I have to say I was taken aback when I heard KC ask why no one would give her a straight answer about why an Amber Alert was never issued.

Did she really ask this? Wow. Seems she should have spent at least another 5 minutes online researching "Missing Children" before thinking she had completely self-educated herself on the subject...

Yep. she wanted to know why one wasn't issued and didn't it meet the criteria for one. She said that she and her mother have asked many times but have never gotten a straight answer, or words to that affect. The irony.

Wondering why an Amber Alert was never issued? You have GOT to be kidding me? *shaking head*

I found it interesting that in a screengrab of KC's computer, which showed some of her photobucket pics...the two internet page tabs at the top were A: Zanny the nanny and B: amazon.com/d (the tab doesn't show the whole address but when I searched for zanny the nanny, one result comes up for www.amazon.com/Double-Trouble-Squared-Starbuck-Adventure/dp/0152241272

Get it?

They "asked, but never got a straight answer." How many answers did they get with LE doubling over, falling out of their chairs in laughter? How many answers like that did they get?
In KC's "second" version of events, back on June 9th, she took Caylee took to JBPark. There she met up with Zanny the Nanny and Zanny went "ZANNIE"- assulting KC and kidnapping Caylee-Oh My!" Did she report the kidnapping of her child on this day? Describing both the kidnapper and kidnapper's vehicle so that an Amber Alert could be immediatly issued?

That is the irony. She was concerned about LE wasting time , not following up on tips and not issuing an amber alert, as though they might be letting precious time slip by. Then she complained about not getting a straight answer to all those questions which might help find Caylee.

Hello kettle? This is pot, you're black.

Running out of patience here too. Getting tired of all the media teasers. On the radio today, I heard that the doc dump would "definately tie KC to the murder." Nope, didn't even come close (but admittedly I haven't been through everything yet). Will we at ANY point get to hear some really, solid evidence? Like DNA? Fingerprints? Something more concrete than what we have already? Also tired of so much of it being hashed & rehashed from earlier dumps.

Don't become too impatient, there are a couple of things to keep at the front of your mind.

LE charged KC with child abuse first (a felony), then they indicted her for murder following some tests on the car (confirming death had occurred).

This was all done before the body was found. The SA only needs to show that a death occurred as the result of a felony, and the game is over for KC.

We are over thinking the minutia right now.

This was new to me from Deputy KC's interview:
"Uhm, I step out of my car. I came and talk to the caller. Well I remember it being a white male. I don’t remember age. And I ask him what was going on. And he stated that yeah (affirmative), she, she told them that she’s very close, very close.YM: Uh-hum (affirmative).
KC: And I just thought that was kind of weird, but I didn’t ask anything else."
Bolded by me. I don't remember anything prior to this that LE indicated they had been told by RK he knew where she was other than rumors.

I get frustrated too and every doc dump we hear "Wow! The prosecution has evidence that will prove, prove, prove that Casey did it!" and then the info released, although incriminating, does not seem to definitively prove it. However, I agree that Casey's attitude this whole time, in video and audio even more than the "partying" pictures, show the true story. She obviously doesn't care one whit about Caylee in past audio/video we've heard/seen IMO and this newly released interview just adds to that picture. If she didn't know how to fake concern for Caylee she should have just kept her trap shut instead of joking and laughing - to me that's damning.

What's more, not only does she not show concern for Caylee, she shows that she's a cool cucumber who's immensely comfortable with lying. I.e., does not sweat or get nervous at all when telling them the whole "I dropped her off with the nanny" story.

I agree 100%. Her reaction should have been...OMG, don't let this be my Caylee!!! WHO could have done something so horrible to a child?????

Nope...not even one drop of concern for the "unknown" child.

I think what he's trying to say is that Casey told her brother and parents in the 1st call from jail "she's close, I can feel it". Roy C then repeated that to the officer, as to the reason why he thinks it could be Caylee in the woods.

Thank you Bananarama, I believe you're right. I wouldn't want to wish more on him than what he's got already.

Tony L audio interview.. I did not find some of that info in the transcripts. There are more than one interview with him and Ric....

Tony states that Casey was not nervous or checking on her car the night of the 16th while at BB or watching movies.. doesn't recall her getting up from the movies and going to check on Caylee in the car.
Tony states that he skipped school the morning of June 17th and they had "consensual understanding" slept in till late morning.

Kinda sounds like Casey had already done the deed and felt free to spend the day after Caylee's death having S-E-X with Tony all morning of the 17th.

Bombshell here... Caylee was already dead and either hidden or dead in the trunk...

