The law does not provide that you get to go out into the night, stalk someone, confront them, put your hands on them, and provoke them - then when that person retaliates you can shoot them. DENIED. You are guilty of murder!

I do not believe a little bit of pot is a big deal either, but the fact that he had it on school grounds, and that both the parents and the lawyer lied about it in multiple interviews makes one wonder about how honest they are about other things.

What could any of them be lying about that involves this? None of them were there, and TM certainly can't lie about anything anymore.

Really who knows, just saw almost the exact same kind of article by a tv station in Missouri about the Lisa Irwin case.

Turned out the unnamed authority was someone hired by the family. We would never had known it if Jim Spellman the reporter for CNN hadn't posted on here who the unnamed person was.

We have no idea because as a juvenile if he had a record they keep it sealed.

Former NAACP leader C.L. Bryant is accusing Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton of “exploiting” the Trayvon Martin tragedy to “racially divide this country.”

“His family should be outraged at the fact that they’re using this child as the bait to inflame racial passions,” Rev. C.L. Bryant said in a Monday interview with The Daily Caller.

The conservative black pastor who was once the chapter president of the Garland, Texas NAACP called Jackson and Sharpton “race hustlers” and said they are “acting as though they are buzzards circling the carcass of this young boy.”

Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are using to make it racial in nature. I don't see this case as racial.

This is what I believe happened and I am only stating it as my opinion.

Trayvon walks into the complex (should be on video tape).

Zimmerman, the ever alert one, notices Trayvon.

***I have come to the conclusion, from the 911 transcripts, that everyone was suspicious to Zimmerman and it didn't take a lot to put him on edge. Yes, it appears that black kids were the main focus of his suspicions, but I believe there was a white or hispanic sprinkled in some of the calls. It is my opinion that he has not been a stable person for a long time***

Zimmerman, was going to find anything suspicious about Trayvon. Anything. He could have picked his nose and Zimmerman would have seen it as suspicious. So he follows Trayvon

I too have concerns that GZ was hyper vigilant, to the point where any unfamiliar looking teen, particularly an unfamiliar AA teen would appear suspicious to him. We must remember that young AA males were suspected as being behind the recent crime wave in the area. I too think GZ was looking for suspicious and so he saw it.

Trayvon notices Zimmerman following him.

Zimmerman notices Trayvon noticing him and it turns into: "Yeah, he's checking me out."

Zimmerman starts to slowly follow Trayvon in his car.

Trayvon runs/walks fast.

Zimmerman speeds up. Loses sight of Trayvon. Jumps out of his car.

Zimmerman now follows Trayon on foot. Trayvon thinks he's lost Zimmerman (the only mistake Trayvon made, imo)

Zimmerman walks in a fast pace to cut him off and they possibly come face to face

Trayvon asks "Why are you following me?

Zimmerman, while pulling the gun out of his waistband, asks Trayvon "What are you doing here?"

I agree all the way up to the GZ drawing his gun. I do not know that I have anything to tell me that happened or did not (keeping an open mind on exactly how and when the gun came into play but posted my own theory upthread).

Trayvon's instinct is to push Zimmerman. Zimmerman grabs Trayvon's shirt. The phone falls from his hands/or hoodie pocket. Goes dead. Trayvon swings around and punches Zimmerman. Zimmerman falls back. Hits his head. Trayvon jumps on top of Zimmerman and tries to wrestle the gun away from Zimmerman. Zimmerman gets the upper hand and shoots Trayvon.

Actually this is NOT an authorized release of information but a leak

In response to the recent article in the Orlando Sentinel, the information was not provided to the media through an authorized source at the Sanford Police Department, but possibly by a leak from within the department. The information in the article is consistent with the information provided to the State Attorney's office by the police department.

"We do not condone these unauthorized leaks of information," said City Manager, Norton Bonaparte, Jr. "Acting Chief Scott will be doing an internal investigation within the Sanford Police Department as this type of action compromises the integrity of the law enforcement agency which has pledged to uphold the law".

Mr. Bonaparte stated that disciplinary action including possible termination will be taken against anyone found to have leaked the information

What they are saying is that this is what Sanford PD believes, and what they put together using the little evidence that was gathered, and if it turns out to be the wrong story after other investigations then someone's head is going to roll....

It all goes to pointing towards that individual being a player in a certain lifestyle choice, yes. Whether it's relevant or not is unclear.

So, Zimmerman's "tats" point toward him being a player in a certain lifestyle choice as well? You can't have it both ways imo.

He obviously pulled it after he was attacked, I mean he didn't just see TM and pull it out as far as we know.

Do you think GZ was in fear for his life or in fear of a beating? There would be no Stand your Ground defense if GZ hadn't been carrying a gun. Therein lies the rub to me. He precipitated his Stand Your Ground claim by carrying a weapon in the first place. jmo:seeya:

I tend to agree with this gentleman and hope that cooler heads prevail and folks do not rise to the bait being offered by the Sharptons and Jacksons who will continue to pontificate and stir a very volatile pot to further their own agendas.
