Do we have actual confirmation of all these criminal acts? Forgive me, but this thread is moving so fast...I thought this came from an unnamed source...has this been printed in more than one msm article (as in not one copied from the original)? If the link was posted and I missed it, maybe I'm not the only one who would mind a link bump?
tia

I believe the lawyer and family spokesperson have confirmed most of it. The only thing they contested was the jewelry and screwdriver; they said that they weren't told about that. However, the report says it was handed over to Miami-Dade police, so that seems pretty easy to verify.

This case is confusing. it's all He said/He did this and I don't know what to believe anymore.

I try to stay away from this thread because I just cannot fathom that there are still people that believe what GZ did was in any way, shape or form justifiable.
Even if he was injured he was injured because he was following a scared kid for no reason whatsoever other than the kid wore a hoodie.
Are you guys serious? What right did he have to follow the kid and question the kid?

Can you point to the post where his drug screen came up negative? Since he was suspended for paraphanalia, I don't imagine his screen came up negative.

Which doesn't necessarily illuminate what exactly - besides skittles and tea - he was after that night.

That was in October of last year. I know there are a few people who have never smoked the stuff, me being one. But I know there are a zillon people out there, including those that attended college and probably more than half of all LE have tried it so unless he had something major on him, or in his system, I think we can kiss that subject goodbye because it means nothing and you can buy it anywhere. He didn't even have enough to get him arrested. jmo

Are there current pics of Trayvon ? The msm photos all seem to be from when he was younger than 17. --Sorry if they've been posted here, I've been reading through the threads on this subject and didn't see any yet.
My thoughts/opinions on this tragic case ( and they are worthless as I wasn't there when TM was shot ) is that George SHOULD have stayed in his vehicle and after being told by the dispatcher "...we don't need you to do that (follow TM) ..." ; and he should have listened to said dispatcher.
None of this would 've happened, then.
Although not being arrested (yet) or charged for the shooting, I don't think George Z. is going to come out of this unscathed. Most likely he'll spend the rest of his life 'looking over his shoulder' for anyone who wants to settle the score. Not a pleasant thought.
So many unanswered questions; like where is TM's ear piece phone , why did his family wait to call in a missing persons' report , and was the girl TM was talking to questioned ?
I'm sad at the waste of a life , and that LE may have dropped the ball on this one.

BBM

And there we have the power of the media.

And then what happens if the prosecutor that was hand picked by the governor doesn't file charges? Someone posted earlier that she said they're not leaning that way at the moment.

Would this then be a conspiracy to the highest levels of the Florida government?

You don't really think think the prosecutor hand picked by the governor is going to make a decision without speaking to George Zimmerman. The head of this investigation was interviewed by JVM and she stated they do not know where George Zimmerman is.

my bolding

Oh my

I was listening to Mark Nejame and he said that this "unauthorized, wink-wink- leak" was a CYA propaganda campaign by SPD and I have to say i agree with him.

I don't care how many times it's said that GZ's head was banged, bumped or bashed, the fact still remains that it doesn't show that GZ wasn't still the first aggressor. I don't care how many "thuggish" pictures get run, I don't care how many suspensions he had, the fact still remains that it doesn't show that GZ wasn't the first aggressor.

That's a fact that isn't going to change.

JMHO

And it doesn't show that legally GZ was the first aggressor. And therein lies the problem with this case. The only eye witness that I know of, has said that GZ was on the ground before the shot was fired. IMO, witnesses that have since come forward (but chose to not come forward the night of the shooting) saying GZ was standing over TM are describing the aftermath, not the shooting or what lead up to it. JMO, of course.

Are any of you watching Nancy Grace right now? Steve Helling said that he has spoke to 3 people that told him they came out of their house and they saw Zimmerman pinning Trayven face down into the sidewalk and that Travyon was screaming. They said that Zimmerman had no injury and he was not bleeding or showing any sign of injury. And at this point I believe Steve over the police because he reported on the Casey Anthony case and was never wrong. Steve also said it was not in the police report either that Zimmerman was injured.

Bombshell! I saw that too...

I'm not the one that said it... And that doesn't answer my question. TIA

Even if not on video, it's a gated community - he would have needed a card, or code, or remote to open the gate - should be a record of that. (not sure why it matters; we know Martin was an invited guest, and was inside the community.)
Good point! wonder if they had "cards" or was it just a punch-in code on a keypad. Either way - GZ could have asked Trayvon when he first walked up to him about having his gate card or knowing the code. But, then again, GZ should have identified himself as the neighborhood watch guy right up front.

Why is that? The prosecutor decided to let him go through a diversion program. It's not like he just magically got the charges dropped.

I never claimed GZ had magical powers.

Unless of course, you're talking about his magical ability to tell that a stranger in the distance is "on drugs" and "up to no good".

I don't watch Nancy Grace, so did he say who these witnesses were? Because it sounds a lot like Mary C's story, only Trayvon was already dead when she observed GZ standing on top of him.

He didn't have any right IMO

You're absolutely right there - and had he not attacked GZ, he would be alive today. GZ doesn't have to give up his life because he finds someone suspicious and calls the cops and follows the suspicious looking person. That's what this comes down to - GZ didn't just have to take it if he had a means to defend himself.

Please back this attack you claim as proven fact with msm links, or stop asserting it as fact. Thank you.

On Nancy Grace just now, "When did Trayvon lose his stand your ground right?" Excellent question!

The moment he attacked GZ imo

Well, to some it seems "ironic" that he did his time and met all of the requirements necessary to get the charges taken care of. I dunno.

  • #859
Maybe he went through a juvie version of pre trial diversion?

I don't know, but I'd bet you dollars to doughnuts that he stepped on the cracks in the sidewalk from time to time.

If we are only going to discuss "proven" facts we might as well stop discussing this right now.
