see the link because she thought it "legit" had to do with the jury questions and that was her reaction.

Maybe you should proof what your daughter views? :waitasec:

Come on..you had to know it was going to be a little funny, it was Steely's video!!! :floorlaugh:

Just my take on things but it's not laughing about a "🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 joke" or laughing about sex testimony.... it's the fact that in a murder trial a juror actually asked a question like that and a judge in all her stoic professionalism asked a murder defendant what her definition of 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 is. It's a bit of a shocker. I don't think that makes anyone immature. Other things might, but not that.

Exactly. There is nothing wrong with giggling about it at all. It was a funny moment. It's not a word used much in adulthood and when it came out of the judges mouth it was shocking, but funny. We shouldn't have our hands slapped, be called out, or made to feel less for thinking it was a funny moment.

I'll interrupt this little hijacking/scolding/offtopicing for one moment to just reiterate this one critical piece of information from today before I head off to sleep.

Juan Martinez touched my left shoulder , smiled at me and spoke to me personally today.

Aint nobody got time for nothin else than THAT!

Nobody of course refers to me.

:seeya: Nite everyone...see ya from the courtroom tomorrow.

PS if you get a chance still check out KatieDDJ's comments tonite on Dr. Drew show...i thought they were so insightful and just brilliant really!

Is there evidence Jodi spoke to Travis before arriving June 4? She said it was @2 min call. that's enough time for Travis to tell her never to call again.

There was a call at 8:16 p.m. on June 3 from Jodi to Travis that lasted 2 minutes. She claims this is when she told him that she is coming to Arizona (at his request/guilting). Her phone then went silent for 20 hours.

I do not believe she told him she was coming because that would have given Travis 8 hours to tell someone else that Jodi was coming, and she was very determined to be a ghost in Arizona.

One shot would probably attract attention of the neighbors like "what was that?" A second shot would confirm it was gunfire.

I believe a knowledgeable gun owner said that a .22 bullet doesn't break the sound barrier and therefore the sound is very soft. A larger gun like a .38 makes a much louder sound.

I don't want to lay this all at my dd's feet. I just thought her reaction was interesting since it was entirely unjaded. As a member, I feel the same way as she does for the most part. What's perceived as humor on these threads I mostly don't get at all.

I'm not criticizing you Karmady. We live in a world of differences and that's a good thing. The more voices that are heard the more information we have to base decisions on.

I've been through chemo treatments, seizures, finding out I got hepatitis C from an experimental vaccine I volunteered for, getting diabetes, having an ulcer, a thyroid problem, a mini stroke, being hospitalized for a month for a lung problem and then having to carry around a thingy that infused antibiotics into my body every hour for two weeks, a dosage mistake that caused me to have serious symptoms and put me in the hospital for a few days til someone figured it out, my fathers death, and a lot of other nasty things I'm forgetting. I've laughed at it all. I wasn't able to attend the memorial service for my father, but I wrote something for my step brother to read. A lot of it was funny. My dad was a funny guy and I guess I find humor in a great many things. I know he wouldn't want me to be sad. He's much happier in the heavens being able to know I remember the funny times with him. JMO

I don't find TA's death funny at all. What I find hysterical is JA's attempt to make anyone believe her lies. As I pointed out before she's like the pathological liar character John Lovitz played on SNL. Both of them made/make up and changed lies on the run and expected people to believe them.

The 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 comment is particularly funny to me because it came from a juror who's got her number. The part of my video that shows the shell casing is taken at a humorous stance because, again, it's showing Jodi's ability to lie in the face of indisputable evidence. If she says it's nighttime I'd run to the window to check.

 I admire your seriousness about the murder and refusing to find anything funny because that's a valid way to look at it. I also think that making fun of the audacity of her lies is another way to look at it. JMO

66): Why is it that you have no memory of stabbing Travis?
A: I can't really explain why my mind did what it did. Maybe because it's too horrible, I really don't know why I blacked out or have memory gaps much of the day.

