I hate typing this but....here we go, sorry...Maybe KC gave Caylee something to eat in the trunk while she was out... I hate writing that but I also hate thinking that.
Caylee was gone by the time she bought the pizza and left it in the bag. :(

I do and then I cut the box down to put in the trash. But...I have a better question: Who the hell eats pizza IN THE CAR?!

*meekly raises hand*

Uhm, I have been known to grab a slice on the run, and eat it in the car.

But, NEVER in the trunk.

No, I think I found where you were referring to, I am just lousy at saving maps and the URL wasn't even close. I deleted my post after I saw what I gave you.
The clearing should be easy to spot since the old tires are what lead you into the area. (Isn't that what he said?)

Thanks Coley! I must have missed that thread.......has been a busy week for me and I've only been able to read here in the evenings, and there's so much to read, I've missed some threads. Would love a link!

You know, I heard him say something like that earlier but it didn't click until now. If they found partial remains, that means they know where she was. Maybe it was just a problem getting to the rest due to so much water.

I admire your courage but, it might be wise to notify the sheriff's office to let them know before you go. That's a pretty thick area and with so much water and railroad tracks, you're sure to run into them slithery critters.

Slithery critters are better than the gators I've seen on these jaunts! I'm not terribly afraid of snakes (don't love 'em, don't hate 'em) but my fiance is! He about flipped his lid at Blanchard. We saw two snakes that day because I insisted we peruse the weeds and brush by the lake :).

Well, I think they said the tires are the only path to get to the tracks. I haven't found those yet. I'll go back and look again.

Yes, spell checker. Been needing and wondering about that. Can we arrange to get that? Mod?

mine has one...doesn't everyone's???

in reguards to the map...

if you click on birds eye view at the top of the map... then move the map down... that area at the top... the left of the river and above the train tracks.....

I just think that is a odd grouping of trees...... IDK... maybe just a feeling....

Where exactly did they see KC again?

Word of WARNING, be very careful when searching back there, there are posted signs, airport property is a federal offense if you are nabbed tresspassing. Searching or not!

I know peeps that had accidents in airport fences and the police said they would do them a favor and NOT give them a ticket for it, it is a heavy fineable offense and today you may be arrested for it lol.

I say this because right there is what looks like a treatment plant and I know there are several side roads posted keep out.

Hahahaha~ I would have it all over the car and myself if I tried that. OK...so Who in the hell throws pizza away IN THEIR TRUNK?! ;) Better?

The tracks run right beside BCR.

Now I know why I have never been to Florida! OMG!

If you watch the video the camera pans up to a very unique looking tree at that clearing. This was easy to find using the street view. I found it interest that these two Sawgrass signs are less than a half mile from that clearing (fork at road--Weatherby(sp?) and Boggy creek).

Do we know where she was that day? That could tell a lot. Especially if the bag was used for another reason.
