Quote Respect cloud9 :)

Yeah. I have to agree this statement by LA is a "bombshell" for me.

I missed this part of LA's statement or haven't seen this, and not because I doubt this quote for a minute but because that's so crazy I have to see it for myself, does anyone mind sending me to where I can read that?

:twocents:
I did not know Lee had said that...it is a very "normal" response IMHO from an Anthony. Strange...not hinky...just strange to how I have come to view this family that is Anthony. Not just because of this, but I don't really know how I feel re: LA. There's this...but then he would not take a lie detector test?

DC says he didn't know JH was video taping. JH says DC asked/told him to video tape. One person is really, really lying. And in the video tape you can tell that DC would have known he was being video taped, even without sound, and the sound only confirms it more.

What a mess. Lee found what Cindy was doing upsetting, Cindy's own son fell for what she was selling, the idea of a family "united" and of a "live" Caylee.

...JS...
Great post, Chiquita!

I'm just not sure I believe him (Lee).

See, that is the point I was making in my earlier post. DC cannot invoke privilege since the termination of his contract with JB. Attorney-client privilege exists only between the attorney, client and any 'agents' of the attorney (paralegals, secretaries, law clerks, etc.... and yes, investigators). In DC's own LE interview he confirms that HE terminated the contract with Baez on Oct. 1, 2008. Any privilege ended on that day. I think the Judge DID make that clear when he suggested the SA issue the investigative subpoena since he refused to comply with the depo request. I mean....I don't know how JS could have made it any clearer. He even told the SA to call him if there were any other problems/issues.

You may be correct, he may not have any useful information. I happen to disagree. He has passionately avoided the depo for SOME reason and I don't think it is nobility motivating him. JS seems to agree that the SA has a right to question him and decipher what THEY believe may be 'useful'.

btw, can't figure it out.....what is SOP?

If DC did in fact have a signed employment contract with KC (as opposed to simply one with JB), then it is doubtful that he would even be covered by privilege for the time he was in fact contracted with JB. Unless he is an actual attorney he cannot be shielded by attorney client privilege if he has a direct relationship or business arrangement with the defendant. He is or was KC's employee. The privilege only applies to the licensed attorney and the attorneys staff required to function. Employee's of the defendant, family, and other witnesses cannot be shielded by privilege even if the attorney subsequently hires them. If KC signed with DC before JB did, then the privilege never existed and any conversations JB had with KC in DC's presense are open and subject to examination and investigation.

I agree, this is very special indeed. Lee, I would believe over the any of the others because time and time again he has admitted in his law enforcement interviews and in his depo things that he knew Casey was lying about. I do think him avoiding the hearings forecasts he is of a different mindset than mom and pop and I am holding out hope he will testify truthfully. Even if he never ads anything further, what he divulged here is in this comment you reference is very illuminating.

Thank you for the links. I have read all those statements before though. But thanks

What evidence did he tamper with?

Thank goodness he didn't find Caylee then, or he could have been considered tampering with evidence..

I find it so telling, in JHoover's depo, while the A's are informed of a child's body being found 1/4 mile from their home, these two are worried about who threw KC under the bus!!! Why aren't they worried about Caylee. Is this when they made the conscious thought to do anything they could to prove KC did not murder Caylee??

You guys all do a great service to Caylee's memory. I wish her family would do the same...

DC tells GL he can't see anything due to the water there..How sweet it is! This just reinforces TM's statement and shows, to me anyway, how deceitful and cunning CA is. How she will do all that she can to free her felonious child..I truly wish their love for Caylee would overshadow the actions of her own daughter and they would fight for Caylee's justice. Sadly, they traded one child for the other. CA has a deluded way of thinking..:furious:

BBM - No, it was way, way before that. I am convinced now. There is an interview with Cindy on August 6th where she says that if they can prove that somethig happened to Caylee when Casey was in prison, then it would be all of our faults that she was dead. Of course, this was in the height of the "Caylee is alive" campaign. Sealed the deal for me, and I tried HARD to give them the benefit of the doubt for a long time, probably too long. Cindy's reasoning throughout this whole mess has been beyond deluded, to the point that I think it's all been an act. It reminds me of when, while she was being deposed, she was asked about all of the dirt Dominic had dug up on various people and the question was put to her - did you ever have Mr. Casey investigate what Casey was doing during this time? Answer, NO. Of course.:banghead:

BBM. Tally, your post got me curious about this video of Cindy and her statement that "if we could prove that something happened to Caylee after Casey was taken into custody then EVERYBODY is to blame". These old videos are priceless.

