Casey Anthony is not crazy. She proved that she understood the consequences of her actions, over and over again. One good example was when she called Jessy to go get her car, parked at the Amscot. She wanted him to put his fingerprints, and DNA all over the car. That way she could blame him for killing Caley, instead of her. It is obvious that Jessy did not hurt Caley, or Casey.
Jessy's only crime was that he loved Casey, and Caley, and what does he get for it? The Anthony's, and Casey, have tried to implicate him in the murder! They have proven by their behavior that they are not good people.
I believe Casey has already been tested by psychiatrists, and they stated that she was not insane. The insanity plea is difficult to prove, and the defendant has to admit to the crime, and a diminished capacity. Casey is, in no way, diminished, as per the psychiatric testing, and do you really think Casey would admit to killing that sweet, innocent child of hers? No way. If she did, she would be letting her parents off the hook for the guilt she has laid on them, and her life would change dramatically.
Casey has done everything possible to blame others. Her parents have jumped on the bandwagon with her, because they cannot stand the guilt. I have children, and grandchildren, and I think I can understand how guilty I would feel if this happened to one of my own, but I would want justice done, no matter who it was! You begin to believe that it would have been alright, but that you did not do enough to help the parent, your child, with the baby. I do not know if I believe that the Anthony's did 'enough' or not.
Casey is a liar, has been a liar, by all accounts, most of her life. Her parents know this, especially Cindy. That's why she and Casey fight so much, because Casey lies to her about everything. Knowing this, I would not have been so easily inclined to believe anything that Casey told me, and I would have checked up on her on a regular basis.
My question is why didn't the Anthony's hire an attorney, and take custody of Caley? I believe they could have proven that Casey was not a fit parent. Casey even told her brother that Cindy thought she was a bad mother. The Anthony's knew something was not right. Maybe in that instance they are guilty for not stepping in sooner, but they did not kill that child. Their spoiled brat of a daughter killed their granddaughter, and she must pay for it!
Adults know that in the real world there are consequences for your actions. Maybe within the protective bubble of a family setting, parents, and siblings, can ignore the lies, and misdirection, but not in reality. The Anthony's spoiled Casey so much that she thought she could have it all. She felt entitled, because she was spoiled. Her freedom to run around, and party was paramount, and Caley was beginning to communicate better.
Remember when George asked Caley how her day was with Zanny, the 'alleged' nanny? He said that Caley looked at him with a vague expression, and ignored the question. She did that because there was no Zanny the nanny!
I think Casey realized that Caley was becoming a problem because she was talking better and better, as the months went by. Pretty soon Caley would be able to tell her grandparents everything that mommy was doing!!! In my opinion, this was what spurred Casey to kill Caley, at the time that she did.
Casey had a nice little con going at home with her parents. They paid for everything, for her, and Casey. She did not have to pay rent, utilities, buy groceries, diapers, etc. If they refused, she would take the baby away from them. But, if Caley started to talk clearly, and confided in the grandparents about mommy's partying, drinking, and all the daddy's mommy was kissing, her parents would have kicked her out, and taken custody of Caley, one would hope. Casey literally had a growing problem in the form of her innocent child!
It's time for the Anthony's to step back from the media. This is not about them. This is about Casey killing her innocent, helpless child, Caley. Caley deserves justice, and hopefully, will get it. She was a baby, unable to defend herself against her murderous mom. Helpless to fight back. The Anthony's need to remember that when they think of lying to defend that monster of a daughter.
