I should have known this was going to happen I just should have known. I made a post I think it was today, I said something along the lines of how I admired both Grandmas, they were staying strong for their families and handling themselves with such grace.........Oh Boy!

Have we found any rap sheets on bio-mom? I would think since she was with RC in Putnam (said they lived with his mom for awhile) wouldn't we be able to come up with drug convictions? I know we all looked and found all that stuff on RC - but did we find anything on her?



I posted all the local and state policies and statutes on attendance in the media thread a couple of days ago. If a child has a "disability" (for lack of a better word) RC could have (and should have) gone to the school with the documentation of Turner's and things would have changed. There would have been a child study team appointed and she would have been considered ESE - they would have allowed the absences and even had a visiting teacher assigned (if she got real sick and was out for extended time) but with these intermittent absences she would have been assigned a tutor - possibly even home tutor to help her keep up. DCF got involved because it is first turned over to a school social worker - the school SW checks everything out and then either handles it at the school level or if things "aren't right" then reports to DCF. I believe that is how DCF got involved. RC doesn't seem like the type of guy that likes people intruding and asking questions (F her DOB - who cares about her DOB) so he probably fought every action that was taken by the school - which just pizzes them off and then they take action.

Where did you get it was a new camper? I saw when they brought it in and the news said someone was letting Ronald use the trailer. I imagine sleeping on air mattresses on the floor of a tent night after night gets old. Also, someone LOANED the tv to them so they could keep up with the news. What tent full of new things?

And why did RC have to lie about the drugs, it makes me question all the other answers he gave...like no I have never hit a woman, no I have never hit Haleigh. Maybe he hasn't, but after that lie his rep doesn't look so good.

I'm sorry. I disagree. The paternal side has thrown just as many confusing stories out there as MC. And all of them were the last ones to see Haleigh.

You are correct. I am rewatching it right now and he says it just that way. Present tense. Geraldo does bring up the arrests, but it is not addressed by Ronald as they go right into the informant thing.

Wow! ....alrighty then, thats your perspective. I dont see anything fair about a child who becomes missing. It's not always as pleasant as it seems to have your dirt spilled out there on television. However, when its all said and done, we'll see just how much of a role Misty played in it. We havent seen any phone records or anything that can back up either story. How do we even know that they werent in on it together, we just dont know. Does RC get a lunch break for that 12 hour shift? Up until that 911 call, we dont know what really happened behind closed doors.

I have an ill feeling, she's also afraid of RC and this is why she's layin low.

Bolded by me. After someone here found Ronald's rap sheet I said the same thing. It is just my little opinion, but yes, I believe that Ronald gave up his supplier. Anyone in my state would have done a little time. I also think that leaving the scene of an accident where there were injuries should have gotten him into a bit more trouble. Now Ronald has denied any substance abuse problems on national TV - not good for him!

In any small town is a good old boy network. Since his mother is a dispatcher, she either knew someone or had a direct influence on the outcome of Ronald's charges.

In any case, that question is out there on national TV where Geraldo (ugh!) asked Ronald if he was an informant. That will be enough for the locals to think it might be so.

I cannot stand Geraldo, but this interview with Ronald and then Crystal has given LE a chance to see another side of Ronald on tape. With the new Sheriff, FDLE, and the FBI, the little good old boy network will not work now. His Mom will not have any pull in this one.

I really hope that LE has at least one deputy standing guard between the two camps. The gloves are off on both sides and it is ugly.

Yes, I agree. Not good at all to ask if Ron is an informant. I wouldnt want to be near that camper tonight, It's a good thing Mistys family is in the sheetrock business. The National Enquirer is probably on the way down there with plenty of cash, and this little news piece tonight is the tip of the iceberg. One big trashfest, sure to get milked for all its worth. A shame a little girls life is what it's worth to some
