Why did you change the words COULD BE to WILL?

Additionally there had been a recent meeting at which residents had complained about Zimmerman's over bearing tactics and actions, and the HOA did not to our knowledge at least formally notify him to cease and desist in his activities. If they DID do that, then everything will be quite a different scenario.

JMO/IMO The Condo Board and Condo Owner's Association are in such hot water. They endorsed Z, but didn't enforce the most basic neighborhood watch rules. Z himself actually arranged the neighborhood watch organizational meeting, where "no weapons" was carefully explained to him. Unless he can convince a jury that a 9mm isn't a "weapon", he and the condo et all are out of luck.

So the neighborhood watch bologna is out the window.

What was he? At best, An armed volunteer security guard. He should have been insured and bonded, at a minimum. (And I bet the board didn't protect themselves and the owners by doing this.)
At worst, he was an armed volunteer vigilante.

And if the owners were complaining to the board, a responsible board would have been on the phone to their attorney immediately...and would have processed cease and desist, etc. If they did not, they again were endorsing Z's tactics.

I find it hard to believe that the police station where the demonstration is taking place is closed, for that reason. Does the law in that city have any control? What a joke!

It was just announced on MSNBC. Corey is going to make the decision herself. No Grand Jury needed.


They, however, did not say when this decision will be made or announced.

All I can say is she is one brave woman to shoulder the burden of making the decision on her own.

The headline has been changed to read: 'Sources to WFTV: George Zimmerman could be arrested this week"

And, in the body of the story: "Two sources told WFTV on Monday that gunman George Zimmerman could be arrested this week, ..."

And, of note: "The attorneys said if Zimmerman is charged, he will remain quite until everything is over."

Rush to publish, they need to be careful, lest they have an NBC moment.

BBM: This is where you are wrong on several points! 1- While not "friends" he had at least one 20 year old cousin in the area that he had already obtained permission from his father to go to the movies with. 2 - TM's father has stated numerous times that he tried to call TM but figured he was in the movie theater with his older cousin (whom dad thought would be a good influence on TM) so TM had his phone turned off - this is NOT "having no idea whatsoever" where his son was. 3 - Dad NEVER said he turned his phone OFF and went to bed he just said he went to bed before the time he thought TM would be home from the movies with his older cousin.

When TM's father woke up the next morning and realized that TM had never made it home from the movies with his older cousin is when he started making phone calls to find TM.

You are making assumptions that TM "was not supervised at all" using a lot of FALSE information.

I agree - everyone is getting their ducks in a row right now. I'm pretty glad they didn't bother with a Grand Jury. For one thing, it drags the witnesses through the mire while things are volatile, and some of them will talk to the media. This prosecutor has been all about keeping things quiet.

I think this means she sees this as a homicide, because in the past she has said she never used a GJ in a homicide. Therefore, that's a clue that an arrest is coming. It's just a matter of when.

The statute of limitations in Florida is 4 years for Manslaughter, no limit for murder.
