I'm sorry,MaedchenX. Whether it was you being abused or someone you know, I understand your heartbreak. I guess that's why I see this as such a brave move on CS's part. She has always looked so broken. Tonight she looked stronger. I have my feelings also, but I think it's best not to air them all too. Hugs to you.

I didn't watch the show but from reading quotes here it almost seemed as if Crystal was angry because it was about her, she had been threatened or something said about her that she found out.

Hi Never4GetCaylee, He looked messed up to me too which is unfortunate since the whole nation saw him like that!

I think there was a definite plan here with Geraldo's show. The negative side has always been put on Misty, and I guess they figured the truth needed to come out about Ron. We here learn things cause we sleuth the case. The public has no idea about his arrest record, for instance, and what a hot head he is.

So having the neighbor who listened to him scream at the kids, showing an awful environment for Haleigh and Jr to be living in, helps bring out the truth.

I guess this Joe Overstreet is who they think might have taken her, generalizing on my part from what I heard.

It's prolly just me but I give about 2 cents worth to the neighbors story about the yelling. Where were these people when this was all taking place?
I thought Joe Overstreet was in jail?

Honestly, I think this is another case where a lot of these people just don't communicate well or in entire thoughts. It makes perfect sense for him to say "I believe that she's alive, until they find her" "dead". (i.e, I won't give up hope till I know for sure). I just don't see anything sinister in that statement.

That's the way I took it also - that he would always believe she was alive until shown otherwise.

Isn't it the mom, and her side that says haileigh wouldn't go with a stranger? She wouldn't have left that house, without making a noise, unless she was with someone she knew? The Granmother thinks she is in GA or AL state lines, or something like that? And now they have all this on GR!!

I'll repeat myself.
Once you have had contact with CPS or whatever they called state to state, you know the rules as to what you can and can't do in raising you rkids. .
And they will take an anonymous report from anyone. They were involved in a custody battle over 2 kids, you can bet that Rn had CPS called on him, and probably more than once.
It says something that the kids were not removed and that there was no open case at the time HAleigh was taken.
I've dealt with the CPS leeches, allegations mean nothing.

With all do respect, allegations don't ALWAYS mean nothing. These agencies (child protective services) may not be perfect, but they're there for a reason. I have seen the good that they do. I only wish they could save more children from harm.

I don't think they were trying to get revenge at all. I think they want answers. We're all so tired of so many stories changing. Imagine how they feel. I think this was probably very hard for CS. It was a very brave thing for her to do. I think she's still very afraid of RC and his family. RC and his family have been getting quite comfortable with all the gushing concern from NG. Somebody has to shake something up so we finally get some truthful answers.

Yes well and now I'm afraid for her. Mostly concerned for Jr.

Thank you Tori,when I first saw his interview in the yard,that was so fake I wanted to be sick,whining,and that fake voice,he said he picked Haleigh up from the busstop.No,he did not,his Mom did,she said so on NGrace.
He said day before yesterday,there was no gun,no fight,his Mom said that night on NGrace,yes,there was a fight and yes,there was a gun,but it was two weeks before.Now,Misty said,there was a fight between her and her cousin,they need to get these things straight before they put the stories out there.He says no fight,His Mom says fight was two weeks ago and Misty said she had the fight.Geesh!

Oy... I'm just surprised no one has lawyered up. Guess it's only a matter of time...

The Maternal side wants answers. With little or no info from LE & the changing of the stories. I dont blame them for throwing a few "eye openers". The truth hurts...thats too bad, its her daughter too and she loves her just as much. AND I watched this family bite their tongues just about as long as they could, I could see this comin. Let the chips fall where they may.

Camps now divided, guess that was only a matter of time too. Obviously bio mom's side must believe dad and gf are withholding info or not being as cooperative as they could be, so are turning up the heat. W all that LE (and family) around for support, guess CS finally found her nerve to stand up to him. There will be no child support to pay if her child is murdered. I agree that CS feels the two are hiding something from LE, and genuinely wants answers. JMO

You say it's unfair and then you blame Misty? None of us knows whose fault it is. It could be Misty's, but who knows? The thing is, what Lawgirl was saying is that the bio-mom has had it. I agree. This was the first time I've seen the bio-mom look/act like she wasn't on sedatives. She's been a mess and has definitely been sedated. She at least owns her own sh--! Dad is a saint...according to him!!

I am not blaming the disappearance on Misty. I am saying it is HER fault for not telling exactly what happened. To my knowledge, we are still getting conflicting stories from Misty.

In bio Mom's first interviews, she acted like a tweaker. Rocking back and forth in the chair was clearly not normal at all.

Dad didn't say he was a Saint either. However, I did see the dad take the high road and not talk trash about the bio mom early on. He could have, but chose not to run her down. I respected the way he handled the interview when asked why he had the children. Frankly, I would love to hear his side of why! We have only heard her side of it.

Misty was the last one to see her. They are trying to stand behind Misty since they believe her, but they all want the truth. The paternal grandmother has stated she doesn't care where it comes from...meaning if Misty isn't telling the truth...she wants to know.

Maybe they are *trying to stand* behind Misty so people will overlook how careless Ron was by leaving a 17 year old- THEY BARELY KNOW - with the children.

I didnt take that as jealousy. Quitting is very difficult and the ones that love you should respect the fact that you cared enough to quit for the health of your baby . And most of all because hes the daddy!!!
