It just really bugs me that this "tip" came in a week later...really bugs me...
Snipped for space...I wonder if he doesn't already know. I have thought from the beginning that he was not involved, but I have seen others who believe that he was and he set off their hinky meter. I wonder if what they are sensing is what I was sensing tonight when I heard him asking her how she could get his daughter stolen. I can't help but wonder if he already knew she wasn't home and because of her age and the legal issues with that and the fact that there were already custody issues before, did they circle the wagons and both agree she was home?
Tip schmip.
Wonder if someone local was reading on WS and decided to run with it...:waitasec:
Why would you think this?
Whatever it is, it smells of a family grab to me.
Maybe bio-mom learned that the kids were being left alone in the house at night, while RC worked and some concerned relative or boyfriend took matters into his/her own hands. There was a hearing the next day. The imminant hearing date and the timing of the kidapping make me question this as more than mere coincidence.
Just saying.
First instinct for me was bio-gma and mom as suspects. Then their significant others. Then their relatives. But, that is just my humble opinion.
I still don't get a hinkey meter reading at all on the gf and Dad.
He's dumb and she is dumber, but I think they are both telling the truth and someone else stole Haleigh from the house. The little inconsistencies do not concern me. It really does not matter in the grand scheme of things whether MC was home or not, or whether Haleigh was 4 feet away in her bed, or in the next room. What matters is that she is missing and I believe she was taken by an intruder. I will define "intruder" to be someone other than MC or RC.
Actually Em, it was just released today.
I wonder if she did go to brother's house or a friend's, someone like the brother's wife decided enough is enough and called in the tip.
I've always thought Misty wasn't at home. I think she often went out the backdoor while Ron was at work...and I think someone knew that. She puts the kids to bed at 8pm, she cleans up, checks on them at 10pm and they are sound asleep. She goes out the backdoor so neighbors don't see her OR so she can sneak in the back if she sees Ron coming home (he stated sometimes he gets off work early if there isn't much work) she goes to brother's or friends that night, loses track of time, sees headlights coming and races back home. She discovers Haleigh missing, not much she can do since she knows Ron is coming, so she just meets him at the door pretending like she just woke up. This would explain the delay in calling 911, she just barely got in the house before Ron. I would love to see the phone records on this one. When was her first call to Ron? She said she called and he didn't answer. What time was the first call?
I thought that hadn't been determined yet? It's just a tip they're following, right? Or has it been confirmed?
I'm confused, as usual![]()
I think this is really what happened ... look at the quote in the article:
"I didn't make it to the bathroom. I seen the kitchen light on and I walked in the kitchen and the back door is wide open," Croslin told Channel 4's Laura Mazzeo. "I go in the room and she's gone. And that's all I know. When I went to bed she was there and then when I got up and she was gone."
These are key phrases - she sounds like she was coming in from somewhere else, out drinking at bro's place, had to use the bathroom but saw the kitchen light on or something else awry and instead of going into the bedroom where the bathroom and kids are, she proceeds to the kitchen and then notices the door open. It is only then that she goes to the bedroom.
She is totally hiding something, IMO.