Link to statement below at about 6:40.

Every thing...every single thing...without exception that mom and pop have said and done publicly, that Dom has said and done , and indeed that mom and pop's lawyer has claimed to the media has worked against Casey, in biblical proportions. On the day that Caylee's remains were found, the media contacted Mr. Nejame to comment. On of my favorite things in this entire matter he opined then. He said...it may be Karma that the very day before this precious child's remains were found , mom and pop were out on a media tour....that ought to tell you something and somebody should stop and look at just what is really going on here.

You are so right, Dom admitting to Ginny he couldn't proceed any further into the woods because it was under water is PRICELESS. It thoroughly debunks months and months and months of the defense arguments. When you see him on the tape, you can almost see the exact spot where he stops dead in his tracks and then does an about face ...this is the exact description Mr. Kronk gave of our ill-fated Officer Caine when he approached the water area in the swamp....

I really do think in their efforts to stand by, support and help their daughter...what this cast of characters has done is seal her fate. Late at night, alone in their room...surely these mis-steps occur to them, and still they continue. Deep down, even if they do not admit it aloud to one another or even to themselves...they know this is all counter productive and I think the hate over what Casey did, guilt they feel over where they went wrong with her...the deep sadness over losing their beloved Caylee fuels the confusion, they feel they have nothing left to lose. I agree with Mr. Nejame...there is some sort of Karma justice to it all. Losing the house is symbolic.

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ajibgshx94[/ame] five minute mark

Mr. Nejame states very clearly here that when he resigned be believed the baby to be dead and Casey to be responsible for her death.

I agree, The World According. You are spot on. They are playing Final Jeopardy with their daughter's life by giving answers to questions they think they know. Discovery has proven otherwise. The new photos of the trunk must be difficult for them to deal with. JMO

Maybe - maybe not. I would like to know what CA and GA saw in that trunk before all the cleaning went on, or what that trunk looked like on the fateful night! IMO they are discussing the "trunk photos" amongst themselves and remarking about how well they managed to "clean it up" before LE got it!

Priceless...

If they have concrete proof and not circumstantial evidence I will be the first one to stay she needs to stay where she's at! CA needs to watch this video so her words will come back to her mind.

Now, that Caylee's remains were found, all the evidence found with her linked back to the Anthony home, I wonder what CA feels now about that! This is more than just circumstantial evidence now, at least I see it this way, even though a definitive COD cannot be told, the duct tape placement over Caylee's airways tell me Caylee's COD.

CA is such a hipocrit, I remember when RC would not accept her help in looking for HaLeigh, she goes on media and sends a message to RC, he should not turn down help, paraphrased but isn't that just what she did when she refused, would not cooperate and give TM/TES an article of Caylee's to search for her??? Another priceless moment, do as I say and not as I do..

Justice for Caylee must prevail, her life mattered and her was death horrendous and demands justice to be served. JMHO

Justice for Caylee

I have always said, one may escape the law of the land but the law of the universe one cannot escape, KARMA!

It was ironic how the day before Caylee's remains were found, CA/GA are shouting about a live Caylee. This after finding out, it was SHE who sent DC into those woods to look for Caylee and it would be a deceased Caylee that he was looking for almost a full month prior. I wonder how she will respond at trial?

All their bizarre behaviors, their incredibly self serving words/actions, will come back to haunt KC when this trial rolls around. I can see it now, CA being deemed a hostile witness. GA being charged with perjury for his statements will differ from what he told at The GJ the day KC was indicted. BC proudly boasted about the video JH shot and how it was the property of the Anthony family and how it fell under the umbrella of privlege since JH was an employee of DC and DC was working for the Anthony family..another priceless moment!

