Zanny, Jessie, Kronk...we have seen all this before. Problem is once it is said it spreads like wildfire and becomes 'fact'. I wish LP had not done this.

If LP can't get the facts straight after all this time - Misty would buffalo his butt into tomorrow. I can't believe all the misinformation which still remains after a full year...:banghead:

It could be true that Misty was "messed with" as a kid by these guys, plus she claimed that there's someone in the family who is now messing with child relatives. The van was moved, had a scratch, and LE believes it was someone close to the family. I've never seen a pic of Joe, and wonder if he looks like the rest of the family and why no one saw him out and about in the van. If Misty did see someone and they were dressed all in black, she might have thought it was Cousin Joe. The red pickup seems to have been seen though and Tommy admits to being at the trailer.

The only family member Misty hasn't taken a dump on is Timmy, who had access to the van the night Haleigh went missing. The same Timmy Misty reportedly called sometime before the 911 call; the same Timmy who zipped out of Satsuma to Mass; the same Timmy who Hank and Tommy think should not come back to Satsuma to see Misty in jail because he might end up in jail too; the same Timmy whose wife seems to think Misty won't be charged for trafficking because she was just helping a friend...and on and on and on.

And papa - wasn't all this "gun controversy" supposed to have happened like a week or so BEFORE Haleigh went missing? JO came to town for a visit and was only staying like two weeks - so evidently this happened early on in the visit and then JO was gone - back to TN.

No way of telling "when" a gun was fired - just that it "has" been fired. hhmmmm..........

It's my opinion that there was likely a fight that may not have had completely favorable results for Mr Cummings, and possibly devastating results for Haleigh, hence his denial of a fight that several family members said occurred.

Joe was staying with Timmy and Chelsea in Pomona Park. I don't know that it has ever been confirmed where Hank and Lisa were actually living at the time.

Yes, according to locals, much of that area is called Crescent City.

Ok - theory. I know this should be on the theory thread but since we're on the gun and JO - here goes....

The story about JO and RC and the gun did really happen. JO took the gun but got caught - RC is po'd and bans him from the MH. This had all happened not the night before but I'm willing to bet the Thursday night before Haleigh's disappearance.

Now on Friday night MC goes on her "binge" for the entire weekend. RC is now very po'd at her and all we have found out about her not wanting to babysit that night.

RC (or MC - but I'm leaning more toward RC) comes home during working hours that night (lunch clockout at PDM possibly?) catches MC or just starts fighting with her again - things get really really heated, gun drawn, gun fired.............

Haleigh gets hit. Now WHO is RC gonna call in such a dire emergency? TN - TN comes to help but can't. TN sends RC back to "werk" and the cover up begins.

In discussing all this - RC and/or MC remember JO and the stealing of the gun earlier - so gun ends up in ditch.

Now JO has NO KNOWLEDGE of any of the "important" facts but can corroborate the initial gun incident. So even if JO gets po'd that he's being thrown under the bus - he has no knowledge of any of the other, relevent events to offer up.

All I know is that common sense tells you that there is a "core group" of people deeply involved and NO ONE - not a single one - is going to talk. Because they all know - it doesn't matter who "spills" - they will ALL go down. And JO is the scapegoat because of the gun.

A man who visited Haleigh Cummings' family in Satsuma and returned to Tennessee the day she disappeared is not a suspect, police said Saturday as the frustrating search for the missing 5-year-old continued.

Capt. Dick Schauland of the Putnam County Sheriff's Office told reporters during an afternoon briefing that the man, a cousin of Haleigh's father's girlfriend, was interviewed after detectives learned of him early in the investigation and was subsequently ruled out.

The man left Florida after trying to steal a gun from the Cummings' home, according to Haleigh's grandmother. Schauland wouldn't identify him.

I believe that was proven wrong long ago. Schauland did indeed say that though because I got all excited posting about the info long ago. I believe it was Jeff Hardy who said no to that statement and at that point, everyone was a suspect? About a week or so later. Anyone?

If you will check some of my posts I have always said go after the cousin.
The way he left "the same day" Haleigh went missing.
The fact that Misty mentioned that he had tried to abuse her.
That he and Ron got in a fight.

Misty knows he was there..she probably was having an affair with him..passed out ,woke up and she was gone.
I have wanted him checked out ,ever since Misty,s Mom and Dad moved there.
Leonard needs to Leave Misty in jail...and go get the guy....
The tapes show where these people's heart is...not toward Haleigh but all about what they can get.
God, help them for their part in letting their actions cost the life of this small child.

Jump ahead a year and she gets scary too.
How sad this thread remains current this long with no real new information than we had then. :banghead:

AFAIK Misty has been the only one to make this accusation as well as making this same accusation against Tommy. Art Harris said on NG that Joe does not have a record as a sex offender. (for what thats worth)

LE held a press conference and that question was asked and LE said the JO has NO record of being a sexual predator.
