So within 3 minutes of killing an unarmed teenager, instead of thinking "OMG I just KILLED someone!"....he is already thinking clearly enough to worry about covering his arse? Well, I do think he is cold blooded, you may be right.
I see what looks like GZ using a cell phone, and on the right of that, it looks like grey clothing and a hand. Like TM laying right below GZ's feet face down, with someone snapping a pic of GZ's head obviously. jmo

But according to the attorneys on HLN today, the state has now admitted they have NO EVIDENCE that GZ was the one who attacked first. That is a big problem, imo.
If that is the case, then it begs the question how this "witness" saw powder burns on TM, when TM was found on his back, yet shot in the chest. :waitasec:
BBM
I totally agree. That was huge, imo. And people here are playing it down, and focusing on the apology. which is meaningless overall.
I think he was absolutely worried. But do we know it was GZ who asked anyone to take that photo? he might not have even known it was being taken.
But if someone was there before LE, then the timeline is really messed up.It also appears in the pic that GZ is talking on a cell phone, you can see the top of the phone at his ear, and his arm is in this position, how can this be unless someone was there before LE ?

He can. But I don't have a link to back that up,:blushing:
I'm thinking the witness saw it when TM was rolled over to begin CPR?If that is the case, then it begs the question how this "witness" saw powder burns on TM, when TM was found on his back, yet shot in the chest. :waitasec:
The state didn't call any witnesses, so I'm not sure how they came to that conclusion?
That is what I thought??? But the new pic doesn't show any smearing. It looks too clean (can't find a better word) If this pic was taken before GZ was treated by EMS, Okay, but if they let him leave without so much as a bandage 30 so minutes later. And we have all watched the video where no gloves are needed?
Oh heck I dunno anymore. I just don't know. It looks hinky.
JMO/IMO
Maybe it's just my OJT time as a mother, but those marks don't look like scrapes from cement at all. Cement scrapes (even small ones) are wider and not precise like those little scrapes.
Now, could those marks be from a dying murder victim's fingernails?

But if someone was there before LE, then the timeline is really messed up.
911 shot with the gunshot on it began at 7:16:11 according to one of the timelines linked in a previous thread.
Shot fired at 44 seconds into the call or at 7:16:55
Officer Timothy Smith said he arrived at 7:17 according to the initial report.
Officer Ayalla arrived at 7:19 according to the initial report.
But the claim by ABC News in that story is that this photo was taken 3 minutes after the shooting? That would have been about 7:20 AFTER the arrivals of Smith and Ayalla.
Smith claimed he immediately placed GZ in custody.
Ayalla said when arrived GZ already in custody.
Photo shows GZ not cuffed, holding a cell phone to his ear?
Somebody is lying about the times! :maddening::banghead:
IMO, JMO, etc.
I am one of those people "playing it down."
Circumstantial evidence is very powerful. So while there may not be any direct evidence, the 911 call itself provides a solid avenue to explore whether or not he continued to follow.
Imo, because this witness has no idea if what he saw was actually 'powder burns.' It could have been lots of things.
The person recalled seeing Martin's prostrate body on the wet grass and said the gunpowder burns on Martin's gray hoodie were clearly visible.
All I can say is george should be thanking his lucky stars that he wasnt the one having his injuries documented by a coroner on that cold slab after making such a huge out of anger decision to follow an innocent minor who was walking home :banghead:
Of course, circumstantial can be powerful. But it also expects jurors to follow the dots and make assumptions. And when someone is on trial for LIFE in prison, they don't always like to make those assumptions.
Imo, the state should have gone with manslaughter.
