That makes total sense. All I could think of was a foundation for a patio. I hadn't known they had to get a permit!

Well, that's about what their foundation is worth. You're not crazy, you just see right through them, LOL.

BBM. Yeah, like Casey does? lol! Thanks again for looking it up. The pdf on doc stock isn't work for me at the moment, for some reason.
I had trouble with it too so I just downloaded the pdf version and it worked great. All you have to do is put in your email addy.

Yet they sit down and have a happy dinner? That is not panic no matter how you look at it. It sickens me and saddens me that Caylee was a nonentity to these people! So what if Casey gets upset! This is a two year old who can't defend herself or survive on her own, and pleasing princess CASEY is more important? What is wrong with this picture?

Seems more like they knew Caylee was dead, and everyone just wanted to move on with their lives and cover it up like Caylee had never existed. My heart has never hurt so bad for a child before! I didn't even know Caylee and apparently I love her more than her whole dang family ever did!

I'm glad I didn't bother to read this depo. My blood pressure is up just reading comments about it! I do agree that she has a flat personality and apparently is desperate to fit in with this family, probably because Lee is the only love of her life. But I don't agree that this family felt panic. Far from it. If they felt any panic, it was fear of Casey getting caught and exposing their lies and dark secrets, not panic because of Caylee!

BBM. Yeah, and not only did they sit down and have that happy dinner, there was the fancy crab (or shrimp?) puff dinner at the Ritz hotel on the day little Caylee's remains were found. This family is just... arrrggg.. they make me want to just rip my own hair out!:banghead:

Thank you, Dr. Fessel. I think I'll go ahead and do that. :)

My vision of that dinner is so surreal. Keeping it light and happy, deal with the little girl missing for weeks tomorrow.

I have a had a few friends almost step off the deep end from this case and I see why. This is like something from a horror show.

lol! Oh that kind of foundation!
All I could think of was a building permit for a patio or something because there was talk that the A's had been involved in doing some landscaping during July 2008!

Oh I'm sorry-lol! I know what you mean though, some of these words just run together. sort of sounds like this, but really means that. I shouldn't be :floorlaugh:, but now that you brought it up, wonder if they did or needed a permit to pour a concrete foundation for their patio? I see the inspector making notes as we speak:great:

Calling it a night. Tomorrow I start again.:seeya:

It was a long day, they probably just wanted to keep it light and happy and deal with their granddaughters body tomorrow.

reminds me of that great quote from Scarlett O'Hara in Gone With The Wind:

"I'll think about that tomorrow - because, after all, tomorrow is another day!"

BBM.

Up until 24 hours ago, I would be in desbelief and asked you for a link. However, I am beyond that stage now. I am still absolutely stunned though/

I used to be sceptical why everyone was so hostile towards the Anthony's (apart from ICA, it was obvious why you were hostile towards her) but now I can understand.

I still have my reservations now (not least because I have no idea what the defense is going to be) but my opinion of the Anthonys is plummeting.

Just completely gobsmacked.

With all due respect, that's no excuse. This was their dead granddaughter, and they had a grand meal instead of worrying about her. It was all about their needs, as usual. There is no keeping it light and happy when a child is dead. There's no putting a dead child off until another day. If that had been me, I don't care how long a day it was, I wouldn't have eaten anything and got there as fast as I could to try and see her body or something. I would be desperate about that, not eating a pricey dinner. It's not about them, it was about Caylee, and they continually, over and over, put their needs over hers.

The inhumanity towards Caylee is just heart wrenching to me. No one in that family ever put her needs over their own, and that makes me want to cry for her, it really does.

Well, that certainly was interesting. They all had dinner together happy that Casey was home, but no Caylee? Wow.
They all deserve each other...but Caylee deserved none of this. She deserved so much better.

You have no idea! (and that's probably a good thing)

So I see that Mallory was involved with airplanes...did we ever find out who the connection was to PB?

I don't know what is going on with that doc, I shouldn't complain as we are lucky to have it all but this is what helped me, use the page number system (if you see page 22 then manually change it to 23 to get to the next page) at the top to move to the next page instead of scrolling down. It's a bit painful but better than nothing.

Mallory sold out and aligned herself with the Anthony's from the get-go. She partook of the "fringe benefits"; foundation wages and an all-expenses paid cruise. Shameless, how sweet innocent unforgettable Caylee Marie simply disappeared from their lives.

Had to jump back in for a sec. Yup, they waited 31 days and did nothing, they waited and waited and did nothing, ica said something about one more day. to CA, what would it matter to them? Joy of their life is missing and all they can do is celebrate the liar coming out of jail? Guess in their mind, they are invincable. Can't mess with them per CA. :pullhair:

I read as much as I could before it went blank. From the beginning I thought she was thoroughly coached by her lawyer before this interview took place. So...I don't think she's covering for anyone. I think her lawyer did a mock practice interview over and over. That is why she used terms such as "not to my knowledge.."wasn't privy to." I doubt if she uses words like that in normal conversation.

I get that same trouble with the longer docs on Docstoc when I read them on the site so I've started downloading them. Works just fine when reading on my computer.

The strangest thing I thought Mallory Parker said in her deposition was something about Amy Huizinga lying about knowing her in front of Lee Anthony. I kind of skimmed through that deposition because that docstoc is hard to read, so maybe I missed something important pertaining to that. Why would Amy Huizinga lie about knowing her in front of Lee. What was that all about? Did anyone get that? Nothing else in that deposition really caught my eye.

I believe your comments are primarily on point as usual Chiquita, but Mallory actually described what she and the family were feeling as "sheer panic".

I read that also logicalgirl. She is only Lee's girlfriend not an Anthony as someone stated. Unless they impeach her statements, I will have to take them for the truth.