67): Whether you had plans to commit suicide or not, why even mention no jury will ever convict me mark my words, I am innocent in the interview?
A: I was very confident that no jury would convict because I was going to be dead. As far as saying I was innocent, definitely innocent of my charge is what I meant, and also in the next life, where I believe that God is the ultimate judge that he will understand the circumstances of that day and that it would ultimately that he would be, he would know all the circumstances that happened that day, so in that innocent of the charge, but that there wouldn't be a conviction because you don't convict a dead person, I would be in the grave at that point.

68): In your interviews you gave on T.V., were you forced to answer all of the questions they asked you?
A: I was not physically forced, but when you're put on the spot if kind of feels like it, Like you kind of, but for some reason I felt like I had to answer every question, but I wasn't forced. If that makes sense.

69: You have pictures of your other finger injuries that include time-stamps, do you have any pictures of your finger injury with time-stamps?
A: I guess that would be the left finger? Um I didn't take a specific picture showing the injury, but any picture taken subsequent to June 22nd would show my ring finger bent whether it was like that one in the photo or anywhere else.

70: Do you have any pictures of you wearing a finger splint?
A: no, definitely not

71: Did anyone see you wearing a finger splint?
A: I wore it one day at, when I was working at Mimi's Cafe, but I don't know if anyone commented it on it or not, so it was kind of embarrassing
M: Objection
J: Sustained

72: When did you realize that you had memory loss? The approximate date?
A: Um, if that's a reference to June 4th, um when I'd been pulled over in the car and I began searching around for the water, for the shoes, just trying to clean myself up and that kind of thing, I can attribute it to being maybe, I mean I had memory loss one time when I was 19 because it was alcohol related and one time when I was 15 and it was alcohol related so that's the only other thing I can attribute it to,um just like a black out, so that was when I, shortly thereafter was when I couldn't remember things, certain things, um some things have come back to me since, but just not all of it.

73: Did you have an attorney prior to the interview with CBS
A: Um, not for my case, I had an attorney for the limited purpose of assisting me in my extradition
M: Objection
J: Sustained, yes or no?
A: Of sort of, I guess

74:You said you got the two gas cans so you that you could fill up in Nevada or Utah where gas was cheaper than California. Why did you fill the gas cans up in Pasadena?
A: Yes, that's why I initially got the gas cans from Daryl, so I could save money, that kind of thing. I'm a coupon clipper, that kind of person, but when I got to southern California and realized I'm taking I-I15 across two and a half states, um I've never driving this before, it's the middle of the night, I'm by myself and I'm in a car that I'm not familiar with, I didn't want to be stuck in the dark somewhere in the desert, I've heard lots of horror stories and I wanted to make sure I wasn't stranded.

75)In all of the three hour church sessions, family home evenings, missionary discussions and other church events, you were never told or were never under the impression that other forms of intercourse, oral and anal, were forbidden?
A: I did get that impression on a few occasions and I discussed it with Travis and he clarified it for me in his way
M: Objection, relevance
J: Sustained, is the answer yes
A: Um, somewhat yes, but it wasn't clear

76) Did you know that Travis did not like John Dixon prior to your date with John Dixon?
A: Prior to my first date with him, no I didn't even know, I don't think he even knew John Dixon, maybe had seen him through Prepaid Legal, but prior to that date, no, and I'm talking about before Travis and I became boyfriend/girlfriend as far as the date that occurred after we broke up, I knew that he didn't care for John Dixon

77)Why were you willing to get involved with two men at the same time?
A: Well, I was trying to get, it was very difficult to break away from Travis, I knew we were going in separate directions but we kept continuing with the same habits that we had and I said before that that I'm monogamous and by that I do mean sexually monogamous for sure, never had more than one partner at the same time in that regard, so as far as Ryan, he was just a potential person that I wanted to get to know and if things had gone further then I definitely would have cut off that sort of contact with Travis.

78)When you were asked about the video you made with Travis having sex on June 4, 2008 you said you used your camera but when you were asked about your camera later, you said you didn't take it out of the car that day. Which of these two is true?
A: For clarification, both is true, both are true. The Canon stayed in the vehicle and my Olympus was tiny and was always in my purse. So, and the Olympus the Stylus 500 and it had video on it, the Canon did not.

