As much as I 'm interested in the Forensic pyscholinguistics of LA testimony I found his hand gesturing throughtout the depo so interesting. Go back (I know it's difficult) and play his testimony without sound. His hands were all over the place as if he were the lawyer directing a response. You don't have to watch long to ask, "Where are those people who are educated in a persons mannerisms? LA was a prime canidate for observation!

I am picking like a lot of things deposition transcribing is "out-sourced"

More often as not to countries where English(or even American) is not the first language.

I see a hint of and obscure African "clicking" language here?

You mean like the language used by natives in The Gods Must Be Crazy? >howling with laughter<

Yes, because remember the first week of news when it was reported that a ZFG had actually visited SG - what was one to think? But then you got to thinking about the 31 days and death smell. Also, why would the actual ZFG fill out a card if she had gone there to steal a child?
Ok...now here's something I don't quite understand. Lee states on a couple (or few) occasions that Casey changed her story on her "visit" home in August. He also stated in the depo that it was "on the record" that she told LE that she lied about the original story. My question is, what "record"? When did she have another discussion with LE where she recanted her original story? Did I miss something? The only "record" I know of is LP's statement on NG. So when did this flip flop occur? Has it appeared in any of the doc dumps?

Hey there, Mac-- Did you also hear him describe Casey's stunned shock/lack of action at JBP as Casey being in "stasis"? He used both words correctly (although, I had to look up "stasis" and I'm a freakin' writer) LOL

Many here think he's not very smart--that he uses big words he doesn't really understand, however, I disagree on both points. BUT here's a sharp contrast that makes him seem crafty or sly to me, and it's this: He does have a good vocabulary, yet he also makes a few glaring grammatical errors, i.e.: "Where else would she have went?" And "Her and Caylee" And "I don't know where she's at..."

I know the obvious explanation would normally be that he uses "big" words he doesn't understand to make himself seem smarter than he is, but I think he is smart. I also think there's nothing completely "normal" about this guy, and his speech patterns don't jive with me. They're evidence of something--just like his inappropriate laughter--but I don't know what that "something" is. LOL.

The entire family tries to use big words ... occasionally even correctly, sometimes they even make up big words ... Here is a big word for them ... can you say overcompensation??

The thing that dawned on me again this morning that disproves any ZFG ever existed is that Casey was asked by LE how she met ZFG and she said, "she used to sit for one of her co-workers (or a friend of her's), a gentleman she mentioned, I forget his name. But when LE investigated that info, it turned out that that guy had never known a ZFG, and never let a ZFG watch his own kid. So there is no ZFG really, Casey is a liar and the debate as to whether or not there was ever a ZFG that watched Caylee should be laid to rest.
Oh, but as Lee related...it was a DIFFERENT JH!

Too funny!

Reading through this, and how Lee is saying Casey told him that Zenaida took Caylee "for a period of time to teach her a lesson" makes me think more than ever that this chick has some whacked personality thing going on. I really think that Zenaida is Casey...

You know, I've thought this for a long time now.
No, not some 'Sybil' thing going on but listen again, listen to everything Casey says and more importantly, HOW she says it when she speaks of Zanny, or Nanny or ZG.
It's almost like she is projecting.

When she said ZG is the last person who I seen my daughter with' (not exact comment but close enough for you to get what I'm trying to explain), and all the other times she repeats her mantra of last seeing Caylee with ZG.....maybe not a Sybil but something similar, something where Casey honestly believes in her own mind she is two people.

Just take a moment (ok, lots of moments :bang:) and Re-listen to anything Casey says about ZG, or Nanny, or Zanny...it's really eerie the conversations she has with anyone....when she speaks of ZG in any form. Just eerieeeeeee.

I wish some of you who are so fluent with words, with grammar, could get inside my head and explain to everyone what I'm trying to say because I'm definitely not getting out what I mean. Gads...I should have paid more attention in school!

LIE:

LA: I've never seen the content of the text messages. We've asked law enforcement for that repeatedly. We've always had to get that on our own.

So, Lee, are you saying you got them or you never got them???
Another opportunity, as I'm sure he sees it, to paint LE in a bad light.

I really need to find and post this article I read about sociopathic speach patterns. They use the incorrect words at the incorrect times because they don't connect with the emotional meaning of words. Their comments are completely innapropriate, creepy and bizarre. You and I would say about a kid who got hit on a bike "Omg, his poor mother!" A sociopath would say "Oh no, his bike got mangled" They flat out say things that make you scratch your head.

A different JH ... a different ZFG ... now, where is that darn wormhole? If only we could visit the right parallel universe, I am sure all would make sense ... maybe as big of a sci-fi fan as Lee seems to be, he believes this scenario.

EXACTLY! He's searching and searching to find out what happened to his niece...he's taking notes...he takes leave of work to do his own search...he consults a private investigator.....he takes water from a defenseless dog....(oops, scratch that last one!)

AND YET HE CAN'T REMEMBER THE NAME OF ONE OF THE KIDNAPPERS???

That was part of his investigation. A lot of people have accused of him being petty and even mean about the dog. But, come on, that was BIG dog, a Saint Bernard. It could've been a really lifelike dog costume and Zanny was inside. Yeah, Zanny was surveiling Casey, making sure she was following the script. Yeah, Lee just wanted to get DNA from the water bowl to test it, so if Zanny did do something to one of the As he would have evidence. Yeah, the DNA results are in his notes - if only he could remember just where those notes are..............

It's her imaginary friend 'Jeff' and his imaginary son 'Zach'. Of course it was an imaginary nanny. It all makes sense now.

Caylee wasn't a real child, she too was only a figment of a mass hallucination. So now we can all believe everything KC says too because none of it's real. Maybe there is no Orlando Fl either, it's a make believe city in a make believe world.

Lee Anthony doesn't exist either, it's an actor playing the part of Lee Anthony.

Ya see now that's where I expected him to break out laughing!!

Near the beginning Lee said he believed 100% of what Casey said. Yet when he answers other questions about Casey saying she was in Jacksonville, he laughs and mumbled something, indicating he does not believe Casey.

He really lets out some good chuckles at explaining Casey's reasoning.

I think Lee was so embarrassed to answer some of those questions, because even he knew he would be a fool to believe Casey. Not for one minutes does he believe her, and he knows that we know it!

Re bold: He's laughing because he wants to be sure we know he isn't stupid enough to believe her...and he's laughing because we can't do a thing to make him admit the truth out loud.

I think our stories show much more imagination than the Anthony stories and ours are more factually correct too; in a backwards, made up sort of way! :blowkiss:

Maybe if we all drink a lot of "Kool Aid", then listen again. It will all make sense.

And this may not make any sense to anyone but me, but Lee's laughter could be his "You know what I mean?" Using laughter as a way of saying "I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. I'm sure you've done this, too."

I understand ... it is like she regresses into a childlike character, with her language/grammar, when she is under stress during questioning! The only issue is that families and friends of people with DID eventually catch on that something isn't right!!
