I think if they released this video... photographs are coming soon. They had to have taken pictures of Zimmerman at the scene. There is no way that they would allow him to clean up before taking a picture of the blood, right? They also have to have pictures from the Police Department that night. His clothes, if they were taken that night, would have been photographed and logged as evidence too. Also, if his injuries had gotten worse, we know LE talked to him again, at least once, and I would think they would have taken pictures of them then too?

George Zimmerman should have also taken his own pictures of his injuries. He should have made his wife take pictures the moment they got home. He wanted to be a cop. He would know how important that type of evidence would be?

If the evidence is so clearly damning, I'd have expected Zimmerman to be charged by now, or at least there to have been an expectation of charges.

Apparently, the investigator at the station wanted to charge him for homicide but the city attorney nixed the idea. And Chief Lee seemed to back Zimmerman all the way.

This is a P.D. and a county with a seriously racist history, and not just from 50 years ago. That's in part why there is such an uproar over the lack of charges. Remember, this is the same P.D. that failed to arrest the white dude who sucker punched a black, homeless man in the back of the head, for no reason at all, even though there were tons of witnesses. Only after video surfaced was he asked to come in voluntarily to be arrested. He was released almost immediately and only got probabtion for his unprovoked attack. Black folk know how things work down there. I'm learning now myself.

But, the funeral director said no visible injuries to TM's body. Wouldn't that include his nose?

He said no injuries to his hands that would indicate punching/fighting. Clearly there were injuries to his body, since he was shot to death.

Head wounds bleed like crazy. No way did he have a laceration, scrape, head smash 'that should have had stitches', and then nothing on video a short time later. No way. And I'm off to find links about cuts to the head, before anyone demands one.

darn---if you get punched in the nose or have a broken nose u usually get bllod dripping down on the upper part of your shirt----I DON'T SEE ANY BLOOD ON THE UPPER PART OF GZ"s TShirt in that video. I worked as a preschool teacher and daycare worker for years. Head wound bleeds insanely. Anyone with kids knows that. Even a minor cut to the scalp. And a broken nose? Absolutely right that it spurts and drips all down the front of the shirt. This is b.s..

They did arrest and question him. they also questioned witnesses. There's proof of a vast,vast police conspiracy I'd love to see it. I don't think the investigation was botched at all, people just don't like the outcome.

Well no. I saw it on tv. It was during the counsel meeting.
HLN has replayed that segment about a million and one times since I saw it yesterday.

She stated, as fact, that GZ saw TM, chased him down, tackled him, and shot him.

She is the only person who has said that. IMO she is misinformed. The 911 tapes do not back up her statements.

Today, she is supposed to know what's on an unreleased autopsy report.

IMO this lady just talks without being informed.

The 911 call from GZ supposedly using a racial slur has not been confirmed since nobody can fully makeout what he says.

I fully believe GZ was not going after an African American.

And yet his own friends claim that he was.

It's his own friends that use the fact that burglaries were committed by black kids and that's what set GZ off. Over and over Taafe says it.

And what's even worse is that Taafe was first saying that these 8 burglaries were done by many or mostly black kids. Tonight he said they were ALL done by black kids!

GZ's own friends are the ones with the obvious racial agenda.

No one, except Jose Baez and Cheney Mason, thought Casey Anthony was arrested when she was handcuffed and placed into a police car? I'm sure they removed the handcuffs when they went into the interview room. They probably asked George if he was there willingly, blah, blah, blah!

Oh, but he's going to claim he wasn't read his miranda rights and they'll try to get it thrown out.

Do you think this video was released because the City Manger said today he was bringing in the Justice Department to look at the PD?

I bet there are a lot of angry cops with that notice.

As an aside, if the DOJ is really wanting to get at the truth, they've leveraged the Sanford PD with enough scrutiny and pressure that whatever apathy SPD once had for investigating/burying this shooting and/or letting GZ 'slide' -- has dissolved. IMO, SPD now want DOJ off their back in the worst way possible, and they're suddenly being very cooperative and open.
