Ok,
What one would wear to go fishing? Its warm down there. Jeans, shorts or something close to it. A t-shirt or short sleave polo type shirt.
Now taking into account what this guy was wearing himself while on TV. He had a pair of chino or dockers type shorts. Not saying that was the name brand of them just I can't come up with any other way to describe them. His shirt was a short sleeved pullover type like a polo. He said the man fishing was well dressed. So does this mean dress pants and shirt or about what he was wearing himself? Otherwise I don't think he would have used the term 'well' dressed. He din't say in work clothes so I would take that to me he though he was over dressed for fishing.

Why would someone be fishing there. It does not appear to be close to any industry and the closet access road is that Richad J. Johnson Blvd that goes past some type of plant or factory. That road appears to be the only access road real close by so if it was someone that is fishing on a break from work it would have to be close by. There was also nothing said about another car being parked on the side of the road so is this guys assumption that this man had to be with the women with the hat and sunglasses.
If someone followed the tracks to that bridge looks like it would be a bit of hike. I could see someone maybe walking the tracks to get there to fish if they didn't have a car then why would they get dressed up to go fishing?

Since it's behind the airport, I'm thinking it was someone that worked in one of the businesses not too far from there. Since a lot of airport personnel work 3 shifts, could have been someone getting off work, or a lunch break that decided to go throw their line in the water for a bit. Lots of people here that like to fish.

I guess what I was really thinking was...If this guy was somebody who frequented these kind of sites, then yes maybe he would pick someone link Blink34 who many people feel is very knowledgable. But, if he frequented the sites often enogh to know that, then he probably would have the knowledge himself to know who to go to whether it be LE or the media.
On the other hand, if he didn't know the right place to go with his information and he Googled to check out sites such as WS and others, then how would he know to pick Blink34?

Does that make sense?

She may have responded to one of his notes and he decided to further the conversation.

These are a few of the questions I want to ask new witness guy:

1. Can you give me a complete description of the "fisherman"?

a. Color of his hair?
b. Approx. height?
c. Approx. weight?
d. Clothing?
e. Sunglasses? Hat?
f. Fishing pole?
g. Distinguishing characteristics? Facial hair? Thick eyebrows? Tattoos?
h. Was he smoking? Drinking something?

2. Where was he when she was at the trunk of the car?
3. Did he notice you slowing down and what was his reaction?
4. What made you notice him?
5. Did she look at him or in his direction while walking?
6. Anything else you noticed about the man's movements or person?

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=...932,-81.330006&spn=0.008437,0.021672&t=h&z=16 It is right there halfway between Access RD and where Boggy jogs towards the Northeast.

That's MUD LAKE to the East. I heard in the beginning of the case there were two pings from Mud Lake and I drew a little picture of where the pings were in relation to the Lake (from the TV). Let me see if I can dig up the picture I then made from Google Earth and let me see if now I can put a pushpin where the two pings were from (I did not research the pings it was from when the ping stuff first broke and way before the document dump).

Edit: Link to Map of Mud Lake (marked and bottom lake on map)

http://www.cityoforlando.net/gis/pdf/nbhd/OrlandoIntAirport.pdf

The "pings" were in two areas (from my recollection). One was southwest of the shore of Mud Lake near the South access road to Mud Lake.

The other "ping" was North of Mud Lake along the uppermost access road to the North adjacent to Lake Nona on the west side. I saw this "ping" map on TV so I have nothing to link to here.

I have never again seen these as "pings". I have no idea what day these "pings" were supposed from either.

Would they have walked that distance from the airport dressed up to drop a pole? He didn't mention seeing any other cars near there.

Thanks, Theonly1! Interesting!!!

That guy seems credible. He went into great detail, and the fact that he wants to search, well that proves he believes what he saw.
The only thing Im wondering, if the girls credible too, (who thinks she saw Casey), was Casey wearing a baseball cap like she said, or a straw hat like he said? Or was Casey there in that area twice? Confused.

It wouldn't surprise me if KC was looking for a spot and decided against one only to choose another. Would account for her being seen by two different people in two different locations.

Any fellow WS'ers from Orlando or that knows the area can you help us out by answering SS's questions??

I know all about Boggy Creek Road. My husband's Army Reserve Unit is located on that road, and I've been to the unit several times myself to visit for family day. There is an abandoned golf course on that road (Boggy Creek Golf Course), and there is also an abandoned military housing base there. My husband and I were just commenting not too long ago how easy it would be for KC to dispose of Caylee at either of these abandoned locations. And those 2 locations are surrounded by thick woody/palmy areas.

That is a possibility, too.

No, he didn't but that doesn't mean there wasn't one either. There seems to be all kinds of places one could pull off the road in that area.

I wonder if he isn't divulging all of this info on tv? Could be a possibility there is more to his story but he felt the only way to get LE's attention because no one contacted him. Just a thought

Got a map?

Army reserve unit? OMG....KC likes her some military guys from what I have seen. Maybe if it is true, she felt "in her comfort zone" with all the time spent with her army buds.

I think I vaguely remember you talking about that. Is it anywhere near the bridge, canal area where we think this guy is talking about? On the google map it is right where the 5somethingA sign pops up on BCR about halfway between Access RD and where BCR turns towards the NW.

I just hate when reporters don't ask the right questions. :banghead: LOL

These two areas have been mentioned here before, but I can't remember which thread. Didn't TES search there the first time they went to Orlando?

You know when they first mentioned the abandoned military housing when Tim went out there a little bell went off in my head..For some reason it just clicked.

Does anyone remember comments about cell phone pings near the airport and barracks?
