My heart broke for George while reading this interview. I cried the whole time. He's telling them that he "knows" his granddaughter is dead, without actually "saying" it. When the tip came in at the end of the interview, and GA needs to leave to go puke...WOW! Again, another heart breaking moment. He mentioned first off in the interview that he was running on fumes and could use some water, so I can imagine that's all he was able to vomit, at that point.
I know that tons of folks vilify Cindy, and I agree, she's no saint, but this man is trying to keep it together and his family together, knowing full well they both realize their granddaughter is never coming home. How the hell you process that to the point that you're able to truly function normally? I don't believe that George, Cindy, or Lee will ever be able to be whole again, ever. Casey, on the other hand, will be "fine."
Other than than the fact Caylee is no longer "with us," I think this is the family's biggest fear. What parent can process that the child they raised is a sociopath and was responsible for the death of her own child, shows no remorse, and has done nothing to aid in the locating/recovery of Caylee.
Casey is a parent's worst nightmare. Yet they still love her. She's their daughter/sister. I don't agree, but I get it.
