I believe that the two flashlights mentioned were a keychain flashlight and a six-inch flashlight. I'm not sure where this "on the belt" nonsense came from. I sometimes have my SureFire (it's a nasty 6" tacticool flashlight, too!) with me just for S&Gs.

Did you mean to say "found on his back?" It has been established that TM was indeed shot in the chest, and we learned today that it was at close range.
I meant to say found on his stomach, I'll go correct it.
It was a mistake in typing. Thanks

What was that about? Was it implied that GZ sent an email to Martin's father and he said no he doesn't remember?

No that he sent an email or text message ABOUT Trayvon's father and GZ shut up for a second then said he doesn't remember.

Wait what??? GZ had to have followed Trayvon to meet up with him and shoot him. We KNOW where the vehicle was and where Trayvon was shot and killed. The gun did not go up a sidewalk and around a building then shoot all by itself.

No he didnt. He may have been on the way back to his car and accidentally met up with him. Or he may have been on the way back to his car and TM followed and confronted him. We don't know what happened.

And apparently, according to the LEAD INVESTIGATOR, neither does the prosecution. They admitted it in court today.

Omara asked if there was ANY EVIDENCE to prove GZ wrong, that he was on the way back to his car, and Galbraith said NO, no evidence to disprove that.

I know a guy who wears a multitool on him wherever he goes, which includes a knife, screwdriver, etc. He also carries a flashlight, but I think it's on his keychain, not sure.

People carry strange things in their pockets.

BBM I thought screwdrivers were "burglary tools?" :floorlaugh:

To be fair, he could have said that, then given the guy the number and then the guy handed him the phone, after the wife demanded to talk to him. Then, he snaps the picture.

IMO, if Zimmerman was going to doctor a photo, he'd probably do a better job than this. He would make the injuries over the top exaggerated, as most of the statements attributed to him have been, thus far.

True.. and just for the record I never said the photo was doctored. I'll leave that for the experts :)
I was commenting on people saying he was cuffed (or not) at this time...

Oh, are we talking about those tiny flashlights on a key chain?Lots of men and women carry those all the time.

The investigator described one as being a "tactical" flashlight.

THIS I am very interested in seeing!! Like I really, really want to see this!! I want to see all his computer activity and cell phone activity. Didn't they even mention a text?

Well I don't carry a gun or a flashlight - even nasty little ones- or anything else. I don't feel the need to. I refuse to live in a frame of mind where I think "Oh, I'm going to get mik, better get my gun." To me...people let fear get to them wayyyyyyyyyy too much.

With about the same chilling effect as calling an EBR an "assault weapon".

It's all semantics. A "tactical flashlight" is nothing more than a super bright light with a tailcap switch. Usually able to fit into the palm of your hand. It might have a strike bezel, it might not. There's nothing inherently nefarious about them, and I find it funny that they're characterized as "tactical".

Would you testify in court, under oath, that not a single person shopping in Target had a flashlight on them? You can see into their pockets, or under shirts that cover up belts?

Maybe all the people that carry the small flashlights shop at Walmart. When shopping, I see them all the time.

I had to google that! :floorlaugh: There are all kinds of different "tactical" flashlights.

Wonder if they took photographs of them? As there are all kinds on google images.

And without. One can have their head slammed into the floor and not have open wounds. I know this because it happened to me.

I've never said that all head trauma doesn't bleed. I've said that sometimes it doesn't. It's other folks who are trying to claim that all head trauma bleeds which just isn't true.

JMO, OMO, and :moo:

I do think in cases of head pummelling on conrete that causes any skin openings would be apparant of alot more than 1 punctate wound and a 1 inch laceration!!..surrounding tissues would be scraped, abraided and swollen..and Im now going to drop subject..:banghead:

Unless something changes, GZ will have an immunity hearing. It is possible he will be granted immunity. This is just reality. IMO

If he testifies in the immunity hearing and loses, will his words on the stand be allowed at trial? I don't think that would be fair for either side. IYKWIM

Who said anything about fear? Perhaps realistically knowing that you could become a victim is what compels this to occur. Some of us just don't like to live in a little bubble and eat the grass with the rest of the sheep. That's all. No more, no less.

lmbo..........to me it's the bubble peeps carrying the guns. I still think it's fear. Just my opine, which I am entitled to.

I think we may just have our first Webslueths experiment in this case??

So, who is going to go sit outside of Target and do a survey on how many people carry a gun and two flashlights on their waistband to go shopping?

At first I thought the experiment was going to have to do with head wounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything I say is opinion or assumption unless I provide a link.
I clearly said it's in my opinion. I never said it was fact.

I take what that funeral director says with a big ole lump of salt.
That's just me.

GZ's nose was also broken.

I believe it was self defense. I believe a jury of 12 will never convict on 2nd degree murder.

JMO

Got ya'. I was trying to have a dialogue with you. You state your opinions and the reasons for them and I state mine.

I think they are allowed at trial.

I don't think it matters how great GZ's injuries were, just that he had them. If I'm being attacked or threatened, I'm gonna shoot before the person gets the chance to injure me more. JMO

  • #1,099
I still want to know WTH took that picture and who GZ was calling. This had to have happened seconds after the shooting as police arrived really fast. I would also think that the blood would be watered down with the rain and wetness of the grass? It's just red like it had just started bleeding.

Something is just off?

MOO

HE IS A LIAR....He told dispatch Trayvon was a kid and now he has the audacity to state he thought Trayvon was just a little younger than him.. I cannot believe he and his family ONLY have to come up with $15,000.. And am I correct in hearing the judge has even given him permission to leave the state? JMHO
