I just feel like the coverage of this case is so black in white, painting Travis as a saint and Jodi as the devil itself.

To be clear: I believe that Jodi Arias should be locked up forever and have the key thrown away. Travis Alexander did not deserve to die, he did not deserve to be stalked. She mutilated him. I find it incredibly hard to believe that she killed him in self-defense.

But I do believe that Jodi is telling the truth about his pedophilia and abuse, based on the evidence. Just because he was also attracted to full-grown women does not make him less of a pedophile. The victim was obviously not some kind of angel or saint. Can we stop portraying him as one? It is demeaning to abuse victims everywhere to minimize the danger of pedophilia.

Is there any room for someone with my opinion on this forum? Everyone is baying for blood

Jodi's defense in this case is that she was abused by Travis. It is not about his sexual needs or proclivities in those sexual needs. As horrific pedophilia is, it is not the reason for her defense in this trial yet she chooses to do everything in her power to make the victim one. Why? Because she has nothing. People on here and from the other places I have visited and read are tired of the current trend in which defense attorneys and their clients trashing the victim because they have nothing else and they can get away with it. According to the Mormon church he isn't a saint, to a great many he is just a normal male. She was wronged according to her, so what, pretty much everyone feels that they are victims of that. There has been no reason thus far to prove he deserved the death he got. There is plenty to prove she deserves the death she might get.

I recently read a blog written in June of 2008 from a friend of his which states:
Oh man, remember that time you commented on the guy's picture in Jack-in-the-Box because he looked like a child molestor? And then we found out the guy had passed away and the plaque was in memory of him. Foot in mouth moment Travis. You had tons of those.

Even though it pedophilia is not her defense and doesn't matter one iota in this case I wanted to point out this written word to show why I don't think he was one. He doesn't seem to be what she claims so people have the need to push back so hard to defend him themselves, since he is not here to defend himself, in which may come off as making him a saint. It is the nature of the beast. Because of her actions, lies and portrayal of herself as a saint yes, it makes me bay for blood as you put it.

The comment about the 12 year old does not disgust me. What stood out was what he said about her having her first orgasm. I am 53 years old and I know that it has been fairly common knowledge that a lot of men are turned on by the thought or fantasy of being a girl's 'first'. Virgins are seen as hot. I think the 12 year old comment was based on today's current society. Fifty or sixty years ago he may have said a 16 year old or a 17 year old.
I don't believe for a minute he was a pedophile. I'm a fiercely protective Mom and Grand Mom. I defend all children. I think that comment has to be seen in a different light. It was more about the first orgasm, not the age of the girl. JMO

Ok, I'm jumpin in now. Can't catch up. I think I may try listening to more trial and posting less today. I missed too much after the 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 comment yesterday due to laughing and posting.

BTW, Here's a video I made from yesterday's testimony;

So as of yesterday, she doesn't remember if the gun was in a holster or not. REALLY?? I do realize she has to say that to try to erase her crazy blurting-out about the holster the day before. But c'mon, you're terrified for your life and going for a gun, and you don't remember if you had to fumble it out of a holster?

I still tend to think Travis may actually have been pursuing her - because she had already stabbed him and he was trying to stop her. She maybe even really had stashed the gun in the closet and had time to get it so tidily because poor Travis was brutally incapacitated.

Also last night I listened again to all the questions and answers. The one that jumped out extra hard was something like, Why did you finally come clean? And her answer was so blatantly All About Jodi. She felt bad about realizing that she had committed violence, which she'd always scorned, blah blah blah. She wasn't the kind of person she had always considered herself to be. And on and on. Not ONE word about remorse over Travis being dead. It was all about how she'd made herself look. I mean, I know we all know she is a narcisstic but it really, truly hit me like a linebacker last night. NO emotions except for herself. NONE.

Bingo! It's as though Travis isn't even an issue in her mind. This is ALL ABOUT HER. She is not sorry, at all, except for the impact to herself. She feels completely justified and feels she should be put on a pedestal to be worshiped for being the epitome of an altruistic victim.

I wish the Judge would let the public know what the court schedule is so we wont be so confused. Judge Perry used to do that.

I do like how this Judge reads out the questions to JA.

BBM- Her deadpan delivery about the "understanding of the word '🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬'" was :floorlaugh:

That question will outlive us all, I swear.

Audio being tested. Still have the seal though.

Won't we have to wait until the new juror questions are gone through by the attys before they read them in court to the defendant?

The two best questions for JA, IMO, I've read from previous posts in this thread:

1. If your eyesight was so bad that you couldn't identify a license plate from a few feet away how could you have seen what you say was a photo of a young boy on a piece of paper laying on Travis' floor?

2. If you thought Travis was a pedophile and were so sickened by that you vomited, why would you encourage him-repeatedly-by dressing up in school girl uniforms and wearing spidey underwear?

Yes, no trial Friday, Monday or Tuesday.

Smelly, could you tell me where you found the schedule, I've been checking the court website and it only goes up to 3/6/12.
Thanks,
Terri

And no one is buying that you weren't jealous over Cancun, Jodi!! NO ONE.
Actually, I might, but only because I don't think she experiences the same emotions as others. Someone made a comment recently about not anthropomorphizing sociopaths. Who knows how she experienced receiving that information, but I'll venture a guess. A cold blooded and determined, "Oh, no you won't." And that might be followed by a frenzy of concocting methods to ensure that she would remain in control of her fantasized version of Travis as an extension of herself. Not sure if I'm getting my point across well, but I hope you get the gist.

I'm having a new couch delivered tomorrow, replacing the one that's 25 - 30 years old. Had my boys take the old one to the curb for trash pickup. What was underneath there was . . . well, it looked like Jodi's soul. If she had one.

My dog has now lost his regular perch. He's trying to push me out of my chair. But I am not giving it up! I intend to be here for another great day!

I just caught something I'd previously missed. JA says she wanted to commit suicide in whatever area and was leaving for that place on the day she was arrested. So she's saying she was arrested the day she wanted to kill herself. Oh boy!

An astute poster on the previous thread wondered why she would take the time to "memorialize" her beloved Travis t-shirt and shorts on the day she intended to kill herself and wouldn't be around to remember.
