It is possible that while Tony slept one night Casey snuck out and had a key made? or perhaps he had an extra set that she discovered while he was not at his apartment and she was and she just took those and "squirreled" them away and used them while Tony was gone...

But he must have known she used his car because in his interview he recalls KC pointing out the carwash that she took his car to while he was gone.

Evidently, CA doesn't tell GA much of what's going on. And, remember Lee and KC yukking it up about getting George "how to get a job for dummies" or something like that? Pathetic! He is soooo proud of the job he has now.

First time posting here, love the way you people keep digging up some great facts. On that note.....

TonE must have given KC his keys because she picked him up at the airport on July 5th with his jeep - even had it washed for him

Yes I caught that too. I thought she had taken him to the airport also? I think that maybe she just used it more than he had intended her to.

I know I felt so sad for GA in a motherly way about that, you could just tell how proud he was to have that job and that Cindy was happy about it. I think that family has been making him feel like a loser for quite some time and he was actually starting to feel good about himself. Cindy is a controlling "u know what!"..............IMO

I think it's really strange also that Cindy did not meet or have a number for the sitter. Men usually don't get involved as much with childcare so I can understand GA not having a number. Obviously CA has been covering for KC for quite awhile. Why the lie about KC taking her car? In her 911 call she said that KC stole her car.
I think it is strange too if she had been a regular sitter. I personally had our nannies, name, address, SS# and DL # posted on the frig in case if was ever needed, you never know when an emergency will come up.

As for the car I think since the title was still in the parents name they could legally report it stolen, although that was not the case unless her parents had told her she couldn't take the car which I hadn't heard.

Can anyone send me a link to GA's interview? I can't seem to open the one at the beginning of this thread and I am dying to hear it!

Yes he was proud of that job, think that is one of the reasons he went on to work after getting the car back. Remember back in the beginning it was mentioned that he had just started that job and had been out of work just prior. I feel for the man now too after listening to the interviews, hope all his outbursts on TV don't jeopardize his job.

George said that when Lee brought Casey's clothing back from Tony Lazaro's on the night of the 15th/wee hours of the 16th, that the clothes all reeked of cigarette smoke. Casey apparently does not smoke. Among her boyfriends/friends, does anyone recall knowing who is a cigarette smoker? If we could figure this out, it may be a strong clue to where Casey had been staying in those last few weeks.

My father is a sociopath, as is one nephew. Neither of them has the slightest insight into their own behavior, and while they can identify the very vulnerable as well as those who are similarly disposed to ignore morality and the law, they can't do it simply by watching someone on TV in little bits and pieces.

Some form of interaction is required.

I'm pretty good at sussing out sociopaths, too. I might have been inclined to think there were others in the Anthony family--but after this interview, I don't think George is one. (I also don't think anyone else in the family is involved in Caylee's disappearance.)

I'm not saying your son is flat-out wrong, but I wonder whether he can have the same insight into someone he sees on TV as he has with his sister, who he's known her whole life.

If George is a sociopath, there certainly are no cracks in his veneer. And that is quite rare. We can be fooled by sociopaths, but once we know the truth about them, it's usually quite easy to see. (It's just that we don't expect others to be amoral, and don't tend to look for it.)

Actually, I believe almost all sociopaths act alike, ie, they all lie, steal, cheat, sound very convincing, manipulate, and are almost always involved in promiscuity or 🤬🤬🤬🤬. Sometimes it's hard to catch them at the last one, but if one digs deep enough I believe that will show up. Scott Peterson was into 🤬🤬🤬🤬, Bundy was, my son is, etc., ad nauseum.

It's like they all went to the same sociopath school.

I'm not sure George is one either, but neither do I see any "cracks" in Casey's veneer.

My opinion only.

Are you kidding me? How furious you must have been!

:::sighs::: Where are the values we were taught? What happened to respect for your parents, and others?

The world is a dangerous place for sure.

I am sorry that you had this trouble Blackwatch. If you don't mind saying, I would be interested in knowing how this turned out.

I see that the Anthonys gave MissCasey a place to live rent-free for her and her daughter, food, a warm bed, and creature comforts such as laptops, Internet access and not to mention they supported little Caylee.

And this is how she talks to her father? This is how she rewards him for all the things they do for her?

Ooooh, this makes me sooooooo mad :furious: :furious: :furious:

You have to understand that sociopaths have NO respect for anyone, mother, father, priest, or president. I was angry, but came to court prepared with tape records of evil messages she had left on my telephone to prove what a nasty critter she is - but - she had the good sense not to show up. We are speaking again and she's being real sweet. That's always a bad sign - it means she wants something.

If George had suspected for a couple of years that Casey did not really have a job, then why didn't he investigate this in the course of 2 years? No, something is definately wrong in this - as you say - no contact numbers, etc.