79)When you realized that you did not connect as expected, why did you continue to speak to Travis?
A: I think that's a reference to Ehrenberg because we weren't connecting the way we had before. Travis and I connected very well over the phone, it seemed like it was more of an emotional and mental connection, a meeting of minds so to speak, and I was not going to contact him again after three failed attempts over the weekend and then I didn't hear from him. So when he called me Tuesday, and left me a very sweet voice mail, it kinda was a feeling of relief like oh, okay, I wasn't just being used, he still cares, so I called back and he was somewhat remorseful that we had gone that long without talking and we agreed to not do that again. Going that long without communication.

That means she couldn't really see that supposed pic that she says was a
little boy wearing underwear. Destroy an man's entire reputation on faulty info. :furious: The Devil
only knows how she was able to look through a window and spot a bra being resnapped.

ATTN EYE DOCTORS IF THERE AR ANY OUT HERE:

My RX in my best eye is -4.25

I can't find my glasses if I take them off. I have to squat/squint/feel around for them.

Q: How bad would her vision be with her stated RX??

If anyone else has same RX as her or close, that will work for an answer..THANKS!

No lectures. Just legitimate reactions. I thought it was interesting to view what the adults on this site think is humorous through the eyes of a young person who's watching the trial machinations from a distance. Interesting thing was, she usually disagrees with me on general principal due to her age, so I was completely expecting her to think that video was hilarious (I didn't share my view of it before hand as we watched it together).

Also, she thinks Jodi's guilty as he** and STILL doesn't find the video and the 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 references funny.

Eh, I wouldn't think too deeply about what a 14 year old says about adult humor and discussion.

I thought the video was somewhat amusing, and I actually did laugh out loud when the "🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬" question was asked - not because I think the trial is anything to laugh about, but because I was not expecting it at all, and the question struck me as a juror's total frustration at Jodi.

ETA: I will be the first to admit that I have a dark sense of humor, maybe not so mainstream.

Going as far back as the "48 Hours" interview, I noticed that Jodi gets touchy when the subject of Cancun comes up. She's verrrry defensive about the subject.

The few times Cancun has come up in the trial, I've seen these tiny dimple-dents suddenly appear above her eyebrows. They are signs of tension about discussing a sore-spot. And she always has an annoyed undertone, where normally she's so cool and breezy.

Cancun is really tough for her to talk about, yet I no longer think it was her ultimate trigger. I think Cancun was the painful writing on the wall. But when he wrote that she was a sociopath who'd scammed him etc. -- and then probably didn't answer her calls anymore -- those were the insults that sealed Travis' fate.

ITA with your reasoning. I have a strong desire for Juan, or anyjuan (he he) to "poke the tiger" so to speak, and really badger her about Mimi, Cancun, The Sociopath Text, Jealousy, and not being "Marriage Material" to Travis. I think her head would explode.

Also, when any of these subjects is mentioned, she always qualifies it with "we were both jealous", or "we both had trust issues" or "it was mutual". No, it clearly, clearly was not. He was over her, or really trying to be, and she was "so completely in love with Travis Victor Alexander that she just didn't know any other way to be".

Poke that tiger.

Could Travis have said "babysitter" tongue in cheek meaning he wanted her to have his children ???

I will put razor blades in my ears the next time I hear that song. I WILL! :banghead:

You know what upset me? Last night, I can't remember what show - It was either Nancy Grace or Dr. Drew, but while they were replaying an interview that Tanisha and did - they had a split screen and audio of Jodi singing that dang song! You could barely hear over it to hear Tanisha!! It was really disrespectful of the producer to do that. I'm still mad about it tonight.

UGH. Your post used your kid to get our what your post couldn't say. ICK.

On that note. :bedtime:

No, I could say it. But it would be dismissed because I don't lurve Juan lol. But I didn't GET her to say it for that reason. She wanted to see the video and the thread about it, strongly, so I let her. Her opinion was all legit hers. I put it here only because I thought it was apropos. I was surprised that she would be like minded about anything I think, since she rarely is these days. The fact that she independently concluded that the whole "🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬" think was absurd for a bunch of adults to be joking about was "edifying" to me lol

I read this 3 times and thought it said ...🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 in her death row cell. :floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Well, to be hyper-literal, it is correct as well.
