Indeed. IDGI. Why wouldn't they just ask the six students sitting peacefully at the door to move back a bit as to not obstruct the entrance. It hardly warrants shutting down, IMO.

Seconds count in any emergency. Irresponsible, IMO Then again, this is the SPD...

JMO

Maybe they were working with a skeleton crew due to Sunday being a normal day off for most and so they take the following Monday off?

BTW, yes I saw your post when I got up this morning. Go back to your post and you'll find that around 6:30 est this morning I made and posted a 14 second video snip of what BG said about "sitting on the porch". Your video is the first time I had actually heard it.

Listen and see what you think, but personally I took the porch comment as a poorly worded analogy on her part, IDK, but I don't think she actually meant he was shot on the porch.

This whole deal about where TM's body was located is frustrating the crap out of me. There are so many different statements out there that I'm in the process of downloading all of them into a "Volumes 1, 2, 3, & 4" sort of a deal on YouTube.

Here's Number 1 which has 2 snips from the original Fox 35 video that was on the link you posted. Watch it and see what you think. It's not very long.

I'll post the others tonight sometime.

I think what BG is saying, because she is very upset is. "He was on his way home, I'm living down here, he would of been on his back porch." jmo

I'm late to the gold teeth discussion, but in Tajikistan - gold teeth are considered a symbol of wealth?

There was some discussion a few threads back about BG's comment. It doesn't sound like she is saying that Trayvon was on the porch when he was shot. She's obviously upset and kind of rambling, talking about how Trayvon had simply been doing normal things while he was there, going to the store, sitting on her porch and now he is dead, as if to say he hadn't been doing anything while he was visiting her that warranted being shot, she can't believe he's gone.

JMHO

My mom still has a home phone - she has a cell phone too, but she never answers it - half the time she can't find it. LOL

My mother is 87, no cell and does not answer the home phone. I was in Virginia Beach when the plane crashed on Friday. Right on RT264 when they closed the highway because of the jet fuel and was hoping and praying she was not watching TV. She would have never answered the phone and I had no way to tell her I was okay. lol

Being one of the poorest countries in the world, toothpaste is probably considered a symbol of wealth.

I understand how one would think the deed owners might be sued, but they do not own the common grounds, they pay dues to the HOA in order to utilize the common grounds and they pay the HOA dues to maintain them. The homeowners in the community may, and likely will, bring suit against the HOA.

To get a better understanding of why the condo owners do not own common areas - when they sell their home, they are only selling the dwelling structure - nothing else - not the parking lots, the pool, the courtyards - just the dwelling.

LOL, poor choice of wording on my part. I live in a gated condo community. You are correct in that the HOA is but individual owners are not deeded owners per say of the common grounds. However, as owner's they will have a shared liability as members of the HOA. Most HOA documents allow for special assessments against special expenses. The HOA upon losing a civil suit would go after the owners for their share to be paid. IMO

I know a lot of people who have grills. All races. Men. Women. I've seen white women with diamonds drilled into their teeth? Platinum is the new popular thing though. Gold teeth are still very popular in Florida, but I've noticed that diamonds/platinum is the new thing other places?

Racial slur on sign targets Trayvon Martin
DETROIT -
Elaine Bonner says she can't believe.

"I feel violated by it," she said.

Bonner was driving westbound on Interstate 94 near Addison going into Dearborn at about 1 a.m. when she saw the sign.

An MDOT highway message board was lit up for all to see: "Trayvon A N*****."

Bonner called 911.

She wanted the hate message to come down and come down fast as Monday rush hour was approaching...

Well I think the ambulance video was a huge clue - but they gave two different addresses, one even further away from the "T" in the walk than the others. As fast as this happened, it's hard for me to believe they rolled around halfway down the courtyard. I'm now thinking the "cut through" was the cut through between the buildings. I'll have to look at the maps again. TY!

This is true and part of their HOA fees would be for insurance. I think the original idea about NWP was good in a sense that they intended to protect their property values by lowering their crime rate within the community. jmo

Yuk on the sign. I hope more crazies don't come crawling out of the woodwork.

I only know it works with my HOA. Any and all costs the HOA incurs is divided equally among the homeowners and they are, in turn, billed accordingly. This includes areas I don't own, such as common areas, parking lots, pool maintenance, etc. So I would assume if the HOA has to pay out a settlement which exceeds it's insurance policy limits that the homeowners will have to pick up the slack.

JMO, of course. I could be wrong. :)

They gave the addresses where the 911 calls were coming from. GZ never did give an address. jmo

Hey, ya'll ~ I'm trying to keep the Media thread updated today and there's a lot of breaking news.

It would really help if you could give a link when you quote something because otherwise I have to put the quote into google and try to backtrack to the article.

For Newbies: If you are on a website and want to post a link, go up to the browser address box, highlight the whole thing, right-click, choose Copy, come here to Websleuths and open a text box on the forum, right-click and paste.

If that doesn't work for you, just write the name of the source so we can find it. Thanks in advance! :)

But isn't there just a certain number of days left to arrest GZ ? It seems as though time is running out ???

There is no statue of limitations for a murder charge.

Geez, Idk abt this but hubby just said u need a grand jury in capitol cases. I have to go out and can't look this up, but does that mean there won't be a capitol type charges in this case? I don't even know what are considered capitol charges and hubby had to go back to work.
Sorry just wondering abt this and if hubby knows what he's talking about.

I'm in Texas, maybe that's why. I have a 27 year old daughter, her friends, residents, employees, vendors, etc., and I've never seen a grill on a white woman or young girls, and I notice teeth. I don't find them at all attractive, pretty white teeth are attractive, IMO. But then I don't get nose rings, so what do I know!

Your hubby is right, they were just talking about this not too long ago on CNN. I wouldn't think it would be a capital charge anyway. If they overcharge we end up with P-12, IMO
