why is it necessary? Trayvon's suspensions, his hoodie, whether he had smoked marijuana before, are irrelavant to being murdered by an over zealous neighborhood watch person who was following him after being told not to by 911 dispatch

here. I'll keep following other cases where the victim is treated with respect and the killer is not supported. But this one has gone too far IMO.

Don't you want all the facts? These things have been confirmed by the family attorney and certainly paints things in a different light. Why is it depressing to learn that GZ may not be the devil he's painted to be?

We all know, or should, petty crimes lead to violent crimes. GZ has no felony convictions.

Trayvon has no juvenile record. Unless you have access to George Zimmerman's school records, then you're comparing apples and oranges IMO

How would you know this is not true? Who know what the father might have said after being told his son was dead. One does not act as though nothing happened upon hearing these words, your son has been killed. I know, I've been there.

I'm sorry you have had to live through the death of your child. Really sorry.

I'm just saying, Trayvon was killed before the game started that he was reported to have left during "halftime". The game hadn't even started. We don't know where he was all day.

The A's did it to keep people from using it. With all the going back and forth here between supporting on position or another the family just may not want to see t-shirts either for or against. I can't blame them. Their goal is not to divide people. I think we are doing a pretty good job of that ourselves. jmo

They'd do better to go home and wait for the Prosecutor's decision. There's no reason to hold rallies, passing around collection plates to hundreds right now. They aren't going to expedite the process. They are inciting violence and acting as if they are against it.

You're right, LE hasn't been involved with Trayvon although I count at least 3 times they would have been in my city. And that's just 3 times that are actually documented.

he does not have convictions, but there is ample evidence that he has been in a few altercations....one with LE and charged with violence against his GF

No one has yet claimed that TM ever was in a physical altercation, and graffiti to a school locker is not the same as beating someone...so as far as that goes neither one has convcitions, but both have some history, but only one has history with violence implied.

If that is the case, why was Trayvon Martin hitting George Zimmerman.

I do not believe anyone has said who called who, ie, did Martin first call his gf, or did she call him. I think the only info that has been verified by phone logs the two were connected.

He was already on the phone with his girlfriend. He didn't call her! He thought he had eluded Zimmerman. Unfortunately, Zimmerman caught up with him and it was too late.

Well if they show a mugshot of GZ, shouldn't they have shown the pics of TM with the tats, grill, sagging pants and flipping off the camera? Seems like that would be fair.

hate to break it to you, but those images would merely show tm for exactly what he was.....a teenage boy not unlike the millions of others in this country.

The question is when did he shoot him and how close was "within a close proximity". If TM was on top of him and there was a struggle it would be inches. If the distance were greater than a foot it doesn't sound like it happened the way GZ said it did. jmo
