Back to Haleigh. How the Heck long is this drama going to go on? It is so very discusting viewing people who don't really care about a little girl. Who profit by it, has not stepped up to the plate as a father because he WASN'T LOOKING FOR LITTLE HALEIGH. I would like to tell you something, however, I believe all of you are kind of like me. If anything EVER happened to one of mine, not only would I be looking constantly, but, to tell you the truth: I would be packing a glock. (By the way, I don't own a gun, I am afraid of them, but I am thinking of getting one). We live in an extremely remote area and I think (with things the way they are) I need a larger dog and a gun.

Yes, it has been extensively discussed over the past nearly eleven months StrayKat, since Misty conveniently disclosed it when the investigation began focusing in on the inconsistancies in her account of the night/hours in question that HaLeigh disappeared - IMO, Misty's allegation toward Jo is unfounded unless/until someone unconnected to the family and this case comes forward with a similar experience that was reported to authorities at the time it occurred to substantiate it. I take claims such as these extremely seriously being a sexual assault survivor myself but unsubstantiated claims that are thrown out to the public as a means to distract the focus on one's self when involved in a criminal investigation pizz me off because they hurt those who do come forward, who were sincerely abused and/or assualted. :furious: MOO~

I have to say, I just don't believe that JO ever did anything to Misty. IF they were ever intimate, (which wouldn't surprise me) IMHO it was consensual between 2 WAY too young kids that are only a couple of years apart in age. Oh Emeral, that is so true. A few years ago I had three rescues: a terrier, a husky and a champian greyhound. They all slept with me and the funniest thing was the grey used to lay on his side with his looooooooooooong legs stretched out. I kind of slept on the side of the mattress. By the way, my grey had won hundreds of thousands for his owner. He broke his leg and his owner said to put him down. Thanks heavens the president of the humane society loved this particular dog and spent over $1,000. fixing him up perfectly. I wish people would love their children as much as we love our pets. (you know who I mean).

Well after listening to this, I have a few thoughts. But the one I wanted to share was... about her calling MC, and all the talk about the phone is bugged... Does anyone remember the 1st reports about Haleigh? It was said that Misty, Haleigh and an adult male were at the trailer that night. The adult male was described as a cousin or nephew....can't remember. It then morphed into Jr. being there.

Is it possible that Jr. was in fact not there? Maybe TN had him with her? Or, GGS? Maybe JO was there?

In some of the first articles about the case, Misty was originally called a teen aged cousin, then a teen babysitter, then a teen girlfriend who was babysitting then finally, she was the teenage live in girlfriend. Yes Lisa's family is from Tennessee. Her brother moved to Michigan--he is the father of B, C & J Overstreet. Just as an educated guess, either Lisa or her brother visited one another and the other relocated there as well. Her one sister apparently was not married as her kids are also named Overstreet. She is still in Tennessee and her kids are K, K and J--the visiting cousin.
Her two other sisters seem to be in the Tennessee area as well--at least their kids are.
