Absolutely.

DNA tests can be done to identify individual dogs. We had our dog's DNA tested to see what breed(s) he is. But, more specific tests can be done. The Arabian Horse Registry began requiring hair root DNA testing in 2002 instead of blood tests for parentage verification.

Yorkies don't shed like some breeds. Their hair grows and needs to be cut. But, like people, they do lose hairs. I betcha there were Yorkie hairs in the Anthony vacuum cleaners.
Oh you know it ! If there are hairs that match the Anthony's dogs, lets say on the duct tape, that would be pretty solid.

I was watching an episode of Forensic Files last week and then happened to watch a show about the birth cycle of canines and I heard some interesting facts about geneology and DNA testing. Doggie DNA is alot easier and less complicated to identify and explain than human DNA because since domestic breeds are decendants from wolves and there about 350 breeds, the gene pool is much more narrow than humans.
And I do know that Yorkies are a breed that do not shed, the hairs break or are pulled out when grooming and such. There is a great chance that there is root material to test if in fact they had found dog hairs on the tape. Is there any record anyhwere that they took samples of blood from the family dogs? Interesting....

They don't need blood. They can do it from hair roots.

The Arabian Horse Registry used to require blood DNA testing to determine parentage. They switched to hair root in 2002. So did other horse breed registries.

My TV schedule said TUESDAY night. They have been shifting primetime shows around lately. I could be wrong but just thought I mention it, Mama!

Thanks!:blowkiss:

Re-watching the show. Something that really caught my attention was LP's comments about GA's friend (ex-LE from Ohio) having to referee a very heated argument between GA & Casey with GA asking her "what have you done to my granddaughter?" Can't tell me he didn't know the truth ~ that Caylee was dead and Casey was responsible. MOO

I wish I could put a repeating video of Cindy on here ... from the good morning show stating this:

"We stand beside her because we know what kind of mother she was..."

ALL THE WHILE, Cindy is strongly shaking her head NO through this entire sentence. Very VERY strong no back and forth no.

If that isn't subconcious speaking the truth, I do not know what is. Cindy, your body language speaks VOLUMES. You should just shut up. (we know you're reading)

I don't understand how they can justify not visiting KC. They claim it's because they are being taped, but if all they want to tell her is that they love her and stand by her, it's the same PR they are trying to do on the Early Show. It doesn't make sense. That kind of publicity could go a long way as they all cry together over Caylee, but why won't they go?

I don't think they can face her and don't trust what she might say or how she might act toward them. What a crock for them to try and justify this. It leaves more questions and diminishes their credibility.

Or Vet=Anthony's dogs and hair found on something at crime scene...would link to that particular breed ?

Dog hair on the duct tape? Maybe they laid the roll down on the rug and some hair was on the ends of the tape just from it being sticky and it stuck to the tape?

It would be damaging to Casey if Yorkie hair was found on the duct tape.

And they took three vacuum cleaners right?

I so have the feeling that if it weren't for CA, GA would've faced the truth long ago. Why can't he find his backbone? jmo

It's in Cindy's purse, right next to his ba!!s ..

LP..........serious confrontation between Casey and George in her room........Cindy and GA's friend, Jim had to physically pull George out of there. It was loud enough that people outside heard it too.

Funny how LP always has all the info after the fact ..

Oh, where's he parking cars now?

:floorlaugh: for a man his age... :waitasec: he should be careful no one puts a dead body in anything he drives. It can happen you know.

  • #198
Yup. I bet they could determine it came from a particular dog, even. I bet there was Yorkie hair on the duct tape.

 Yes...and remember Cindy in Greta's walk through of the house? Cindy seemed to make a point of telling that the Yorkies were on Caylee's bed OFTEN.

Anything the family emphasizes, my ears perk up at :waitasec:

Dog hair from Caylee's bed and Pooh blanket that was found with her.

I hope there isn't zanny the nanny dog hair with Caylee. Is this why CA decided to put out the info on Zanny's dog. How much does CA know?
