beatify? deify?

what was the one she used when she was trying to describe her mindset... i-dee-a-rize? i-dear-a-fy?

i-fog-ify?

Do you all think she will use one of the jury questions against them..

When they asked her did she shake when JM was cross examination on her ?

Will she fake "shaking"? to get sympothy?

What I remember about the questioning of Mzzzzzz. Arias by JM was that she was blatantly combative and held her own very well.

squire (skwr)
n.
1. A man who attends or escorts a woman; a gallant.
2. An English country gentleman, especially the chief landowner in a district.
3. A judge or another local dignitary.
4. A young nobleman attendant upon a knight and ranked next below a knight in feudal hierarchy. :waitasec:

You can borrow my horse if it makes you feel like a true Squire! :floorlaugh:

Nurmi must think this is his one shot at national recognition so he's hoping for more rapists and diddlers to defend. Sick dude.

Not if they see him live in this trial. I have always wondered if Jose Biaz has had another client since Casey?

Letting her ramble. Ramble on. Everytime Vinnie or Jean talks about Curt Nurmi, I think they are saying "Bert and Ernie."

Seriously, I do feel kinda bad for the situation Nurmi's in....Surely he's got at least one lawyer friend in the U.S. who'll call him at lunchtime and say "hang it up man, you gotta take a different direction - this ain't even close!"

Arias is probably turning the defense team's strategy into a mess like most psychopaths do because of their control issues.

instead of being focused on desserts. This jury has been subjected to something so horrid, her days & days of testimony, and yet they are hanging in there. Their questions do tend to show me that the jig is up as far as her tales of woe go.

I can't imagine Nurmi is feeling good about all those days of direct. But I suspect JA may have dictated that. He should have warned her. Honestly, it almost is incompetent counsel to allow her to get up on that stand for days on end reciting her pathetic life and boyfriend stories to a jury in a gruesome murder trial. Worst. Defense. Ever.
I have a feeling Jodi was insistent on taking the stand believing she could manipulate the jury into believing her story.

Most psychopaths are further (unknowingly) enabled by their loved ones. Instead of being held accountable for their actions people dismiss or discount them. Dealing with one can be exhausting, terrifying, and very confusing.

I think this is very likely the first time Jodi has been called to task for her actions, and because manipulating and lying has always gotten her out of trouble or gotten her what she wanted before, she likely believed this time would be no different.

She can't see, of course, that people who love you are a lot more tolerant and forgiving, therefore easier to manipulate, than 18 strangers.

Please correct me if I am wrong because I not seen all of yesterday or todays's trial.
Didn't the Beast say that Travis threatened her after she shot him in the face?
If someone shot me in the face and I could talk and move around , I would probably threaten the shooter too. I don't think too many people really like getting shot in the face.

Agreed. Call me what you will, but I think getting shot in the face would piss me off pretty good.

Question: How did you manage to hold onto the gun and shoot Travis in the head, no less, while you were shaking frantically??

Question: And how on earth were you able to hang on to that knife while plunging 29 stabs into Travis if you were shaking like a chihuahua??

I thought the same thing. Once it's done, GAME OVER.

I was thinking the same thing. She said they sat in her car and talked and cried and the relationship was over and then the next day she sends him a LONG email about the relationship! What was left to say?!!! Can you say STALKER?!!! :what:

Would somebody kindly private message me and de-edify me as to what Jodi said when asked:
1. What happened to her suicide letters to her grammers; and
2. What did Jodi say about 'kissing in fog' - did Jodi say she was in fog but with memory loss, or in fog and no memory loss?

Wonder if JM wanted to object to the question 'did Mr. Martinez make you shake' I can only imagine how JM will get grief from his co-workers and pals.

Oh Juan .....you make me shake!!!!

erhm, I wouldn't.
I'd be trying to get myself help! And I wouldn't want to piss of someone with a gun who had just shot me!! :truce:

OH yes the ninja story .. do you in fact recall him doing any of these things. They're onto the fact there's more truth in the ninja story than this one.
Every time I hear her talk about him grabbing at her clothes or being on all fours it makes me feel sick and sad. I think those are both actually things that happened.

:silly::drama::computer::coffeeup::dj::princess:

These questions...are good ones however she is a slick talker.
As I have heard a saying it goes:
"She could sell ICE to an Eskimo"
no offense to any Eskimo people but hey, she is one slick and fast with her replies.
She does not remember stabbing and slitting an innocent defenseless showering man's throat?:furious:

Yes, she replies. But she doesn't answer the question. That's what's so funny. A lot of these questions have been asked before. The jurors keep hoping she'll actually answer instead of what kind of groceries she bought for her ex-boyfriend. It's truly amazing that she can't figure that out.

I think Nurmi is playing to the Law of Making a Non Suicidal Person want to Jump off the Nearest Bridge.

Ok now I"m really showering and headed up there.

Be safe, and tell us all about it on the Observers Thread!