Just does not wash with me. I am highly suspect of ALL statements from Lee, Cindy, and George. I still maintain that George found what Casey had done and buried Caylee's body for her. Then he (George) told Casey that she, and even he as an accomplice, could go to jail for the rest of their lives if they told ANYONE what had happened, IMO. They would always have to stick to their individual stories. George, as ex-LE would do ANYTHING rather than go to jail, IMO. He knows exactly where he put Caylee and will NEVER give it up, IMO. I also do not think that even Casey knows where George placed her. I do not believe for one moment that George would have just thrown Caylee in a hole and thrown dirt on top of her. I think he did bury Caylee as carefully as he could. This is eating him alive, IMO, and I think he is more likely to commit suicide than to ever tell his part of it. He is ex-LE and knows the demeanor of criminals. IMO, he allowed emotion in his voice during the recorded interview because he knows that to be otherwise would put him in a bad light. He really did love Caylee, and perhaps allowed that emotion into his interview.

Cindy is an agressive, angry person. I feel that she probably told Casey that if she was leaving and taking Caylee with her that she could NOT take anything with her that had been paid for with her (Cindy's) money. I actually worked with a guy who was getting a divorce and the couple agreed to let the 14 year old decide which parent she wanted to live with. The soon to be ex wife said she (the daughter) could live with her Dad, but could not take one single thing with her that she (the wife/mother) paid for. Not the same thing as is in this case, but there ARE people like that.

I honestly think that Cindy knew when she wrote her July 3rd entry on MySpace that she was actually grieving for a child she knew was dead, IMO. I believe that Cindy referenced the 'I have given you 30 days' remark to make Casey think she did not know. Cindy said words to the effect of 'Is that the way you want to play this?' (PLAY THIS?? VERY POOR CHOICE OF WORDS, IMO.) Casey asks for one more day, IIRC. Then Cindy states that she can get a court order. Court order for what? To produce Caylee? For me the 30 days do not fit. Cindy made these statements on the 15th of July during a 911 call. Did Cindy start on the 15th of June to produce Caylee? Caylee was at the nursing home with Cindy that day - Father's Day. So what is this 30 days about?

I believe the whole Anthony family knows that Casey killed Caylee. IMO, they have written a 'script' for themselves to follow and no one is going to deviate from it.

This has been a long post and I apologize for that. I am not attempting to sway anyone's opinion, merely stating mine.

Good assessment, I agree with most of it.

In my humble opinion, Cindy is totally motivated by "keeping up appearances", and that means a perfect house, spotless windows, and no oil stains in the driveway.

George is doing his best to keep Cindy content, and that means not getting in her way about presenting the "perfect family" to the world.

He knows it isn't, but he has to keep his mouth shut, or catch he!! at home. He loves Cindy, and she has been a good wife in many ways.

Cindy's "pretend" perfect image is falling down. George knows it, but he truly loves her, and is caught between a rock and a hard place. Their daughter, that Cindy has tried her best to work over and mold into the family picture she had in mind, has succumbed to the wild life.

Cindy resorts to "pretend this isn't happening". George knows this is a crock, but loves Cindy, and isn't strong enough to confront her.

Both Cindy and George need our prayers, in my humble opinion. They did their very best as parents, with Cindy steamrollering George, trying to keep the lid on Casey. Cindey thought she had the power, but Casey is turning her into a fool. George is just standing by, wondering, because Cindy told him that she had it all under control.

We sleuthers should be praying for these two, because we could be walking in their shoes someday.

Casey is the guilty one. Her parents deserve our understanding and prayers. This is just my humble opinion.

I think what GA may have been smelling was the odor of stale Pot smoke.
Cannabis when burned has a heavy oily substance that makes the smoke stick to people and clothing and such much more so than the sticky nicotine in tobacco smoke. Fresh pot smoke has a somewhat sweet pungent odor but once it sits on something that does not get aired out or cleaned it gets a deep smell that looses the sweetness end. Pot smoke residue sticks around a lot longer than cigarette smoke. Nicotine is more water-soluble and evaporates in the air a lot faster also.
One has a tendency when using pot to keep windows and doors closed because the sweet pungent smelled smoke just wafts all over the place. Think of incense and how strong and how far someone can smell the use of just a simple incense stick.
GA being in security may be familiar with the smell of burning pot smoke but that over time build up of enclosed left over pot smoke smell may not be something he would have come across and he may think that it is just the smell of stale cigarette smoke. JMO

It was weird when the detective said something like 'George we think you're a man who knows about many things' when George was saying that with his background he can't ignore what the signs are pointing towards.

How about the smell of smoke could have been from her being somewhere burning something say in the woods? We have fires in our fire pit at night and our clothes reek of smoke afterwoods....hmmmm...

When KC ran to the car trunk to "get the gas cans"....I would bet $$$ the body was in there. After hearing there interviews I feel so sorry for GA & CA. The hell they have been through......it's heartbreaking....
