Victor Ivan Ernesto Gamez Tesucun, 30, is accused of hiding in a 16-year-old girl's closet. After he was discovered shirtless in the teen's closet, he was arrested on eight counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a 16-year-old, one count of assault and one count of tampering with evidence.

The Purgatory Correctional Facility in Hurricane, Utah, confirmed to PEOPLE that he is on an immigration hold.
