2009.11.12 Mallory Parker's Depo *read it here*

Okay did a little searching and remembered this interview with Nat, roommate of Tony's who was there the night ICA was picked up by Cindy and when Lee A paid a little visit later on that night.

Lee Anthony says to 2 strangers,

"I wish I'd have met you sooner I could have warned you about my sister"
"She (ICA) is a pro at this, passing bad checks, forging checks"
"You'd better check your bank accounts she may have stolen from you"
"She (ICA) lies"
In response to her going to college - "The girl doesn't even have a high school diploma"
"I don't know if she has a job"
"She has put my mother into debt seriously"
"She's basically a con artist"

And yet Mallory would like LE to believe that Lee barely talked to her about ICA in their 3 year relationship? Uh huh Mallory, sure.

Exactamundo! This is why I just don't buy that they didn't really talk about IT. :banghead:

I'm a little disappointed at the SAO for keeping the entire depo 'light'. That and a little confused that MP would need a lawyer to protect her rights while she told the truth about something she had no involvement in.
I'm naive in that I don't understand why a customer service agent at a parking lot would need to pay out a weeks worth or more of salary to protect herself with a few hours worth of lawyer. Did the A's pay for her lawyer? Did the foundation pay?
Anyway, why no questions about the pregnancy? MP was there while the huge tumor grew. Didn't she have any insight? No pillow talk with LA? No questions or answers about the family dynamic during that stressful time?
She didn't know ICA had stolen money from LA but had been going out with him for years. She's not close to ICA but gets invited to and accepts the invite to her welcome home from jail dinner with the lawyer and his wife and some assorted others who remained nameless in the depo. She can't offer any insight into what her and LA's life was like after Caylee was kidnapped ((((cough)))) or found dead, or LA's investigations, or the foundation that she's of Director of along with her Mom.
I'd be interested to know what her IQ is. My guess is it may be pretty low, right along with her self esteem, which is why she can spend 76 or so pages saying she doesn't recall what should be the most traumatic event in her young life.CA told ICA in one of her letters that the kids were planning on an August wedding but it would likely be more like October with everything else going on IIRC. Lets just hope this girl (womanhood is earned IMO) gets a clue between now and then. Some gene pools should be allowed to just dry up.
It's so sad to have it reconfirmed that the dead toddler is better off dead. These people are despicable IMO.

BBM. I totally agree with you! I am not saying this to be mean or put down Mallory, but I wondered about her IQ as I read her deposition. I thought she might have some sort of learning disability or other handicap. Her willingness to tow the party line and play dumb was staggering. Again, my intention is not to be snarky, it truly was what I was wondering.

We were thinking about you even though your family would not say your name.

This deposition is total BS you only have read Mallory's letter to casey in jail to see that they were way closer than she made out, ICA wrote lee a blinking letter about Mallory, that's a weird kind of closeness for a start. Pathetic all of them. I've linked the letter incase anyone would like to read mallory gushing to ICA about how wonderful and beautiful she is. Not surprisingly there's no mention of Caylee.

Thank you so much for finding the letter and attaching it. Really puts her depo in perspective for me.

OH MY LORD ! I just read this in its entirety and OH MY LORD !

The dysfunction in this family is just beyond my comprehension - and any parent who would allow their daughter to continue being an active participant in this nightmare is not any better. I just do not get how on earth Malory's family can just sit by and let her go completely under in this gene pool.

OH MY LORD !

A lot of folks here are shocked about the fact that at the "welcome home" dinner for ICA with 8 or 10 guests including JB and his wife, Caylee was never mentioned. When you think about why it would make perfect sense.

We can already see how ICA deals with people who get too nosy - she gets furious and "frushtrated" and uncooperative. This family was walking on eggshells with her for years. She was obviously ticked that the family didn't sell their house to bond her out of jail and that the amount offered for Caylee's return was exactly what her bond would be. We already know that the next day ICA allegedly turned on her dad for being a cop because he had the nerve to ask her - and that was in private, not in front of a boatload of guests. CA always told GA to defer to her with KC because she "knew how to deal with her" - CA did not openly confront KC I imagine but tried to circumvent her temper with what she thought was subtlety (like the July 3 MS page). Even then, when CA innocently asked too many questions about whose apartment was in the picture, that was when ICA went ballistic in that jailhouse visit tape. Unless they wanted an embarrassing scene at the table, it was probably wise to keep the conversation light and placate her by treating her like a returning solider from overseas (sigh).

Second, we all know that CA is the type to insist to the world that everything is rosy - no pregnant daughter, she is a perfect mom, etc. etc. That, and the fact that her daughter's lawyer is sitting at the table probably meant that anything involving the case (which obviously centers around Caylee) would not be discussed in front of any guests.

However, even if JB hadn't been there and ICA wasn't the most self-absorbed twink on the planet, there is no way Caylee would have been brought up. The elephant in that room was not a missing toddler but a dead one, and that whole family knew it at that point.

Above BBM

Cecy, excellent post!

ITA! I believe that although they repeatedly stated they were searching for a live Caylee, in their heart of hearts they all knew that child was dead the moment the car was found and they smelled the trunk odor of death. ICA tortured her family with it. And as far as I can tell it looks as if she is going to continue to torture them for the rest of her life. They live in a perpetual state of denial IMO.

Also I am certain that Mallory knows far more than what she says that she does. There is no doubt about it. Her car was there the day the call came from ICA at the jail. I wonder how on earth her family can let her be involved with such a family?

I'm sorry but I just don't get it. This depo was a baffling read to me. KC gets out of jail and there is a celebratory dinner with guests and no one brings up the fact that a not yet 3 year old toddler is somewhere out there in the big bad world alone, helpless!!??? WT*!!!!

This is a boatload of crap IMO.....I hope they all pay for their instant acceptance of Caylee being erased out of existence and memory! DISGUSTING!!!!!!!

Thanks for finding this and linking it. It really does show just how much Mallory was hiding the truth during the depo... in fact she out and out lied. Hopefully the state can introduce this letter in the trial if they find the need to impeach any testimony Mallory may give in trial.

Depo was a "waste... huge waste"

Wow, that is some bizarre family. And it furthers my belief that Caylee wasn't ever really a part of that family either. How could they do something like this if they really loved Caylee? Unbelievable. I can't believe Mallory just went along with it. A true Anthony there!

Well, I have to admit, I'm stunned. A dinner party the first night Casey is out of jail, her attorney and his wife are there, and they carry on like it's a big happy celebration!!! Never mind that Caylee has been gone for way over a month and Casey kept it a secret, and then, they throw Casey a party!

Unbelievable.

Mallory fits right in with them, doesn't she? Don't ask our business and we'll get along just fine. Come on! A baby is no longer with her family and they have a dinner party. :banghead:

Talk about a liar! In her SWORN depo she says she and Lee have never lived together- in her letter to Casey she talks about the nice little 3 bedroom 2 bath house with a fenced yard not too far from Cindy and George's house.

Where is that smashing head icon?!
