I'm pretty sure that's a given.

Yeah, me too, but if someone used "not harmed" as synonymous with "no blood" then it wouldn't be a given for that person.

Anyway, if I had left my children alone and thought that a kidnapper may have been hiding behind a door at a little after nine pm. when one parent checked and then left and slammed the door at about ten pm. when another parent checks, I'd be mighty worried if I heard that cadaver dogs hit in the apartment. Who knows what the person did there?

Someone suggests she writes a diary to help up emotionally, and people find it odd she talks about her emotions, and writes as if she is talking to madeleine. Really?

JMO, I think if you keep a diary to help emotionally it would be likely to start being dated the day you start keeping it. You may discuss the past as much as you like but you don't write entries with dates that are already gone pretending that you're documenting what happened in real time unless it's meant for other people's eyes.
