2009.11.12 Mallory Parker's Depo *read it here*

Thank you so much for finding the letter and attaching it. Really puts her depo in perspective for me.

YUP. That letter changes everything. Wow. So Mallory was not being truthful in her depo when she tried to say she barely knew Casey and they were not really close friends. imoo

Talk about a liar! In her SWORN depo she says she and Lee have never lived together- in her letter to Casey she talks about the nice little 3 bedroom 2 bath house with a fenced yard not too far from Cindy and George's house.

Where is that smashing head icon?!

I believe Mallory is withholding some truths..:twocents:

She may not have lied in the Depo about never living with Lee..look at the dates of the depo and the letter to Casey.
The Depo was November 2009
The letter she wrote Casey, where she says she and Lee are living together, was written in February of 2010. The post stamp says Feb. 9 2010 on it.
Maybe they were contemplating living together but had not moved in together when the depo was conducted...

Baez:

" And it is my pleasure to introduce to you Casey Marie Anthony..."

That sounded so weird.

Well, I have to admit, I'm stunned. A dinner party the first night Casey is out of jail, her attorney and his wife are there, and they carry on like it's a big happy celebration!!! Never mind that Caylee has been gone for way over a month and Casey kept it a secret, and then, they throw Casey a party!

Unbelievable.

Mallory fits right in with them, doesn't she? Don't ask our business and we'll get along just fine. Come on! A baby is no longer with her family and they have a dinner party. :banghead:

I bet Baez was there that first night to make sure no one asked Casey any questions and Casey did not spill any truths...
Baez did not want Casey talking about Caylee or the case to ANYONE including her family.:twocents:

The depo was given in late 2009 (I believe November), the date on the envelope of the letter is Feb. 2010. Maybe this is why the info is conflicting.

How do you play happy hostess with a toddler missing, and most likely dead?

How do you load up a cart at the grocery store, thinking about what you'll make? How do you set the table with dishes from the cupboards and not see her little baby plate and sippy cups without going to pieces? How do you not lie comatose on the floor of her empty bedroom, smelling her sweet sleeping baby smell, wondering what hell she might be living through at that very moment with a kidnapper or pedophile?

No, instead you crack open some cans of beer and fire up the BBQ & celebrate the fact that your lying, <modsnip> of a criminal daughter is sleeping free and easy in her bed that night instead of cellblock 11?

How does nobody say her name? How does everyone "keep it light" when a voiceless, powerless and defenseless baby isn't sitting in her usual little spot at the table, making everyone laugh as she lights up the room?

Doesn't matter. Pass me another Bud and some more macaroni salad.

The opening wording sort of remnds me of what GA called ica a couple of times.
Back to the jury selection:rocker:

NOPe. That is EXACTLY how he introduced the inmate to the jury pool. I posted this in the wrong thread because I was kind of shocked. LOL

But after introducing the team of attorneys and staff, he said "it is my pleasure
to introduce you to Casey Marie Anthony." eewwwwwwwwwwwwww

Whoa there one lost - the depo was done November, 2009 - I have no idea when the letter was written, but obviously after the depo.....

First glance after a long time at that letter - there's some "code" there - eh.

But, I would like to point out that if there is anyone to blame for NO amber alerts, NO searches, NO cooperation, that person is one Mr. Jose Baez, EsquLIAR

THere are two awful stories in the news here. One is a 9 year old girl who was missing for a few hours. They found her bludgeoned, having been raped and strangled by a 24 year old. The other is an 18 year old missing high school senior..the story was on JVM. Both of the families show utter and absolute horror, grief, and panic. The A's having a celebratory dinner and not mentioning the missing light of the house makes me ill.

I'm curious to know what posters think Mallory's depo "should" contain that would be valuable to the defense or particularly to the SA in the prosecution of ICA?

If she was not, at the time of the crime, friendly with ICA, did not "go out" with her, had never ridden in her car, and at the most, saw her only a family functions once or may twice a month and some times not for two months at a time, what could she say?

Anything Lee told her would be third part or hearsay, so what could she add? I don't believe CA would allow her to be around any family "scenes", she has nothing to offer regarding the crime, so I'm not understanding everyone's views at this late date, besides general condemnation for associating with the Anthony's.

Yes, the letter to ICA is sickening and I'd like to know when she wrote it, but obviously this girl has no emotions of her own, aside from being pleased she actually might be getting married - but it is just stupid comments and not someone who sees big picture at all. My feelings are the same - flat person, not very bright.

That's what I figure too...and I just looked and the postmark is February 2010, about 3 months after the depo.

TBH, her depo was about what I expected. I don't necessarily think she's lying or covering, as some others do. Maybe she is, maybe she's not... I dunno. I never expected to see anything illuminating from her depo. As for the letter, I just think it is sickening because she seems to be coddling ICA the way the rest of the Anthony family does... and not one mention of Caylee.

That's why I am so glad to see this trial come. Caylee's name will be heard over and over and over.

I also think Mallory forgot about hanging out with KC, playing beer pong at Lee's. There's a pic of that. Pics don't lie. So, she did hang out with KC socially and drank with her.
