Any information that was divulged to P.I. Casey while he worked for Baez was
work product and
privileged. HOWEVER, he IS a human being who also might have have been horrified over the thought of a two year old abandoned in a dumping ground.
P.I. Casey and Baez had a falling out in October. We don't know why. But what happened next might be a clue.
DC formally ended his professional relationship with Baez and officially began working for George and Cindy.
Maybe in a weak moment while Cindy was crying on his shoulder (or even while he watched Lee or George crying in their beer) P.I. Casey let his compassion overtake his professionalism. Maybe he could no longer let grandparents hold out hope when there was no hope. Or he wanted Caylee to be buried decently.
Within a few weeks of P.I. Casey formally ending his relationship with Baez, amidst rumors of a fallout, P.I. Casey was out searching for Caylee close to where Caylee's body actually was. Cindy's demeanor visibly changed. Her body was hunched over. She couldn't talk during the interview where the kidfinder lady spoke.
I think Cindy had just been told Caylee was dead and she expected P.I. Casey to find Caylee's body soon.
According to the lawyers on the legal thread, as an agent for Baez, P.I Casey couldn't tell anyone anything he found out that came from Casey & Baez's privileged conversations. But, I think it more likely that HE
did than that LE was eavesdropping and KNEW Casey's location at the same time Baez did.
If LE KNEW where Caylee was they DIDN'T have to send a meterman out to find her. They could have looked themselves based upon "Caylee is close", Chris S.'s sighting of Casey jogging and needing to recheck Kio's hunch.
LE wouldn't send a THIRD party out to do their investigation. Especially one that had already called in 3 times and that had credibility problems with the cop previously sent out. I think Cain would have said RK was an overenthusiasist, overimaginative, over-reacting publicity seeker based upon Cain's responses to RK's calls.
