wow..George lying under oath today. I guess now we really know who's side he's decided to take. Lying coward.

I don't think that he has the backbone to sit up there and look over at KC and her fake tears and the way she looked today (which probably took her hours of preparation to achieve) and still tell the truth.

She knows how to play him and she does whenever she gets the chance.

Then snubbing them after the hearing is just to let them know that she is not happy with them. They are not doing all they can. They could get her out if only they would tell them that they did it. Really I think that will come.

I believe that it has already been decided, at least by CA and GA, that if the defense can't put this off on someone else, GA will confess with some accident story and try to go to jail for her. Of course, I thought this back when GA attempted (yeah right) to commit suicide using pizza and beer. He was planning to take the wrap even back then.

I do recall JW claiming she had proof (photo's if I am not mistaken) that the body was not there and her claims of that area being searched. I have always questions what the big roll the white markers/pavers would play in the case. I wonder if the defense turned over the photos and statements from JW? I know she will not be a great witness for them due to her mental state and history. But if she does in deed have pictures of that exact area and if the body was not there then I see this as a problem if they can produce these authentic photos with the pavers/markers, shrubs, trees and other in the photos. I don't care much about her statements...but the photos I would like to see if they carry any merit. Here is another thing that I think may come up. The botanist has stated that the body was there, what if the body was and then moved and put back? Is that possible? Not that I believe that is the case, but if it is possible I see the defense running with that theory as well and creating more reasonable doubt.
I thought even the As didn't want any part of her pics.

But, I do know she drove right up to the site to give them to LE.

Am I the only one who was alittle disappointed in Judge Strickland today?

Essies, you and I are are often of the same mindset. But I have to say I really feel for JS. He has a monumental task ahead of him: ensuring justice is served, being fair and honest, while ensuring he doesn't give the perp cause to scream 'foul.' I like him and think he is doing as best as can be expected under the intense pressure of doing his job.

The only thing in my mind is that, with all the decomp....fluids, etc...it might be a bit tough to move it and all....bag breaking or something.

Baez admits doing legal research! (on the "privacy agreement"). He argues that the TITLE of the AGREEMENT creates confidentiality. He's also arguing that the bail bondsman was providing security, which were legal services.

Something that just sticks in my mind is;

LP didn't come to Orlando on the pretence to provide Security......

LP/company were there to Bond KC out and isn't dumb enough to be locked into an agreement to 'body guard' the A's (without Payment).

Was this security agreement that JB claims (as well as GA....) was consented to, contracted for a fee?

IMHO, LP/company were there to protect their bond fee all the while assisting in helping to find Caylee (if that service was needed).

I can't see any tears..she wipes her eyes alot but no tears...anyone else?

IMO....her behavior was a bit too orchestrated for me today.

  • #408
Nope...me, too. If there were too many motions to hear than he should have scheduled it differently.

Don't forget RR0004, he was hit with that 91 page document that we just saw yesterday. Did he say he didn't get to read it yet as he only received it this a.m.? Or was he referring to another document.

CA looked as if she has been crying and like she wanted to hug the perp. Perp didnt even give her parents a second glance. Shook hands with everyone else and left.

As usual.

Cindy looked like she was begging for crumbs and was completely ignored. I almost felt a smidgen of pity for her. Almost.

Lawyer: Caylee Remains Put In Woods After Casey In Jail
23-Year-Old Accused Of Killing Daughter Caylee

POSTED: Friday, August 21, 2009
UPDATED: 12:59 pm EDT August 21, 2009

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The defense team for Casey Anthony, who is charged with murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee, said in court on Friday that there is evidence that proves Caylee's remains were placed in a wooded lot after Anthony was in jail.

"There is substantial evidence that we've found ... that the body or remains of Caylee Anthony was placed there after Casey Anthony was locked up," said Todd Macaluso, a defense attorney. "It proves that somebody else placed the remains in the area."
Macaluso did not disclose the evidence.
Well, if JW is their "substantial" evidence-good luck with that!! Better have more than that to offset the mountain of evidence the SA's got!!:furious:

The SA had it right. LP wanted to provide his own people because he had put up a half a million dollar bond.If KC wanted out she had to agree to LP's terms.JB was just CYA with that privacy agreement.

JW....wasn't she up close and personal with the As in the beginning? Why exactly was she at that location and taking pictures anyway? Do people who search with TES regularly bring cameras and take pictures of locations they search? Or was she not searching with TES? And since she was one of the As Caylee is alive supporters, why would she be searching for a dead body anyway? I think that if this is what the defense has, they better (and SA of course) do some research on her connection to the As and the timing of all of this.

Yes he says that this 'proves her innocence'. That makes absolutely no sense. She could have killed Caylee and then someone else could have moved the body. I bet Casey's happy that she's sitting in jail while the defense sits on their 'substantial evidence'. This case is beyond ridiculous.

I agree. If they had anything that would prove without a doubt that she did not do this and would free her, they would be screaming it from the roof tops and we would be seeing a trial for unlawful arrest and harrassment or something.

They have nothing or they are too (enter your own word here) to be lawyers.

I think he got hit with a lot of last minute responses to motions...then his head must have been spinning when he heard that AL would be filing some new amended motions. I don't know about all of you guys, but that lady gave me a headache. So maybe that's what we saw...but I think he's tiring of these endless arguments, rebuttals..etc.

Plus animals drug parts of Caylee off while there was still enough flesh to hold her together in sections. All of the bones that would have been part of Caylee's breast area were drug off together. A leg was dragged off as a unit.

According to the documents, in Florida's summer climate a child like Caylee would have skeletonized after only two weeks.

Caylee's bones were found distributed in a way that they could ONLY have been found TOGETHER if there was still flesh to hold sections of bones together. That means Caylee's body was left at suburban BEFORE she skeletonized.

Me too. Maybe we will see him get tough during the trial. One can only hope. I understand how busy he is and that he is trying to make sure that there is nothing that can be used later for a mistrial or whatever but some of this stuff today, like the padilla thing, just seems really cut and dried to me and I don't even see why he would need to think about it.

Maybe he just wants to have time to look over the agreement that JB produced.

ITA.....so much for any kind thoughts about being "re-baptized" and telling the truth from now on!!!

ETA : He ought to be ashamed of himself!!!

What a laugh  First and foremost, if and that is one absolutely huge IF, Macalouso has evidence that will exonerate KC completely, the SA brings charges and convicts said person(s) responsible for Caylee's murder; he best get his feet over to the SA's office and hand it over. Second, if Macalouso has said evidence and has had it longer than one (1) nano-second, then I will pay for ML (the lawyer from FLA who appears on Fox and HSN) to represent KC in a malpractice suit against JB, LKB and AL.

Then we are going to Disneyworld, courtesy of Mastercard.

But of course, it ain't gonna happen and I get to keep that last dollar in my bank account for a long, long time. :)
