I think it says on the receipts that 2 out of 3 are for gas, but the 3rd receipt is no where to be found.

the bank can and may checked the records and can trace that third item back to the gas station the records would show gas, food or sundries. the gas station has to account for their inventory against receipts. it's like if you dispute a charge the bank will send you details based on that purchase. imo it's easy to trace. :moo:

It does seem incredible that with all the forensics and digital evidence -- including 8,000 emails and 15,000 text messages and Lord knows how many photographs -- we have seen next to nothing from their computers and storage devices.

True, she did mention priceline for finding the car rental. But there was a notation just above for Budget Rental for over 200 bucks.

dh (a former physician medical examiner) says a 22 or 25 cal. handgun are chosen assassination weapons for brain taps. The bullets bounce around in the brain instead of exiting. This causes massive damage. (It is extremely unlikely that Travis talked after being shot.)

My DH was shot in the head at the age of 14,in 1973.He was shot with a 22 but the bullet was very old so as soon as it went thru his skull it shattered,he still has fragments in his head.He was very lucky he was in the hospital for 1 week,never given any therapy.He was standing when he was shot and it threw him back against a wall a few feet away,He passed out within 15 minutes while he waited for the ambulance.We all tease him that he is so thick headed it saved his life.He had a titanium plate put in which can be seen in Xrays and the fragments look like fire works.

I noticed this remarkable change in phraseology today. I took it to mean that when she shot Travis in the head he fell towards her on his way to hitting the floor, never to stand again -- and she interpreted that as Travis wrestling with her and trying to kill her.

my mom asked me if anyone thought it was strange jodi said the desert was so hot, yet she carried gas cans in a hot car that could explode. since i live in fl i had to admit we have had gas cans in our van in case of emergency and its very hot at times. same as i leave a gas can outside by lawn mower in heat.. yes i guess i never considered it being too hot, mom watched trial and cnn and nancy grace and shes out state from me. shes an expert on the cases . i like talking of the cases to her on phone, i call and say can you believe what she just said? then we talk about cases - mom has no computer or she would be here too-lol.

A 22 calibur bullet is more powerfull than a 25 calibur bullet and it is true that a 22 cal will penetrate the skull easier and in a lot of cases will bounce around in the skull.
A 25 cal has much less penetration power than a 22 cal bullet and is less likely to do as much damage as the 22.

That being said my wife was for many years a neuro( brian surgeon ) and I just asked her if she thought a 25 cal bullet traveling from the right eye brow nicking the frontal lobe and lodging in the cheek if it was possible that a person could still yell or anything and she said yes it was possible but not for a long time.
She also said that the fact there was little to no bleeding in frontal lobe in the skull cavity where the path of the bullet traveled would be a sure sign of been shot after the throat was cut.
So take it for what it's worth.
My wife also said that although doing hundreds of brain operations she had operated on very few gun shot wounds.

And I'm not convinced her denying being in SLC is intentional. She has no clue where she is, she admits being in Sandy, then Jordan where Ryan lives. She has to then go up then left to head through Nevada to get home to California. She does that by driving barely through SLC.. a bit, she probably didn't even realize that...

She is enigmatic.. I don't see the point of her lying about being in SLC since the receipts were already entered into evidence but she I think her default with Juan is to instantly deny or bicker about things, particularly when she knows there is something she is trying to hide in regards to the situation. In this situation, I believe she knew she was hiding the 3rd transaction and that it was with the 3rd gas can she claims she didn't have so she just whips out defensively she wasn't in SLC... But if you look at the SLC gas receipt, the address is 1699 West North Temple .. Here it is on a map, IMO it is pretty much right on top of SLC.. But I have never been to SLC I don't know what signs would have indicated and whatnot

Yes, they did get the visitor records sealed. I don't know that it means they can't access the recorded jail phone calls though.