Justice for Caylee!

CA (paraphrasing): "If someone watches your child and doesn't give IT back, then...", "If they don't give IT back..."

On and on with "IT"... sounds like she's talking about a stolen necklace. No concern for what horrendous things her precious Caylee is going through or has gone through. Caylee, a human being, is not an "IT". :furious:

Funny that you bring that up knt. I noticed the multiple references to Caylee as "it", during this video too. I had watched the video before, but don't remember keying in to those words then. Cindy was so involved in defending her daughter that, IMO, she couldn't have been thinking of Caylee during that time. Her statements about wanting the jail visits, phone calls to remain private, (because it would jeopardize Caylee's welfare) is just another example of how she used her Granddaughter to keep the heat off of Casey. Had she really wanted the truth, she knew where to find it. She knew the truth, even back then...I believe.

You are so right! I remember when there was so much complaining about the A's media mania, but now all of their words are warehoused by every network and publication they ever talked to.
Funny how things that seem so bad in the beginning turn out to be golden in the end.

BBM.

When Cindy and George were on LK (day before Caylee's remains were found) they said they were actually following up on a lead in California (made it sound like that was their main purpose for being there, instead of the appearance on the LK show). Looking back, knowing they had sent Dominic down to Suburban to search for a deceased Caylee (a month prior to the LK show), well, it's just too much to fathom.

Karma is a strange thing, if ever a case cried out for it, it was this one.

"In Lee's depo he was ticked that mom had sent someone out to look for a DECEASED Caylee since it was the family's position that she was still alive and that no one should be thinking otherwise."

Exactly! :)

OOPS!! Just reading Cindy's deposition again (part 2, pages 473-478) and she testified that ahe "absolutely" did not know until after she got back from the Larry King interview and Caylee's remains had been discovered that Dominic had been in those woods. Was quite adamant about it actually. And a far cry from, "I had my people walk those woods in November"! Boys and girls, can you spell "perjury"??

Plus on DC's statement he clearly stated that he called them while they were in CA directly after he heard the news on TV and told them about the news report. They were waiting to board their plane to come home. DC said it was shortly after the first report on TV before 10am. If DC is telling the truth there would be a phone record.

True. And according to the video link above posted by TWA in re. Mark Nejame - MN said he spoke with Sgt. Allen....Sgt. Allen confirmed he personally called Cindy before the press had a chance to announced it. He wanted her to hear it from him and not from the media.

searchfortruth and The World According--thanks for these videos! My interest in the case came late..I didn't watch it unfold from the beginning, like many of you have. I have looked at early videos in an effort to bring me up to date--but what a labyrinth of videos there is! I usually choose something to watch that is of very little help to me (for understanding)--it is time consuming! That video of Cindy in her driveway is revealing in many ways.

I come from a family that bears many similarities with the Anthonys..but I THINK my even my grandiose family would have drawn the line at "conducting their own investigation to mastermind a "suitable" outcome! My family would have been able to forecast the difficulties associated with trying to orchestrate a "preferred" conclusion! The entire state of Florida has been watching them, not the mention the entire country. Did they REALLY think that they could outsmart everyone--especially with so many watching them?

Where do you think GA is in all this? I think it is logical that CA & LA did all this (found out where Caylee was & sent Dominic Casey to find her) without GA's approval. It would make sense that he would not approve..because he (as former LE) would know what could happen to them regarding accessory and obstruction.

Thank you affinity for the post. I still find the amount of material in this case to be overwhelming, I forget things I know I have seen before and my mind (at times) feels like it will burst if there is one more piece of info to digest. The up side to so much information, evidence is that it will make a conviction that much easier for the jury...They may at times be confused with the abundance of information, but I feel they will be secure in their decision at the end.

I was just thinking about the question you asked in the last paragraph of your post. Did George know, in November, that Dominic was searching Suburban Dr. for a deceased Caylee ? I find it hard to believe that he didn't, though I would prefer to be wrong on this one. Even after all of the let downs, I still sometimes hope that there is one, out of the bunch, that would refuse to go along with this.
