Very Possible SS, good thought.
No, the person that contacted me was the driver, apparently "Jimmy" based on this video from Paul K. So is it me or is it odd no Jimmy call in but one from Paul, the passenger?
Maybe Jimmy felt like no one was taking him seriously since you didn't respond. :P Just saying...

He said they were looking for scrap metal on the side of the road so I'm sure they weren't going 55 mph looking for it. Just a thought

You have a point - "scrap metal" on the side of the road usually means looking for cans. Even if they were only going 40, 45mph that is an awful lot of detail to observe when passing by especially if he had his eyes looking at the ground for cans.

Yes, I agree. These guys weren't driving, they were "trolling for scrap metal'. Walking up and down the highway, around the tracks, etc. looking to pick up scrap metal. Or, if they were driving, it would have been real slow so they could stop to pick up the metal.

LOL Is OK...just hard to keep up with one topic around here.

I keep going back over the video and listening to his explanations of everything. The more I listen, the more plausible it seems. I want to hear more from him and I am hoping that they do a follow-up report on him or the area.

I would hate for him to go out and search on his own tho. As Tim has repeatedly said, a person could literally push the remains further into the ground and she would be almost impossible to find then.

I know, heck he could find something that he thinks is scrap metal and it actually be evidence. I applaud everyone who is searching and I just hope all these different groups contact LE in how to conduct a search so it's by the book. Ya know?

LOl, as do I, OLG. Also important to remember, that is LP's opinion (of which he has many..) there is no substantiation of any findings by LE.

I agree. And I don't always agree with his opinions either.

If you listen to the report, he said he wanted to stop to see if she needed help...but instead the driver just slowed way down. So yes...he was concentrating on the woman at that point and slowed down enough to have noticed those things, imo.

It's hard to believe that a couple guys out trolling for scrap metal and in no big hurry to get anywhere wouldn't stop to help an attractive young woman struggling to get something out of her car trunk.

Correct, I think I recall you saying to another poster that our conver was his opinion to me. Something along the line.

Sorry Seriously. No more OT. :banghead::)

Woah! What?! LP didn't say the findings of LE are not substantiated that I have ever heard. What?!

ETA: Yes...I did it too, Coley! LOL OT OT OT...but gosh...I had to ask this one!

I don't know about the rest of you, but I found that man's demeanor to be very believable. He was adamant about what he saw.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised that both witnesses saw Casey - what if she was scouting for the best place to put the body? Or, it could have been on of the times she moved the body since it seems very plausible it could have been moved a number of times....

I thought the man sounded very credible too. The fact that there were two sightings by two different people, who both gave the similar descriptions of the vehicle and the woman they saw, makes it even more credible.

In the woman's description, she says the girl was wearing a baseball hat, whereas in this man's description, he says it was a straw hat. What if it was Casey and she was there on two separate days........one day to scout out the area, and the second time to bury the body?

Who is the well-dressed guy who was pretending to fish????

Why would they stop if there was a well dressed guy watching out for her?

She was walking out of a clearing first and then putting the bag and shovel in her trunk. He said she hit her hat on the trunk and almost knocked it off. He wanted to stop, but the driver slowed down then kept going.

Good point! I want a description of this well dressed fisherman!! Did he have a pole? He was on a cell phone supposedly. (Wonder what number he was calling from and what HIS pings would show?! Or was he on Casey's phone perhaps and why it shows calls from that area WHILE she could be burying the body?!)

ETA: That just gave me shivers for some reason. I recall discussing this earlier as to who would be stupid enough to be on the phone while you were burying a body. Hmmm...

Exactly. Why not just go ahead and subpoena GA, LA, TL, and all the males close to KC at the time just to be on the safe side?!

It's pretty uncool these days for two men to stop their car and offer to help a woman who was not in obvious distress. It would freak most women out. I would panic if a car came to a stop and two men approached me. I'd get on my cell and call 911, frankly.

No, they did the respectful thing and kept driving. If she'd flagged them down or had a flat tire or something that would be a different story. also as mentioned above she had a man with her.

This witness is fascinating and I definitely think there's key info here.

'night all.

Is it just me or do I recall LA stating that he does a lot of business on his phone? Maybe I dreamed it. Who knows? I just know that when I think of him I think of a person who has his own business so when he is away from the office he obviously is on his phone and on the day CA found KC, LA was already at the house and not at work.

So if he got a good enough look at her car...did he happen to see the shamrock?! Or was her trunk left open? He did say it looked like she could be having car trouble.

Car trouble....her gas gauge wasn't working and their was a squirrel plastered to the frame...God I hate typing that for some reason

To me if say this story is true, then I could picture KC acting like she was having car trouble to distract away from the thought of what she was really doing.