I'm confused about this statement. Why would she have been checking on Caylee in the car while they were watching movies at his apartment?? Do you have a link so I can read this in context? Thanks! :blowkiss:

Do you think he may have been trying to say if Caylee was with her that night and she did put her in the trunk that she made no attempt to go out and see if she was okay so therefore eliminating the accidential death theory? No reason to check on a child that is no longer alive. George said he saw them leave the house that afternoon but a few hours later....no baby at Blockbuster or any time after that. :waitasec:

Question. In news articles yesterday a couple of the media mentioned that included in the doc dump were comments from some blogs. Anyone found those yet? Have a link or know which blogs?

For those who are looking for bombshells, most likely this is going to be a circumstancial case. Any DNA or fingerprints that might have been on or around the remains would have been degraded by the weather exposure. There are no witnesses or none that have come forward. Cause of death was undetermined at autopsy, and if anything has been found since it hasn't been released. So there is no smoking gun that we know of.

But a circumstancial case is still a very viable case. KC's actions will go a long way, in getting the jury wondering. Not reporting Caylee missing, partying, her behavior with investigators. Jury will be very focused on KC as this behavior would appear very abnormal. Then comes the forensics. Not one but many of the items found at the scene could be seen as matched to the A home. Besides the remains themselves, there are the trash bags, the duct tape, and possibly the sticker. One piece could be coincidence, but this many is incriminating. And the sticker thing will be an attention getter for the jury. Things found in the vehicle that connect a Caylee that wasn't alive, like the decomp and the hair. The vehicle was in KC's control and it is documented that the smell began before the vehicle was dumped. JB can say junk science, but the jury knows better. The computer activitity shows a lot toward state of mind. Witness statements also show her state of mind. And if they can get the other criminal activity during that time period in, so much the better. IMO this is a very strong circumstantial case, just with what we know so far. Convictions have been obtained on much less.

We also don't know all of it. They have released a lot, but they control the releases. And it appears they are releasing in an inverse order of importance. Remember, they started the releases with the psychic tips. So my guess would be the really important stuff isn't released yet. As others have pointed out, most of the forensics testing isn't out yet and probably won't be until just before the trial. And if you notice how much JB complains about how he can't get it, that shows just how important he thinks it is.

Finally, prosecution is working on the big picture. The timeline, the motive and theories on how, where and when it happened. They will put all those little bits and pieces together to where they all make sense. And even knowing all we know about a case, there is often little points that will slip by us until the case is tried. Then when they are seen in context they make more sense.

So have faith in the prosecution and LE and don't give up yet. They were confident enough about getting a conviction that they filed the charges before Caylee's remains were ever found. That is something that the prosecution will try not to do because most prosecutors feel that it weakens the case and could jepordize a conviction. But this prosecution felt they had enough without the body.

So don't give up yet, IMO we will see a strong sentence for KC. Others have brought up the OJ case, but that case had a couple of things going that this case doesn't have. It had celebrity factor, which this case doesn't have. The only celebrity factor here, is apparently in relation to the death of a child and her actions afterward. Not the same thing.

I wouldn't snip a word of what you just said.
Thank you for renewing my faith in our justice
system, may she spend her eternity in prison.

Casey is a criminal. She acts like one and thinks like one. She got hooked on the excitement of deceiving people and doing the taboos. Why, given her good looks she didn't just get a good job and leave. Makes one wonder why she didn't want to earn her way. There was a sense of power for a while, now she gets to waste the tax payers money, kind of like stealing.

Ricardo Morales sold pictures to the Globe! Dear God, is there anyone that isn't making money off this little Angel? Hoover, the detective ,definitely took photos and only God knows what else the night he was sent to the A's home to lock up after the police did their search the night the remains were found. He already admitted to photographing the family in church, etc. without their knowledge, and that he figured they would be "worth something", (in church.... is nothing sacred?) Rather than take the tape of DC in the woods to LE, he asks Leonard who he can sell it for the most. Even the gal from Kid Finders set up the entire ABC "no ulterior motive" expensive stay at the Ritz with the wink that eventually they would give an exclusive. They are all caught on hotel tape talking for hours with DC at the hotel. Do any of these people have any shame? ANY?

I no longer feel sorry for the A's as I have a bit up until now, them trying to frame Jesse.....wow it is over, any would be sympathy folks may have had for them after the memorial, they just threw in the trash! That they would do this to this innocent young man, helps explain KC's lack of any moral compass! I am angry now, and I can't even imagine how Jesse's parents feel. They had taken in this little doll as their future grand-daughter and they were good to KC, and this is how their son gets treated, framed or accused of murder. If I were his folks that town would not be big enough for the A's and me!
