Oh. My. God. I have been in a meeting ALL day today but just heard on the radio that Jodi Arias says she only lied to cover up her involvement in Travis's death?? :floorlaugh: Seriously? Did that really happen? Does she understand she's telling the jury through that answer that they should NOT believe her because she's STILL covering up her involvement in Travis's death??

Girl, I can't wait for you to view all the testimony today! You will be thrilled with ALL of the jury questions and JA's answer. The girl proved today that she is definitely not human - but a psychopath!

This has always bugged me throughout the trial. Why does she drink her water like this? I've tried it, and it's uncomfortable to me, and well.....it just looks odd. I think she's the only person I've seen that does this. Anyone else?

It's due to her permanent disability i.e. the bent finger! LOL

I love how she cannot even ANSWER the question from him:

Maam, remember taking the oath to tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth?

Jodi: yes, to the best of my ability

LOL your ability? when you are able, yes, but when you are not able to, then no?

Dr. Drew show discussing the ninja story and showing video of Travis telling that story to his group of friends with JA's head laying on him seemingly dosing.

TH discussing the fact that the ninja story was literally plucked from the story TA told in her presence long before the murder.

Kaiser Soche reference to The Usual Suspects movie.

Discussing her mirroring.

I usually avoid Dr. Drew but I am enjoying this episode. Their breakdown of JA and her responses in court today as compared to previous days is what we have been saying almost verbatim, lol.

Well, isn't that......... convenient??!!

That back/forth video that DD just put up is PERFECT!!

She took Travis' story and wove it into her 2 ninjas story! Juan has to use something similar to this...it is so effective!

:rocker:

I had to log back on to say that Dr. Drew and the TH on his show are KILLING it right now. Crushing it. Their analysis of today's court action and JA in general are SPOT on.

Still have a bit of an adrenalin high going on after today's strong finish with the testiphony :)

Yes! Dr Drew obtained a video from friends of Travis, where he is talking about being mugged. He describes what happened in detail, the gun placed to his head, his having to kneel while this was going on -his fear and reactions - then they showed Jodi's 48hrs interview where she describes what happened that day ( no sign of fog then) in detail - trouble is she has lifted Travis' story almost verbatim.
I hope someone on their staff can get this video to JM.

I have a question - wouldn't it be impossible to Travis to speak after the gun shot wound in his head that ended up in his check? I mean the words that JA alleges he said. Or would he only be able to maybe scream and moan.

I'd say highly unlikely. The blast of kinetic energy to his brain would have at least dazed and confused him.

God bless you for giving love to the kids you work with. As a mother, you will love your child regardless. Being a mother is such a hard job - motherhood is filled with challenges under the best circumstances. A Mother's work ends when she takes her last breath.

Arias reminds me of the type of person M. Scott Peck describes in his book "People of The Lie." To me, Arias seems like a lost cause. I do not think that society would be safe with Arias. I have not seen in Arias any indication that she understands the devastation that she has caused - I do not think that Arias lied because she didn't want to get caught. I think that Arias lied because she did not think that she was a murderer.

My hope for you is that you are always kept safe.

Thank you for sharing - it sounds as though you can offer unique insight into Arias.

For all the kids I work with, there is a high need for control, no empathy, no conscience. Often, with my kids, that is the way it is. I got into this field because I adopted a child who has had extreme attachment issues. Due to years of helping my child, I have come to see first hand how hard it is to raise a child with these traits of no empathy and no conscience. If you can hang in there and be lovingly therapeutic and outlast the chaos, there is a point that you can get to with these children that the total look of all their bottled up shame comes up. They let down their guard for a few moments and you can see the darkness, anger, rage, and pain they carry. Almost a look of defeat.

I saw that look in Jodi today and, for me as a mom, it was the weirdest feeling. I honestly felt love. Today, when I saw the deflated look, I knew JA knew the jury wasn't buying it. She can tell her way hasn't worked. The shame - not of killing TA - but of how defective and different she is from everyone else has hit her. She knows she is different, fundamentally flawed, but, if she can keep up the act and others will believe the act, she feels on top of the world. When that starts to crack, it is a tremendous fall. For a younger child, it is a point of help. For JA, it is a point of realizing it has not worked.

Sharing alot here. But, I work with families all over the world who have adopted kids with the same issues. I go to court with them to get help. I hold their hands when their child beats them up. I help them deal with the no conscience or empathy. I help protect them when their children physically harm them. I love those families because they do the hardest job in the world. JA has highlighted why we do what we do.

When I saw her deflated look, I knew she knew it was over. Today, instead of dark eyes and the smile, I could see the dark eyes and fallen countenance. I saw the "child" that was stunted many many years ago. While she tries to come across as intelligent and is very sophisticated at the act, she seems to me to be emotionally stunted at a 12 year old level. Today, in her countenance, I could see "behind the curtain" of the wizard of Oz. The grand act came crashing down.I am not saying she will not try to regain the image. And, I am definitely not saying she will not lie. She has to lie to feel any control at all. She almost can't help it, even on stupid things. But, today, I could see and so recognized the look. I have seen it many times before. The moment she realized it was done. That the act hadn't worked and that people could see through the fake exterior. For her, that was crushing.

They are right on point on somethings but very wrong about Juan and always seem to be criticizing him. That I dont like and strongly disagree with Mark and the body language expert.

They dont understand why Juan leaves certain things hanging. By now they should know he brings things back up when the timing is right.

He has won more cases than any of them could ever dream of winning. I doubt Mark has even had a death penalty case while Juan is known as one of Arizona's finest death penalty Prosecutors.

IMO

again:
Tesoro - 1699 W North Temple Salt Lake City, UT 84116 - Find Tesoro gas station locations in Salt Lake ... Hours are 6 am Monday through Saturday until 1 am.

Can only buy gas at 3am

Thank you so much for finding this. It was driving me crazy. I didn't think it would be very wise to keep a gas station convenience store open 24hrs. Gas stations are at the top of the list of places involved in robbery/armed robbery.

I sure hope JM is armed with the information when JA tries the "I bought cheetos and beer" story.

Mormon attorney, a big hug to you. That couldn't have been easy to write. I appreciate your insights into JA and I hope you continue to share them.

For her to say that she doesn't honestly know if she would tell the truth if she hadn't gotten arrested - means that she, STILL to this day, has NO REMORSE for killing Travis.

dh (a former physician medical examiner) says a 22 or 25 cal. handgun are chosen assassination weapons for brain taps. The bullets bounce around in the brain instead of exiting. This causes massive damage. (It is extremely unlikely that Travis talked after being shot.)

lol @ JA's statement about her bleeding finger. quote" she had a BAZILLION margaritas to make".

:what:

Now we have to wait until the 13th for Juan? What am I gonna do!!!!!!

Maybe she needed to gas as an accellerant for the fire to burn up the bloody evidence in the desert?

Or Travis house up in smoke along with the evidence?
Oopsy tho she forgot about his dog Napolean.. hey but she sure did remember to put the gate up on the stairs Before she attacked Travis!
(wish Juan somehow could tighten that noose)

Been wondering.. did Naps scratch and/or bite at her alleged other injuries, legs/ankles and feet? :waitasec:
