Just seems hypocritical to me - you've asked people to keep out the Anthony chat.
I take note of your viewpoint. But sacred cows are made for gouging.

everyone take a deep breath and please remember that one little rule we have here about attacking each other..

I didn't watch the p/c, but when you all say "kids", do you literally mean kids? If so, shouldn't they be in school right now?

Not really kids. One of them, I know, is 20. The others I'd guess to be close to the same age.

Ok, peeps. Gotta run to buy 4 (yes, FOUR) birthday presents for parties this weekend. Try not to start 3 more threads while I'm gone, k? I'll never catch up...

MWAH! See ya in a few.

The thread is moving so fast, I'll ask again :)

Did anyone happen to catch what national network show the family is giving an interview on? I'd like to try to find out so I can watch it! TIA

Regarding the wine incident, the media knew full well who he was before they publicly released the clip and ran with the story. Somewhat 'checkered' is not what they were eluding to either. They were making her sound positively horrid.

By the time the wine incident happened, family had already told local media they wouldn't be talking to them. If I had to guess, I would family might as well get used to local media putting things in the worst light for them. That's what happens when you cut out the local media.

Yeah but then you come up with the reverse situtation. A video gets out of Momma with a man in a grocery store buying wine. (Locals got that, not national) They can't go to Momma and say what's up, cause Momma isn't talking to them. They can't say this is Momma's brother without some type of positive confirmation. And Momma and I would guess Brother aren't talking. LE wasn't saying. So they have to run with what they had. Momma and "an unidentified man." Makes it look even worse. And it was already bad enough with Momma buying wine on the night her baby goes missing.

But, if the local media has been deliberately making the family look suspicious and implying things that are sheer unsubstantiated gossip, the the family may realize that whatever help they might be is not outweighed by the damage they are doing. In the first few days, the family had ONLY one concern - finding the baby. NOW they have two concerns - finding the baby and keeping themselves from being railroaded (assuming they are innocent). That becomes a total game-changer. They have to balance both of these issues carefully, and no matter what they do at least half of observers are going to disagree with it.

Local media shouldn't have ran it in the first place. They knew full well who she was with when they saw it. They have all been aware of who he is from day 1. He was here everyday supporting them. They only did it for them and their ratings.

I think I heard ABC, but I'm not positive on that.

early on the family made a "deal" with national media and cut off interviews with local media (it was basically after their first interviews with locals that it happened)... not sure there is one planned anytime soon with national media? I didn't catch that

They did NOT take the posters down here, anyway.

Sorry if someone's already said this (still catching up), but IIRC, a local reporter tweeted that a national reporter (not the family) hung a poster on a tree, filmed it, turned off the camera, and took down the poster.

These did earlier but i'm a little confused on the family saying they will only address "National" media. Doesn't "National" media get their feeds through the local affiliates?

If that's correct, that's just sick and sadistic. But lots of journalists today don't have any ethics. They just want to get their name out there so they can get a shot at getting national. It's terrible!
