At the hearing on January 8, Baez had a major hissy-fit because it cost too much money to fly his experts to Florida to examine crime scene evidence and the photographs.
The fact is, the defense is
not precluded from inspecting the crime scene evidence, they just don't want to spend the $$ to do so. While this relates to the "spoliation" issue, it also points out that the defense has too many people to fly in to be effective.
As to the duplicating or printing of the pictures, the judges main concern was that the pictures of the body would be "leaked" and he has no jurisdiction outside the State of Florida.
I have a strong feeling our dear judge will allow them to duplicate and manipulate those photos all they want, providing it is done under lock-down conditions in the Florida lab.
