I don't think it was either. And the thing that sticks in my mind is that he told JH they were going to get Caylee. Not maybe find her. Not we're going to see if she's there, not this is a likely place where she might be, no uncertainty whatsoever, but we're going to get Caylee. Now, I don't know if Casey said anything or not, but he was CERTAIN Caylee was there. How did he have such certainty as to where she was unless someone told him that she was there for sure? I do agree that yes, it made sense to look there, and yes, Casey is not likely to admit what she did and where Caylee's body was. But he was totally CERTAIN she was there. I just can't get that out of my mind, and it bothers me to no end. Why was he so certain she was definitely there and that they were going to get her that day? Was he just bluffing for JH, or did someone tell him that that spot is where Caylee definitely was?

Here's the root of what I was yakking about upthread. I once thought DC was an important player in this whole crime - that we would read his deposition and have a lot of answers we wanted/needed to fit the pieces of the puzzle together.

So what I was questioning was - if Cindy told Dom to search that area - how did she know to tell him that? And I'm not buying that for two reasons I've already stated. I don't believe ICA told anyone anything about the crime - and while CA may have wanted to be controlling in the search for Caylee, we see more and more this was just hot air on her part. But if she did "know" to send him there, who besides ICA told her?

I suspect, after rereading dufus DC's emails between himself and the physics - he is unbelievably dumb. I think Ginette told him "She is there - follow the pavers, which she could see on Google earth, and she is made her pronouncement. As we often see the "fake physics" do. And he probably told CA who told Baez he was going.

I really really wanted DC to turn out to be a hero - but I'm afraid he is just a spineless pretender. And while I still hope against hope that we hear something new from his investigative depo, I am resigned to the fact we probably won't. I think it's going to come down to him realizing he'd been played for a fool and didn't want the rest of the world to know it.

What if they actually did find her and tamper with the crime scene. It could explain why there was no "smoking gun" evidence found at the scene..... Things that make you go "hmmmmmmm"........

I tend to think IF they had of found Caylee ( which they didnt) they would have come foreward and claim it was from a Tipster ( anonymus) so SEE Casey Couldnt have done it!!!..These Parental Units would do ANYTHING to protect Casey..and could NOT believe even George admit he would do anything, even break the law, or make a deal with the devil :rocker:

I was noticing the camera too. Now you have me wondering about LE getting the pictures from it. Seems to me they might be useful.

Bernardo told his lawyer where to find video tapes of his crimes. The lawyer retrieved the tapes from the Bernardo home during an active police investigation and kept them in his office for 17 months. There is much more to it and it's explained very well in the article. But it's interesting to note that the lawyer had instruction from his client on where to find extremely damning evidence, pretty much the "smoking gun", and that he and his law clerk retrieved that evidence and kept it secret. Sounds very much like what some think happened with KC, DC, JB and CA. I can't say whether JB was knowingly involved in passing along Caylee's location, but this article proves to me that it's not really that crazy to speculate that he might have. Better attorneys than him have been foolish enough to do it.

I think they intended to put something of Jesse's there to implicate him. She didn't visit him for a shower just out of the blue, there was a method at work...
plus, don't forget that Baez was passing letters/messages back and forth between ICA and the A's- they didn't need to try and interpet the Casey-speak, she could talk freely by this method..

I am pretty sure we have not seen the pictures DC is taking. He takes pictures of the items he is poking at, like the blanket. I believe A_News_Junkie was asking if LE has those pictures that we see him take in the video.

Actually IIRC and I listened to that tape ( Interview of Hoover with Detective) and they were talking about the video he took in New York at the Ritz Hotel..you know the Ritz just dayz before Caylee was found, and about a month after the video of the search...Not sure..but I think it was that tape he was talking about making some $$$ on as no one knew he was taping them..and EVERYONE from Team Casey ( Cindy/George) knew they were taping the search at Suburban and Hopespring...Just an educated guess there

I can give you an example which is way over the top and O/T. A young friend of mine just had her first baby. Her husband texted me to say all good - X had a hard time - Baby Girl fine. Okay so I "knew" she'd had her baby, had a rough time, but both my friend and their baby were "well". So a couple of hours later I was at the hospital to visit them and almost wept to hear the story about what "rough" meant. And I saw and held this wee mite with her misshaped head from the "rough" time. And then it was real for me.

So I think it was exciting for Baez to be on camera constantly, it was glamorous to him to represent this "bad girl" the country was talking about, and he suspected she was guilty. But I think the night he sat with her in the jail and told her the remains were or probably Caylee's that it hit him like driving into a brick wall head on. Faced with this site and Dr. G. he "knew" she was guilty. Because after that he aged about 10 years and their relationship changed dramatically. And he realized he was in heap big "doo-doo".

If he had known she was there for sure - would he have been at the site trying to observe? Wouldn't he have gone directly to the jail and said what now Missie? Would you like to plea? Well maybe not plea because Baez had climbed too far into it to be able to back out. But at least not sat there at midnight and shed a few tears while she tried to get used to the fact the end was in sight.

Just taking your thoughts in another direction. Of course I'm just thinking aloud here, just speculating.

What if JB had a feeling KC was guilty but, as you say, liked the attention KC brought. He knows his client is prone to lying, just like we all know. So she somehow tells him where the body is. JB wants to be sure it's the truth before he proceeds with that info because if she's lying and he, say, gets the info to LE and they search and find nothing? The mother of an abducted child making up lies about her child's body rotting in the woods... Wow would that look bad for KC.

So DC is sent out to see if this is one of her rare truthful times. He enters the woods based on KCs instructions and, like I talked about in my previous post, finds no body. JB sees the video and pictures. Decides KC had been lying and feels relief. Maybe she isn't guilty afterall? A false sense of security.

Then Kronk finds Caylee and JB goes from false sense of security to "Oh crap!" in about .2 seconds. Same could be said about KCs reaction.

As do I. But do we really think Baez is dumb enough not to know there was "no body" after two weeks? After two weeks the body had decomposed and the remaining body parts pulled over half an acre. Shortly after that - that piece of land was under water. Just how much depositing of false evidence, tampering, moving the body, etc., etc., could have been done if they were even able to find any parts in all that dense underbrush once the water receded? How was Baez going to retrieve this "body" and hide it? It took the forensics team a week to do that, on their hands and knees, clearing away the brush and the muck.

I'm all for speculation but I'm not for speaking "in certainty" until at least the experts battle it out. My speculation was Casey drove up to the side of the road, got out, opened her trunk, walked three to six feet in - as far as she could without getting anything on her clothes and shoes and just heaved the bag in. The plants, the animals and the flood did the rest. And I hope the plant growth will prove that.
