My own thoughts in red

Yes, we also have to remember that it was Zimmerman's own wife who gave detectives a description of these AA suspects? So the question should be asked... did Mrs. Zimmerman witness the burglaries? Where are her 911 calls to report the burglaries in progress with the descriptions of the suspects? Or did they just happen to have a habit of blaming everything on AA teens?

I'm only bringing this up because he has spoken out in the media, but his one neighbor's son died from an apparent drug overdose. I would like to know when he did die, because he could have easily been responsible for the burglaries if he had a drug problem.

This claims that GZ states TM tried to take his gun from him.

http://abcnews.go.com/US/trayvon-martin-shooter-teenager-gun/story?id=16000239

There is no doubt to me that if Trayvon had gotten the gun that was pointed at him away from GZ and shot him, or if it had gone off during the scuffle, even though Trayvon would trully be defending himself from an aggressor he would be in jail, and probably go to prison. The reason that so many are outraged is that no charges were brought against GZ. I say, let a jury decide.

He obviously pulled it after he was attacked, I mean he didn't just see TM and pull it out as far as we know.

How is it obvious he pulled the gun out after the attack? I think it's just as obvious that the reason an altercation started in the first place was because Zimmerman had the gun out?

Pure speculation on your part. The evidence says otherwise.

that's the problem evidence does NOT say otherwise

The ONLY thing that says otherwise is Mr. Zimmerman, and it is not likely that he is going to give a story that says he tried to stop Martin from leaving, they got in a scuffle which he was getting the losing end of so he shot Martin...I mean really, he has every reason to LIE like a bear rug....why would anyone simply take his word for it?

His behavior before the shooting does not lead anyone to believe that he was only going to observe from a safe distance....

forensic evidence is needed here, IMO JMHO and stuff

Former NAACP leader accuses Sharpton and Jackson of ‘exploiting’ Trayvon Martin
http://dailycaller.com/2012/03/26/f...ton-and-jackson-of-exploiting-trayvon-martin/

Former NAACP leader C.L. Bryant is accusing Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton of “exploiting” the Trayvon Martin tragedy to “racially divide this country.”

“His family should be outraged at the fact that they’re using this child as the bait to inflame racial passions,” Rev. C.L. Bryant said in a Monday interview with The Daily Caller.

The conservative black pastor who was once the chapter president of the Garland, Texas NAACP called Jackson and Sharpton “race hustlers” and said they are “acting as though they are buzzards circling the carcass of this young boy.”

Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are using to make it racial in nature. I don't see this case as racial.

I agree they are using race to inflame people and also to raise millions of dollars for their cause(own pocket JMO).IMO Race has nothing to do with this at all.

Sharpton and Jackson do this all the time.

So, Zimmerman's "tats" point toward him being a player in a certain lifestyle choice as well? You can't have it both ways imo.

Also, good to know that my cute manatee tattoo points toward "being a player in a certain lifestyle choice". Huh...
I never said that a tattoo alone does. It all does. His appearance, his demeanor, everything.

Police also have witnesses.GZ was not a police LT son so IMO why risk their jobs for a nobody.JMO You are right that we need forensics released, they might shed a much needed light on this situation.

If that is even true, it is a cherry pick. What happened right before that?
Hmmm...

The law does not provide that you get to go out into the night, stalk someone, confront them, put your hands on them, and provoke them - then when that person retaliates you can shoot them. DENIED. You are guilty of murder!

jmo

All the evidence so far points to GZ's story being accurate. I doubt he's a criminal mastermind able to fool the police or convince them to cover for him.

Yes, as far as we know.....and we don't KNOW anything, all we can do is extropolate based on the behavior of the two participants and color it with our own experience of how humans behave....

I haven't forgotten but am trying to avoid the racism angle and simply examine the facts as I know them. GZ may well be racist. He may just as well not be. I just don't feel comfortable making that assertion til I have more to go on.

What I do know makes me suspect possible racism, but given how quick GZ himself was to decide TM was suspicious, I choose to extend to GZ the benefit of the doubt that he seems unable to have extended to TM that night.

A clear consistent story that does not change over 3 police interviews is admissible evidence. The state would need evidence to disprove Zimmerman's story...

Disagree. When he says "OK" to the 911 dispatcher after being advised not to follow, and his statement to the cops that he was back at his vehicle says otherwise.

Didn't take much convincing IMO, He was a known quantity, the neighborhood watch Captain who idolized them and wanted to be like them, and called and tried to help them any chance he got

On the ground was the 🤬🤬🤬🤬 black kid in a hoodie, undoubedly a part of the gang that was burglarizing the neighborhood, and according to Zimmerman a violent one who just viciously attacked him, you know high on drugs or something....IMO they didn't even make a pretense of investigating, figuring they would save their energy they knew what the deal was here so they just phoned it in IMO JMHO and stuff

How ironic as the NWP rules and guidelines promote "crime prevention" and what we ended up with is a crime that COULD have been prevented if only someone had followed those rules. jmo

Geraldo blamed the hoodie? Seriously? :what:

:waitasec:
