I would agree. Hum - was the training fun you went through?

It only takes a few hours, and the coaches are extremely pleasant and good at their jobs. Most authors love doing publicity/promotion. For me, it's a short step below waterboarding. I hate doing publicity, avoid cameras, and I'm so unphotogenic that even the coaches were mistified and couldn't hide it when they played back the tapes. :floorlaugh: So naturally, I would end up being the one "gifted" with a 50-city satellite tour, to promote awareness of Women's Illiteracy which was the theme of my then-new novel.

The satellite tour means that for 3 days and nights, I sat in a little room staring fixedly at a blank black box and appeared as a "talking head" on 50 different television programs. That was awful, but not as bad as the lengthy live television programs like GMA and even CBS's Early Show.

Toward the end of the satellite tour, my driver felt so bad for nervous, tense, stressed-out me that when he picked me up one morning, there was a heavenly NY bagle and a nice glass of fresh orange juice in the back seat. He'd brought me bagels before, but never the orange juice. I don't like orange juice. He urged me to take a little sip anyway. I don't like orange juice, but a shot of vodka certainly alters the flavor. That day, I did the best, most relaxed string of interviews ever...and for the remaining days, too. Guess why? LOL

I can imagine its probably very difficult to see yourself behave in an ugly manner. How introspective that lesson sounds. Like a bit of therapy, right?

For normal people, yes it would be, a little. But I doubt it had any therapeudic effect on CA. It's purely a bit of an "acting" lesson. When she's confronted with someone who challenges her, I think she will quickly revert.

However, you'd have thought that someone on maybe her lawyer (pick one! ha) would have put this coaching in front of them long ago.

I am SURE many people tried to suggest it in the past but she probably had to see herself in that depo to decide to go for it. Although--she smiled for the first time and most of the time throughout that depo, but it looked more like a smirk, so maybe she'd had a little coaching by then and a graduate course next.

Its nice to see on one hand, but on the other, it's a little late in the day to change the image she and GA have so eloquently painted of themselves and this circus. MOO. :)

For my part, I liked seeing Cindy just the way she was in the depo and in the past interviews. At least she was authentic, and so you could tell who she really is, and what she's really like.

Cindy will now need to prepare an answer for the SA as to why she would want to commit suicide BEFORE she knew Caylee was dead..............at least GA did his fake attempt after they found the baby.

Excellent point, nssherlock!!!! And just think, she recovered so well (thanks to Casey's sage advice), that when a babe's body was found (and all indications were that it was Caylee) she was strong enough to subject herself to a couple nights out at a posh hotel. Wonder what it was that her daughter told her, don't you?

Observations:
1. No gum chewing.
2. A softer gentler version of their lies.
3. They took their meds.

Yep! I conclude they read Websleuths and it has improved their behavior. They just may be so proud of themselves that they will most likely slip up tomorrow.

George is still smirking, Cindy too, I noticed when Cindy looked to BC for the answer, she smirked ..

That was all I saw during my 6 minute ordeal .. :D

You're right - she sure does have a LOT of bling. If you look at photos of her in the early days, she isn't wearing much. But now.....WOW! I can't imagine her going out jewelry shopping though - that's just unthinkable to me. Then again, she never fails to suprise me.

Best,

I like HSN:)

After tomorrow's show, we may want to watch the Congressman from Orange county and see when that bill is getting pushed through the house for approval for $500,000 for the ACIM Chapter in the name of Caylee Marie in Orlando. It will be up to the congress to give him the money he is asking.

Been through the process myself and I must say, the before / after videos can be quite startling. I thought my camera presence was just fine, until I saw a video!

I was more distressed over how unreasonably ugly I look on video. So was my coach! Oh, and how I waggled my head all the time while I talked. :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh:

But it was helpful, I agree.

So what occasioned your video appearances? You're famous, right? Come clean? :blowkiss:

If they had loved Casey, they would have not allowed her to steal their money.

If they had loved Casey, they would have gotten to the root of why she was out of control and made her accountable.

If they had loved, they could not lie.

I just thought of a wonderful question that an interviewer should ask Cindy and George, "When Caylee's murderer is found, what do you think the penalty should be?"

Great Question!

I was wondering, do you think that Lee is bothered that his parents are gallavanting around the country and getting paid to do talk shows when he has to "work" for a living? Lee has been very absent as of late ... where is his "15 minutes"???? I bet he tried to commit suicide as well, I mean, it seems like this entire family likes to tell the world how they want to commit suicide but none of them want to make one single effort to find the "real killer"... if they really believe that Casey is innocent, then they shouldn't be telling the world how they wanted to end their lives when there is a murdering nanny out there somewhere! This just proves to me that none of them really believe Casey, and none of them really want to end their lives, ALL they want, and ALL that they've ever wanted is $$$$$ and TV time, otherwise, they would be out there shouting from the rooftops that someone has murdered their precious little girl and they are still on the loose~!

When are these two going to stop letting KC make fools out of them? Do they realize how stupid they look and sound? For the love of dear sweet Caylee GA & CA.....WAKE UP!!!!! :waitasec:

This is Cindy and George ? So quiet and respectful...let the make over begin ! I am convinced now their purpose is to influence that potential jury. Makes me sick. This is not the real Cindy and George. How long is Cindy going to wear green for her daughter ?

Also, what's with the Caylee button on George, he didn't wear it to the depo, he does wear it on TV and to court...does wearing his Grand daughter's picture depend on what event he is going to ?

The only real life-threatening danger the family was in was from Casey and that is why they asked her, "Is the family in danger"?

Take note: Kc did not want to discuss it at the time. Cindy did not push to discuss it either...lol

I always wonder: How much does CA cringe every time she has to listen to her 911 call about the "dead body in the damn car"? I wish cameras would focus on her face when they replay that.

The Anthony's were very timid in this interview. Doesn't change the fact that most, if not all, of what they say is not true. Yes, Cindy, there is a lot more to it.

There's a lot of questions to be answered. If the Anthonys had a website asking for donations to fund the search of Caylee, why weren't those funds collected turned over to TES, who organized two massive searches for Caylee?

Another question that needs to be answered is how the Anthonys have been able to afford to quit working? Prior to this case becoming a national headline on July 15, 2008, the Anthonys were in debt. Now neither GA or CA needs to work.
I so agree with you here. IIRC CA didn't like the fact that TM was searching for Caylee's remains during that time, but ironically now, they are going to launch an organization to supposedly search for missing children's remains in the water with their boat. I would love to see them asked to turn over their tax returns to see just how much THEY [not their foundation, because their foundation per se isn't making any] are collecting because it's obvious by the jewelry CA wears that they are not hurting financially since they've not been working.

Wow, he said that? I missed that. Well in case he is reading here, I'll say this... George you're a lucky man...cause not every woman would put up with talk like that coming out of your mouth. Here's one woman who wouldn't.... I'd lay him out flatter than a fritter... but then I'm just a girl from the south and I wasn't raised up to take talk like that from a man. That's not respectful. I'm serious too. I wouldn't take it for one minute. He wouldn't be living in my house anymore. CA has deep issues to put up with him. JMHO

No, no, Debbie--he was referring to KC not Cindy! Sorry for confusion.

Well I'd suggest if you don't like the way you look on video that you put up that GORGEOUS dog of yours! You can speak in the background and everybody's happy. Kiddin aside - your Puppy is really nice!:)
