I too was struck by the fact that George did not even know that Caylee was missing but immediately thought her body might be in the trunk of the car at the tow yard. Not the bodies of Casey AND Caylee, mind you, only the body of Caylee.
Something is still not adding up here to me. Plus George's known behaviors and statements SINCE this interview have been quite bizarre in light of what he says during the interview.
With both Casey and Caylee missing, I could see him smelling the death smell and fearing both of them were in the trunk - but what would the reasoning be for him to think it was ONLY Caylee's body in the trunk?
They had seen and talked to KC but in that 31 days they never got to speak to Caylee, so it tells me that there had to be suspicions on her whereabouts. Much like they BOTH discussed the possibility of the pool.
I am sure I would have thought the same thing. Plus we do not know what her mind set was when they spoke to her, they try to paint a pretty picture of everything being Rosie but its clear it was far from it.
