I think of all the comments that I have taken affront to in my life and 99% were misinterpreted by me. Were the words a poor choice had they been meant for millions to hear? Yes. But that was never his intent. If you replace "sound" with "squeal" or and other verb you choose, you can perhaps see that there was no REAL comparison to an actual child having an orgasm. Human Sexuality is a taboo subject and many people have personal hangups with it. So- Jodi used it to her advantage for a defense. In actuality, imo, they had a rather healthy sexual relationship. What they did behind closed doors, what they explored sexually together> on the porch, in the forest, phone sex, maid costumes, and finally pop rocks and tootsie pops can just as well reflect great compatability sexually. Phone sex and fantasy sex is practised by THOUSANDS of people. It is not dirty. Their SEXual experiences do not deem travis as "well, he was not a saint", or "he was no angel" So , if anyone with sexual hangups can take sex out of the equation, then YES - you will see Travis was pretty much a saint, and Jodi > the devil.

Jodi tends to twist stories around to make it her own, she's mirrors emotions and she projects a lot onto others. She's the photographer that was taking pics of kids/babies, wasn't she? Just like there are female sociopaths (good read: Glenn Sacks blog, Venus:The Dark Side)...I'm sure there are females thinking ill thoughts or worse of children.
I heard/read Travis' friends say it was HER they didn't want around their kids, not him.

At times I think he was but for the most part (my hubby excluded) men are creeps. I don't however think he physically abused her though, mentally YES!

He was not a saint by any means!! But again very few people are, the majority are not. What she did has no validation regardless if he beat her every single time they saw each other. She did have on many occasions the option of completely eradicating him from her life. I have done that to many men, it's easy... block numbers, change emails, throw away any crap that reminds you of him and get counseling on ways to move forward. She did none of that.... none.

This is exactly it. There's something that does happen to a person (not excusing their comments) when they are abused by parents or spouses, or significant others. This trauma, this feeling toward others is magnified and makes it difficult if not impossible to be able to sort through verbal gaffs (with innocent origin) from things said by authentic disturbed people. To some abuse victims, everyone is an abuser around them, people are amplified and they can no longer judge the real from the not so real. then you have the other half of the abused population that lived it and experienced it so they happen to be really keen when they see things they know are not authentic. They can tell real abuse pretty easily.

My dad has a hearing problem so I've always been a hand talker. I notice JA also talks with her hands... not that I want to have anything in common with that monster... But, I've noticed when she is talking about the alleged violence she doesn't use her hands to describe what was going on. For example, she doesn't put her hands around her neck while saying he strangled her, and so on.

Also, I think it's WORSE for her that she didn't get paid for her tv interviews. It shows she just wanted to be on tv for the "glamour" of it.

And, I hope the jury notices how calm she is. I told my husband last night if I was in her seat... which I never would be... But, if I was I would be shaking, sweating, my voice would be quivering, and so on. She is cool as a cucumber.

As I said in my first post, I was emotionally abused by a long term boyfriend. I know JA was the abuser because she talks exactly the same way he would. She plays word games and is arrogant and has the guts to talk back to men in authority. No way. When you are emotionally abused you are so scared you jumble your words and can't think straight.

The gun... REALLY? She stated Travis told her it wasn't loaded. If she thought that than why in the world would she think an unloaded gun would stop a violent out of control abuser? He would have just laughed at her!

One more thing and then I promise I'm done. Travis is a lot like my husband. Everything is in place and very organized. So, if he is so neat and organized why would he just haphazardly put his alleged gun on top if his closet. No way. It would be locked in a case.
